Great crispy thin crust. Very very unique specialty pizza choices. Very friendly staff that wear flower head bands and are super helpful. Good place.

I just had an outstanding pizza from here. I ordered half Fenway/half roasted veggies. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I was totally impressed.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Upper Crust today with my husband and a friend. I had the 14 inch margarita with eggplant. Fresh with a thin crust. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. Love the free soda refills too! Clean bathrooms, easy parking and a great street to stroll and window shop after eating. Looking forward to eating my leftovers for dinner! I will be back!

The Upper Crust is hands down the best pizza around! It’s my absolute favorite and I could never turn my back and try another company’s pizza since they just can’t compete! I tend to usually want to try a different pizza every time I order from them but the chicken pizza with a pesto splash is absolutely delicious! The employees have always been friendly and very helpful. I love visiting there and enjoying such an amazing pizza!

I wanted to love this place so much, I remember loving the Upper Crust on Newbury St. I visited here a while ago on finals week with my boyfriend, and it was disappointing. We both got a buffalo chicken calzones. They were reasonable sizes but sort of pricey. When I went to dig in, it did not feel fresh. My chicken felt way to chewy, and tasted frozen. They did not put the love I expected and fell in love with at the Upper Crust on Newbury St.

Best pizza in Wellesley. Good pizza aside the service is a total crap shoot. Sometimes the employees are competent and genuinely friendly but other times they seem to have no clue and don’t care. There definitely seems to be a lack of consistency in the help and I’m guessing the employees get very little or no training from those who are qualified. It’s a shame cus the pizza is very good. ADVICE: if you can pick up rather than have it delivered you’re going to cut down the chance that things go sideways.

Loved Upper Crust in Beacon Hill when I lived in Cambridge. Now that I live in Natick, I thought I’d try the one in Wellesley. On a Wednesday night I placed an online order at 7:11PM. At 7:55PM I called to ask when my order would arrive. After waiting on hold for a while, the kid came back and told me that there was a problem with the online system and the order would take an hour and half to an hour and 45 minutes. Seriously? They obviously never even saw my online order. Cancelled the order. First and last time I will attempt to get pizza from Upper Crust Wellesley.

Every time i order from The Upper Crust, they quote me 45 minutes for delivery. 2 hours later the Pizza has still not arrived. This is the worst place ever!

What a cute find for a random outside lunch in a nice sunny day. Huge delicious grilled chicken salad and great service. Overpriced but expected in the neighborhood

I hate this place. Last time we went, they messed up the order and said it was our fault, that we called the wrong place and that we would have to wait and start a new order. We finally convinced them that the order they had under the same name that was not right was really our order.(We checked our phone that showed a call to their number.). I gave my son a credit card and waited outside(parking sucks too) and they charged him for the wrong order and never apologized. They also guilted him into leaving an 18% tip! Nothing like preying on a kid. Tonight we called to make another order(don’t ask.,). When they told us the price, we asked what was going on. Everything’s was much higher than the website. The guy checked and said they don’t honor the prices on the website. I doubt that’s even legal. They absolutely put themselves and profits first and the customer is treated like crap. Never again.

Great pizza here, don’t listen to all the haters, the sausage and onion is great. Quick in and out and they deliver. Nice pizza guys working the front.

I visited the Wellesley location yesterday a little before 3pm and experienced excellent customer service. I ordered a mini three cheese calzone and it was absolutely delicious AND well designed. I wasn’t expecting such an aesthetically pleasing meal. The employee that created it was very friendly and hand delivered the calzone to my table, and asked me to let him know if I liked it. He seemed genuinely interested in whether or not he did a good job. The female cashier at that time was also very nice and helpful; I did not catch her name. I really appreciated feeling like I had the employees’ full dedication yesterday! I was stranded in Wellesley for a few hours so I decided to grab a bite by myself and it was such an enjoyable experience. That’s all. I love The Upper Crust. I haven’t been much, but this is the third location I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and at every one it felt so personal and like… family owned, rather than a restaurant chain. Companies like to say that they are like that but rarely do I actually feel like they are. These guys are awesome. And what’s better than cheese and bread?!

I’ve been to this Upper Crust multiple times and I’ve never been impressed. This past weekend though, something finally happened. Except it was for worse. I ordered a small specialty pizza to the most unenthusiastic cashier ever. We were told it would be a 25min wait. Sure I can deal with that. It’s dinner time; I expected this wait. 40minutes later and noticing how everyone but our party was being served, even people who arrived after us, we decide to ask about the status. Turns out our pizza was incorrectly marked as to-go or pick up or who knows what, but it had sat in a box this whole time. The cashier handed us our pizza with no apologies and no offer to reheat it. We were so hungry we settled on eating a mediocre room-temperature(near legitimately cold) pizza. I don’t see a point in going back.

