Romantic setting, great service, and great food! Fancy but you don’t have to splurge.

My experience at Bonefish was awesome! Service was great and food was delicious. Me and my family shared the large sashimi and all of us had a dish off of the specials card, which was amazing.

Terrible service. First time I have been cussed by a waitress because she got our order wrong. They did comp the part of the order that was correct but I would much rather pay for my meal in a pleasant atmosphere and good service. Not sure how they will stay in business with that type of employee-too many other choices to make when dining out. Only 1 star because you have to select something to post the review

Bang bang shrimp is to die for! Also had a Caesar salad and corn/crab soup. Good stuff.

There was a mistake on my order, but I accepted the plate anyway. Danielle, our waitress later proceeded to bring me a to-go container with my correct order to take with me. Added bonus, Eli the manager came over with a complimentary dessert and a coupon for a free entrée. Plus — two bags of bread and dipping sauce to-go! Everyone makes mistakes, and they handled it the right way!

Love their shrimp bang bang appetizer, should’ve tried their Singapore calamari next, ordered fresh grill of the day and it was okay, good service a lil bit pricey.

Went here for a birthday dinner and had a great time. We sat on the patio, which was nice, but lead to slightly slower service than if we were inside. Food all came out right, and everyone was satisfied. We even got a free birthday dessert.

My family and I visited on a Saturday recently and less than impressed with the food and experience. This was not my first visit but it has been at least 10 months since being here. I wasn’t that impressed with the food or service. Too many other options in Clear Lake now to make me want to go back here.

I’m not sure what happened in the past year or so, but Bonefish is not what it used to be. My husband took me out for my birthday and we came here as I requested because I remember it for great service and awesome food, but it was not as expected. It was a Saturday night around 7pm and hardly anybody was there(red flag #1). We were sat and waiting for about 10 minutes for our server to come acknowledge us, and take our drink order. He was an elderly man that was not very knowledgeable or personable, and kinda gave off a creepy vibe. We got a ceviche app, and it was wayyyy too sweet, with hardly any meat in it. The food came quickly, and was only okay. After the meal I wasn’t really feeling it, and just wanted to go home, but since it was my birthday, my husband insisted on getting dessert, so we decided on the key lime pie. Thankfully that was really good. That was the 2nd time in 6 months that I had been disappointed in Bonefish at Baybrook, and don’t think I will be going back.

Brought the wife here the other day on suggestions were have gotten from other people! I must say neither one of us were disappointed!!! Came on a weekday after lunch and they still had a pretty good crowd in here. We had a recommendation from one of my wife’s co-workers to try the«Bang– Bang Shrimp» appetizer! These things were the bomb!!! I must say we were both really impressed with them, and you can darn near make a meal off of the appetizer!!! There were quite a number of shrimp here, plenty for two people!!! We then settled on what we were getting for lunch. We both wanted a salad, so I ordered a house salad with Ranch and you can add chicken or a few other items to it. I chose to add seared Ahi Yellowfin Tuna! It was just right grilled and served rare with the salad. It was great!!! I ordered the Bonefish grills Fish and Chips with fries. My wife ordered the Bonefish Grills Maryland Crab Cakes. I must say that all we had was really great!!! They also had fish tacos with your choice of fish, I chose to try them with the Bang– Bang Shrimp!!! Talk about good! The waitress was really great and helped us a lot in our choices. She also said the have the Bang-Bang shrimp half off on Wednesdays!!! You can beat that much shrimp for $ 5.00!!! Normal price is $ 10.00! I must say we will be back, we were both very impressed with the freshness of the shrimp and fish. Which by the way, the waitress said was bought fresh daily by the owners! I’ll have to add, he knows what he’s doing!!! Try them out!

I recommend the crab crusted roughy. For the sides either broccoli, truffle mac, crab rice, sweet mash, asparagus, au gratins, or rice. Just saying… Hope to see you.

Blah! Never go to Bonefish Grill. I have been to this location twice. The first experience was so bad, I had to go back to see if it was me or was it really that bad! Trust me… it is THAT bad. Both times we went it was at early dinner time. There is never anyone there eating when we arrive and very few people come in after us. I kinda wonder how they stay in business. We have ordered a variety of things from their menu on the two occasions. The 1 star that I have given is for their appetizer called Bang Bang Shrimp. It is pretty good. However, for the price I expected more than just a few frozen shrimp dipped in their sauce. Again, it’s just ok. Their house salad with the house vinegarette is quite plain and not a very exciting salad. The entrees typically come out VERY bland. The last time I went I had the chicken covered in goat cheese and spinach. It was not very good and the chicken was dry. All in all, I would recommend skipping this place. There are too many seafood restaurants in the area that are not chains. I would recommend trying one of those instead of eating at this place.

