Very clean pleasant room, very good free breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. Good neighborhood and easy access to I-75. We got a better rate online than we could get at the desk. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

It was a great price, so I wasn’t expecting much. Initially, I was apprehensive about them not having a gym and found the doors not opening automatically to be annoying. But that was it. Everything else about this hotel has been outstanding. They have free beer, wine, Pizza, musicians, and all sorts of great fun going on in the lobby almost every night. Ironically, we were very busy and did not have time to partake much in the fun, but it was very obvious others enjoyed it immensely. We like walking through seeing everyone having fun on our way up to our room. The breakfasts were great. It had the usual eggs sausage pancakes waffles bagels orange juice etc. And was very convenient since we were in-n-out a lot needing to grab a bite to eat. The cleaning staff and front desk staff were super awesome. They always helped us out and were very friendly. Every single one of them was super nice. The rooms were always clean and came with a refrigerator. Great experience overall highly recommend.

Star 1: Clean Comfortable room, and through the auspices of Kayak, one of the cheapest choices in town. Star 2: Safe surrounding neighborhood. The cheapest hotel choices are frequently in the dodgier areas of town… not in this case! Star 3: Climate control pt. 1: outstanding a/c more than sufficient in a hot, humid environment. After recently staying in several places that had far from adequate central air amenities. Star 4: Climate control pt 2: outstanding ice machine, w/spacious fridge In room(and micro-wave). Lots of «nicer», read: more expensive places, don’t have ANY of these amenities. Advantage: Sleep Inn! Star 5: Outstanding breakfast buffet, built into the cost of your night’s stay. The biscuits n gravy In particular are out-freakin’-standing! Easy 5 star choice. Salutes to the staff for a most pleasant stay! I won’t hesitate to either recommend you to friends, or to come back. BONUS: be sure to ask about their Happy Hour… Several evenings a week they have complementary«Taco Tuesday» and other perennially-favored themes. Cheers to Thirsty Thursdays, say I!

I booked this hotel on Priceline as an express deal. I was $ 49/night and I upgraded to a king bed room for and additional $ 2/night. With taxes and fees I paid $ 173 for 3 nights. This was listed as a two star property on Priceline. I normally won’t bid or book a hotel less than 3 stars but I knew Wesley Chapel was a middle to upper middle class suburban neighborhood. I felt that there probably weren’t any really scetchy areas of town. So I felt comfortable that it would be okay for what I needed. Priceline listed typical hotels you would get would be Best Western, Holiday Inn, La Quinta etc. these are all places I am comfortable staying at. I have to say when I found out it was a Sleep Inn I was a little concerned that I should have gone with a 3 star place. I don’t know why but I felt they were a step down from the previously listed brands. When I arrived at the hotel it was in a very convenient safe location. The staff at check-in were really friendly and gave me a list of restaurants and shopping in the area. The room was quite nice and very spacious. There was a microwave, mini fridge and a one cup coffee maker in the room. There was a fairly large LG flat screen tv. Iron and Ironing board in the room as well as a keypad type safe. There was also a very comfy leather desk chair. The bathroom had the typically mini bottles of shampoo and stuff but also had q-tips, mouthwash, and makeup remover wipes. The bed was comfy. There was also free wifi. The hotel also has a pool. I did not use this. It’s fairly small and I don’t know if it’s heated or not. They offer a free full breakfast in the mornings with the typical stuff. Scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, maybe bacon?, make your own waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal packets. I believe they even had a crock pot of gravy for biscuits and gravy. Coffee, tea, juice. I have to say I was really impressed with this hotel and would definitely recommend it or stay here again. I think it really deserves a 3 star rating on Priceline. There really isn’t anything bad I can say about it. The only thing I can really even think of is some of the furniture is a little dated but they balance this nicely with more modern bedding, paint colors, pictures. This is not a complaint at all just an observation and really does not affect your stay. The one thing to mention is the room I stayed in had a shower only not sure if all the rooms are like this or not but is not a problem for me as I prefer to shower over bathing.

Ordinarily I would never stay at this hotel chain but I was on a quick personal trip and needed somewhere cheap and convenient. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel and genuine sincerity of the staff. After a long day, I checked in quickly and the staff even offered me some complimentary drinks and snacks. The room was basic but perfectly fine for a single night stay with comfy bed, good size TV, and clean bathroom. I slept really well and there was even a complimentary cooked breakfast on offer when I checked out in the morning. Karen, who checked me in and out, was fantastic with a warm smile and she even helped me print off my boarding pass on her front desk printer when I left. If you’re looking for a cheap and clean hotel in Tampa, this one ticked all the right boxes.

Not exactly the most beautiful or modern hotel but it looked and smelled clean as soon as I walked in. Lobby was well maintained, stocked and staffed. Staff was friendly. There didn’t seem to be to many families there… mostly blue collar business travelers but then again, this isn’t a family resort and it was a Wednesday. Free hot breakfast until 9am, which is probably perfect for most of their guests, but we slept in the one night we stayed and ate off property after checking out. It’s walking distance from a nice-looking shopping center with a movie theater and a Cracker Barrel(we didn’t go to either though). This is a great place to stay for a night or two when all you need is a clean and affordable place to spend the night. —Ivan