One of the positive things about Upper Crust is that they regularly offer Groupons, so if you keep your eye out, you can get a $ 10 for $ 20 once or twice a year. I like their ease of ordering online, with a saved profile and Favorites section, as well as an Order History that makes it ridiculously easy to scan their full menu, create your ideal pizza, and place an order for pick-up or delivery. I like that their local delivery occurs on the back of a bicycle. I am not the biggest fan of their pizza, which(no matter if it’s thin or thick crust, and regardless of the toppings) is incredibly salty and is usually soggier than I prefer, often with a thick, black coating of powdered Something on the bottom. I like their white(no tomato sauce) pizza better than I like their red(with tomato sauce) pizza. I do not particularly like the prices of their pizzas, which feel a bit high. There are some positives about their storefront, like the shiny pizza plates adorning the ceiling as decoration. I don’t like to eat in the store itself, because the chairs are plastic and don’t feel as stable as I’d like. Their salads are very large, and can easily feed two or more people as part of a meal. I don’t like how slow their service can be — whether it’s in person, delivery, or take-out, we’ve had some spectacular failures here; it is not unheard of to wait between an hour and a half to two hours for pizza. There are other places in town to get pizza, so if you ever call and hear about that kind of wait, I suggest you do what I do and call another pizza place. If you Google«Upper Crust Boston Globe,» like I did, you can begin to read about the various labor and franchise troubles the local chain is alleged to be involved with.

I have always been a fan of Upper Crust Pizza, ever since I had my first slice while living in Brookline. Now that I have moved, I still haven’t been to the Upper Crust in Wellesley until last week. What brought me in was the Groupon that I got. I went in last friday with my family at around 8:30pm. My parents were starving, so was my sister and I. The manager seemed very nice and helpful, even though most of the staff there are teenagers. We ordered and was told that it would be a 25 minute wait. We were fine with that… we sat down and started entertaining ourselves with our iphones/ipods etc etc… Even after 10 minutes, the manager that greeted us walked by and was like«oh let me check on your pizzas for you». Up to this point we were still so excited about the pizzas. Until 20 minutes passed by… nothing… 35 minutes passed by… nothing. At around 9:20, I saw one staff person took a pizza out of the pizza box and put it on a metal plate, then served it up. He even said«Here you go! Enjoy!» My mother touched the pizza and said«it’s cold!». Our second pizza showed up, this time a different staff person. He was so honest to say«here you go, they were just sitting there». Um, sitting WHERE? We were WAITING since 8:30, and then at 9:20 you served us 2COLDPIZZAS? Needless to say, the manager went home at 9pm, the 2nd staff person told us he would re-make us the pizzas, and we waited for another 15 minutes before we could enjoy our HOT, CHEESEY Upper Crust Pizzas at 9:40pm. Not particularly impressed by this experience, but I give props to the staff person that remade our pizzas. Next time I think I will go with the call-ahead pick up.

If you’re looking to grab a quick dinner or lunch that isn’t going to break your bank, this is your best bet. For two slices of cheese(on wheat crust, an excellent option) and a soda, the total was $ 8.35. If you think about it, that’s on par, if not cheaper than a sandwich, salad, and drink at nearby places like Panera, Au Bön Pain, etc. The pizza here is the typical Upper Crust thin-crust style. At this particular location, I noticed that the crust seemed thin-ner than other locations. However, it was just as crispy and arrived extra hot out of the oven. This is one of the larger Upper Crust locations in the greater Boston area. There is plenty of space for larger families and groups, as most of the tables seat four people and more. The staff here is extra friendly. The manager who happened to be working that night visited each table and made sure their pizza was up to their expectations. The pizza certainly isn’t the best, but with a friendly staff and reasonable prices for a quick lunch/dinner, I’ll definitely be back.

I have to say, I LOVE upper crust pizza, I mean, I absolutely love it. I have had it from multiple locations whilst living/working in various parts of the city and this is by far the worst location I have dealt with. When you tell me on the phone that it’s going to be 45 minutes to 1 hour for delivery, I understand, it is Saturday night at 6:03, and your pizza is worth waiting for. But when I am still sitting here at 7:10 without a pizza, I am starting to get annoyed. I call to find out where it was, and was told«well it has already left, so the drive should be there any minute.» It did finally arrived at 7:20, cold– I mean absolutely stone cold. to the point where I had to stick it in my oven to be able to enjoy it. I am waiting for it to heat up right now as I type this. I am really pissed off. Words can not describe my boiling rage. This is our 3rd poor experience with this location. I’m sorry, but I can’t order from here ever again. If you decide to, be prepared for it to take a long time, and your level of anger to be high as you eat a cold pizza.