We were so excited to try this place out since we talked about going here for a long time. We have ordered appetizers and drinks and everything was going well until we got out food. My fiancé had ordered the Cobia special with 2 sides, one of the sides was Potatoes Au Gratin and they were just flat out disgusting worse than Betty Crocker boxed more so along the lines of biting into a stale piece of bubble luscious. We had asked our server«Big Josh» if we could get something else, of course he agreed with a attitude. No need for the attitude dude, we were happy to pay for an additional side. But from here on out it got worse. Once upon eating the rest of our dinner, I was grubbing on mahi mahi with a side of steamed spinach. As I was chowing down on my spinach I came across a rather large rock in my bowl. Yes a Rock, who knows how it got in there, it could have been from the fields to the packer who ever. So we thought, what they don’t wash their vegetables before preparing them that came from there wholesaler. I alerted the waiter he took it from the table right away and never brought another new side. We were just sitting there laughing about it. But I don’t think they found it too funny, the manager came over and offered us a couple rounds of free drinks and free desert. So we ordered what they had offered. Our bill came and the only thing they comp was one desert, we disputed the charges. But nothing was changed on our bill. We Tipped the waiter more than we should have. So we sat there and finished our conversation as we were almost done with our martinis as our waiter strolled by and snatched our drinks(with a good 1⁄3 left in them) when we weren’t even close to being done with them. And that was the final kicker, we will never be back to this restaurant.

What keeps me coming back? The bang bang shrimps! I’ve been low carbing and little known fact: these bad boys can be grilled/sauteed as opposed to fried. I’d order the bang bang tacos served this way(avoid the tortilla) and it comes with more shrimp than the app. Also comes with a side salad. Try the winter white martini! Only served one time a year!

You know those ridiculous pictures of smiling women with salads? Let’s face facts… have you ever actually seen anyone smile when eating a salad??? No. It’s generally a miserable affair. Unless it’s a Bonefish house salad. Bonefish Grill is my favorite chain restaurant, and this place does a pretty good job of keeping fairly consistent with what I expect from a good Bonefish. Tips and notes: — Wednesday is their discounted Bang Bang shrimp night. — This Bonefish has a stingier Happy Hour than the 5 other Bonefishes I’ve been to. Booze specials, no food specials. — You can sub out the(sometimes) crappy seasonal vegetable with a regular side. Spaghetti squash is not a food unless you’re on a diet, no matter how much bacon grease one can stir into it. — Two big TVs at the bar for those that enjoy a side of ESPN with their pesto bread: D My favorite menu items: — Fontina pork chop– beyond bomb and best with rice! — Bonefish house salad– My favorite restaurant house salad EVERRRR — Sides: cilantro rice and truffle mac and cheese — Bang bang shrimp and calamari Service both times have been a 5/5, once at the bar, and once at a table. My visiting uncle with limited English ordered a «cup of wine» instead of a «glass,» so the awesome server actually brought it in a tall drinking glass(cup), which confused the hell out of my uncle, who was wondering if this was a fancy pants new American trend. :P(I thought it was awesome.) I would say that they keep their front-of-house minimally staffed on slower days, so we ended up having to wait a little longer for things, but service was excellent through-and-through, from hostess to server Jordan to staff running food out to us. A minor source of heartburn: I sat at the bar on a Tuesday recently after seeing on both the website and Unilocal that they still have their $ 16.9 special and was told by the bartender that they weren’t running that deal any longer. Then the check is delivered… with the paper insert about the $ 16.9 Tuesday deal. Also, I think the best Bonefish dessert(um yep, eaten all of them on the regular menu…) is the flourless macadamia brownie a la mode with raspberry. It was really dry last time I ordered it here :/Perhaps crème brûlée here? If you’re gonna eat at a chain restaurant, I always recommend making it Bonefish! This one delivers pretty well.

Bonefish Grill is one of my favorite chains hands down. I’ve been to this location on several occasions. We ordered a bottle of wine and our server pulled a full glass instead of a bit to taste at first as is standard when serving wine. No biggie but this is something management should train their staff about. They also bring you fresh hot bread with oil which is always a plus. I can never stop myself from ordering the bang bang shrimp, it’s their best item for sure and you have to have it every single time! If you’ve never tried it, stop what you’re doing right now and make a trip! For my entrée, a tried the single lobster tail with mac and cheese. Solid all around, those two dishes are some of my favorites anywhere so no surprises there. You don’t get a lot of lobster but lobster is expensive so enjoy every bite!

