I was told about Alberts Pizza in Copiage, NY initially and how they have an amazing«Square Pizza» which is called the Alberts Pie. I looked them up here on Unilocal and they had fantastic ratings! When I called to order they directed me to their 2nd location in West Babylon. I was skeptical due to the poor ratings they received on Unilocal… I called and asked if it the same recipe used in Copiage and they said yes and that they were under new management as of a lil under a year ago which cleaned up the décor a bit too. I ordered delivery for an Alberts Square Pie and an order of zucchini sticks. The zucchini was good, but I can’t see any pizza place screwing those up lol The pizza LOOKEDAMAZING&SMELLEDDELICIOUS! I did ask for them to make ½ pepperoni and to NOT sprinkle grated cheese on the pie cuz I hate the stuff haha — the crust was crispy and the dough wasn’t too thick or thin but a perfect thickness. The SAUCE I LOVED! It was thick but NOTCHUCKY& U COULDSEEALLTHESPICESUSED… I personal HATECHUCKYSAUCE&HATEWHENITSTHIN&WATERTOO… So I found the sauce to be ONTHEMONEY! Overall the pizza was great, it’s different than a normal slice or even a Sicilian but I felt it was lacking in flavor(but maybe the grated cheese helps with this?) I would def get it again and to be honest I would get it without any toppings next time too. Until I try the other locations I have nothing to compare it to … But once I do try the original Alberts I’ll be sure to comment and see if it’s just as good:)

It’s right next to the apartment complex were I live so it’s pretty convenient. The staff is extremely nice however my only qurrals with Albert ‘s is the pizza selection they always have square & circle regular pies if you need to grab a slice and leave, but other pizza restaurants I have visited usually have a vast majority of pizza slices to grab on the go. The only other issue I have is the sauce can be watery at times.

First things first I’ve gotten an uncooked pizza delivered to me on 2 separate occasions and on top of that everyone who works there is snotty as can be. and to top it all off I decided to go in there one day out of convenience just to see cockroaches crawling around their kitchen

I’m now a fan of Alberts II. No other pizza parlor will do.(Can you tell I’m from Brooklyn) Grandma pizza is to die for. Pepperoni and Broccoli rolls very tasty. Needless to say my family and I enjoyed our dinner very much. DPA pizzerias you have lost me as a customer. Enjoy your meals!!!

Visiting friends and ordered upside down pie with pepperoni and an order of garlic knots, both were really good, pizza was exactly what I expected and knots were really garlicky delicious. Definitely ordering next time in town.

I stopped by here for lunch on my way through the area. The place was packed with people from the high school across the street. Ordered a pizza for my family of four. Pizza took a while to get. But it was hot and crispy. Sauce was delicious and so was cheese.

This review is specifically for the West Babylon location. We just ordered dinner tonight and if I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I called to place the order & the girl who answered the phone was rude & basically sounded like I was annoying her by simply calling in my order. Fine, everybody has a bad day once in a while, no big deal. We ordered 2 shrimp parm heroes, chicken wings, & a grandma slice. I was told the delivery would take 30 minutes. We waited 1HOUR to get our food, and when we finally did get it ALLOFITWASCOLD. Not only that, but we only got 1 shrimp part hero instead of the 2 that we ordered! I called Albert’s back, asked to speak to a manager and was told that he was«too busy» to come to the phone. So I explained the situation to the girl who answered the phone, who proceeded to shout everything I said to someone in the background. She then told me that I could wait another 45 minutes to have another hero delivered. I told her to keep it. Maybe if the food had at least been decent this place would have been redeemable but it wasn’t. The shrimp parm hero was about as tasty as cardboard. There was hardly any sauce, the breading on the shrimp was slimy & had no seasoning to it at all. The slice was ok and the wings probably would have been pretty good if they hadn’t been completely cold. Needless to say, this was the first and LAST time that we will ever be ordering from this place. There are plenty of other good pizza places in & around West Babylon, don’t waste your time or money on Alberts Pizza.

Adding onto the issues… They told us they would refund the card for the burnt pizza. Not only did they not refund the amount, they over charged us by $ 2. Our receipt said we got charged $ 23.50. Our bank statement says they charged us $ 25.50. $ 2 dollars isn’t a lot of money but if they do that to everyone that pays with a card it will add up. Watch your bank statements if you purchase anything from them with a card!

I don’t like to leave bad reviews for something so local. I’m not impressed. It was okay. It is your average slice of pizza. The place itself is welcoming. Nice and bright and I don’t have to walk through a crowd of people. The staff I have encountered is helpful. I’ll probably keep on coming here for that reason and the fact that the pizza is okay. I also like the ease of parking and how I can go in and out.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, first of all the staff is friendly, but are given no power to make decisions. We ordered a plain pie and it came raw and mush, not edible, we called to get a refund, the staff was told by owner that if we wanted we could bring the raw dough pie at night to show him it was really raw. The long haired owner clearly does not care about his customers, and being locals we will never come back. Disrespectful and unprofessional.

Ordered a sicilian slice w mushrooms and peppers for $ 3.25. The pizza itself was barely lukewarm and soggy, except the crust which was crisp. The cheese was tough but the veggies were alright. My friends didn’t like theirs either. Good service. Bad décor.

Its Different style pizza thats lasted for generations from what I’m Told. I get an alberts meal with my brother which is nice. It includes a pie, soda and a bag of different kinds of knots which always leads to fights between me and him. We have to been in a certain mood for alberts which is only once every 2 months.(on avg i pizza twice a week). So if your looking for a change and want a nice size meal for a good price then go for it. …Deer park location is the worst one…

While watching a family friend’s six month old, my girlfriend and I ordered from here as a matter of convenience. Honestly, it wasn’t good. At all. I will offer this: I did not have the pizza so this review does not apply to the pizza. We were both in the mood for a chicken roll, so we ordered two. First, they don’t call them chicken rolls, but rather pizza pops, which lead to some confusion but whatever, no biggie. WE were told 45 minutes for delivery, which kinda surprised me because it was almost eight and we didn’t order anything that needed to be made fresh, rolls are almost always made earlier and reheated. Anyway the chicken rolls(or ‘pizza pops’…so dumb) got there in about 35 minutes, and they were not very good. We both felt they lacked flavor, and the saving grace was the side of sauce, which was sweet and I thought tasted pretty good. All in all, everything was marginally better than the Chicken Vegetable baby food we fed the six month old.