The food was fresh, delicate and delicious. My family and I started out with the calamari. Lightly fried with a sweet chili dipping sauce and a lemon wedge. Delicious. I ordered the Cold Snap Cocktail — Blueberry. This cocktail is served in a glass made entirely of ice. Although not great for a super hot day in Texas, it was as refreshing as ever. It was composed of a house infused blueberry vodka, aged rhubarb liqueur, and lemon with lavender bitters and a lavender stem. After battling a pure ice glass, I ordered the white sangria. Not at great as the Cold Snap Cocktail but it was good. For my entrée I ordered the Spicy Tuna Bowl. It is made up of sesame seared rare sushi grade ahi tuna, avocado, sweet chili sauce, sticky jasmine rice and passionfruit salsa. This was a delicate and refreshing summer dish. I would definitely order this again and highly recommend it! I was left feeling light and satisfied. With an appetizer, this dish can definitely be shared!

This was my first time at this establishment and by the look of the Unilocal reviews, I knew I was in for a treat. The service was equivalent to the service received at a 5 star restaurant, so much credit for outstanding service. The food on the other hand is a different story. Tilipia comes with mixed veggies and your choice of a side. There is a $ 1 upcharge to substitute the mixed veggies for another side of your choice. As you can see, I paid $ 1 up charge for 2 frozen broccoli florets, which was ridiculous. There was an ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes and and the tilipia was dry and salty as hell. I was so hungry after a long day of shopping, I ate it but had plenty of water to help with the saltiness. My hubs wasn’t impressed with the pork chop, mashed sweet potatoes and broccoli, and he eats everything. The only thing decent was the bang bang shrimp, but then my husband’s stomach began hurting on the way home. Would I come back? Not on purpose. You will do better eating a lubys… It’s basically the same thing just a different atmosphere.

As many times as I have driven past Bonefish Grill, on my way to the office, you would think I would have stopped in sooner to give it a try. However, I am usually always on a mission to get to the next appointment, and hubs refuses to try anything he deems to be solely a seafood restaurant. Well this is not, just a seafood restaurant, so eventually, I’ll drag him in, even if kicking and screaming. I have been here twice now for business lunch. I don’t know why other reviewers are complaining about the slow service? Both of my visits I have been in and out within an hour … that’s pretty darn quick IMO. Both visits I have had the lunch combo #3, which comes with either soup or salad, and your choice of either grilled chicken, baja blackened fish, or beef. Both times I’ve opted for the fish. I LOVE that they come on a small wonton shell … so there’s not an overload of tortilla like most places! The fish is tasty, too, and well seasoned! I got the salad the first time and it’s what you would expect. Today though I got the lobster bisque soup and it was ok. I’m not a huge fan of lobster bisque, but it’s cool out and it sounded good! I do intend to go back because I hear they make some bangin’ martinis! And that is like music to my ears!

I’ve been eager to try Bonefish Grill especially after scoping out their menus online. I went today on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I made reservations for 12:30 thinking it would packed. It totally wasn’t. In fact, it was quite empty in there. Service wasn’t as quick as I had hoped in a virtually empty restaurant but it wasn’t too slow either. Our server was very friendly and courteous. No complaints there. I ordered one of their lunch specials. I went with the Roasted Tomato & Red Pepper Soup and two Tilapia tacos. The soup was rich and flavorful. It was drizzled with some kind of cream and some croutons. The tilapia tacos were delicious too. They came with a mango salsa and a crema drizzled on top. Yum! I was SOOOOOOO stoked to see they were serving a seasonal dessert: Pumpkin Crème Brûlée. I saw this on their menu online and absolutely HAD to order it. I’m a HUGE pumpkin lover. When our server came back to the table to tell me it wasn’t available, I must say I was heartbroken. I was VERY disappointed. So I settled for the coconut pie. It was served warm which I liked. It was a rich custard-like pie with whipped cream. It was good but not my favorite. If you love coconut, then you’d probably appreciate it more than I did. My friend ordered the Kobe Beef Burger and fries. And for dessert, he ordered the Macadamia Nut Brownie. He seemed to like what he ordered but he didn’t finish his dessert which is a crime in my opinion. Overall, I enjoyed the food and service. I wasn’t blown away but I’d definitely go back. I want to go for dinner or brunch next time. And I *have* to try the Pumpkin Crème Brûlée! Also the Lobster Grilled Cheese sounds like total decadence.
