Stopped by to try their pizza on Sunday afternoon. It was a bit below okay(hubby and I are a bit of pizza connouisseur) — crust cracked apart and sauce a bit bland. Not sure if their pizzaiola was on a day off.

Just had some Fettucini with shrimp and pesto sauce ordered through grubhub. HORRIBLE– the most bland pasta I have ever eaten. Never again. On top of that they forgot my Parmesan cheese and the breaded shrimp was a 70% bread to shrimp ratio and they left the shells on the tails. Ughh. U don’t do that with breaded shrimp. If u like calzones this is your place. Stay away from the pasta!!! Or at least their pesto sauce. Sorry but I’m Italian and giving an honest review!

So close to home and the Long Island Railroad Babylon train station. Delicious salads, pasta dishes, seafood platters. They make the best calzone in town. It’s been a staple in our village for as long as I can remember. Delivery is lightning fast. They offer bonus points for frequent deliveries which earn free meals.

Stopped there tonight, craving a cheese steak hero. I planned on going to Fat Philly’s across the street, but sadly, they’re closed. Tried Gino’s. The girl who took my order was new — I forgive her for that. But she was clueless about the menu. Took her five minutes to tell me what they normally put on a cheese steak. And yuck — roast beef and AMERICAN cheese. Wrong! I told her how I wanted it, paid, and waited … and waited. Waited almost 30 minutes. Then they apologized — told me there was a problem in the kitchen, because so many Internet orders came in after I ordered. Am I wrong, or should they not take care of the person who is physically THERE, before people calling in or ordering over the Internet? I believe the customer should come first — meaning, the one who is sitting there, waiting. Apparently, I’m wrong. Bottom line — the cheese steak hero was pathetic. The only good thing was the bread. There was about two ounces of meat — total — on a regular sized hero, lots of lettuce, barely any sauteed onions, and no hot peppers, as I requested. Packets of mayo were on the side. It was more like a steak salad with no steak. And I paid about $ 9.50 for that. Never again. Maybe their pizza is good. I don’t know. But if you want a good hero, skip this place and drive to Philly. Blech. I would like my money and time back.

Consistency is key and Gino’s nails it every time. Their food is always fresh and delicious. I usually get pizza, a wrap, or salad and it’s always amazing. Another great thing is that they deliver super quick & their customer service skills are great! Highly recommend this place.

Ordered a gluten free pizza from Gino’s. Not only did we have to wait an hour and a half for it but when it came and I opened the box I couldn’t believe what I saw. The crust was burnt and the cheese was also overdone. I have to say it was the worst Gluten free pizza I have ever had.

I wanted to give this Gino’s location a 2 but since I’ve been here before and the pizza has been good I’ll give a 3 star review… Ordered two of the most tasteless Sicilian slices I’ve ever had. I’m not a health nut but if I’m going to load up on carbs it ain’t going to be with tasteless pizza. They landed in the trash!

Just ordered from Gino’s — we’ve been long time customers in babylon. The food came quickly but it was inedible. The pizza tasted like cardboard and was watery. The penne a la vodka was mushy and needed a ton of salt and pepper just to eat. My kids, who regularly eat SCHOOL pizza, didn’t even finish one slice. They asked why it tasted so bad. Sorry Gino’s…I dont know what’s going on these days there but it’s a huge disappointment for the price.

For years, I had been getting the stuffed meat slice, which is great– the crust is crispy coated with sesame seeds and the filling is just enough that its not going overboard. Last night, after a big snow storm, they were one of the few local places open. They were definitely working hard, something that is very much appreciated. When we got there, they didn’t have any stuffed meat, so we got bacon chicken ranch, which was good, but missing something, I’m just not sure what. We also got BBQ bacon chicken. I wasn’t a fan of the BBQ sauce. Both crusts were nice and crispy, but there wasn’t much substance to them. It was just kind of like plain styrofoam. Since they were the only place open in the area, the kitchen was really backed up, so we were told it would be a long wait for zucchini sticks or mozzarella sticks, so we opted for the garlic knots that were sitting there. They are nice and big, and the dough was good, but they could’ve definitely been made with more garlic. If you’re nearby, I don’t think its a bad choice, but you are probably better off going elsewhere.

Parmesan heroes are pretty good. Ordered a well done pizza and it was WAY under done, no flavor to dough, pizza slice couldnt«hold» its own. Definately disappointing… Customer service is very good, very friendly. Wish this could be our go to delivery pizza place but i would rather do pick up at alitalia any day of the week.

Gino’s isn’t far from my house, delivery is super fast, pizza pies are always cooked to my liking. Right now I’m HOOKED on their Rice Balls! Everything is always fresh. Staff are always busy but always have the time for you as a customer which goes a long way IMO If your in the mood for pizza or something else hit up Gino’s

They have hands down the best specialty slices in the area. My wife swears by the buffalo chicken slice and I love the chicken bacon slice. We recently moved out of their delivery area and we still take the drive to pick up their pizza regularly. Make sure you join their rewards program, we have gotten a ton of free stuff

Great loyalty program! Regular pie isn’t great, but the specialty pies like the BBQ chicken bacon slice is amazing. The wings are good, and the lasagna is decent.

Their pizza is horrible. As are the garlic knots. Pizza lacks flavor– I had to dump a whole lot of garlic, oregano and salt on for it to actually have some flavor. The so called garlic knots are just balls of dough. The sandwiches are ok. I will not be ordering from here ever again.

Gino’s had me in and out of the store in minutes which was great because I was in a real rush! I needed to grab a quick dinner when I got off the train from seeing my friend. Once I got off the train I had about 20 minutes to grab some food and walk to a book signing I was covering for the local newspaper I work for. Once I got in I was checking out the slices and I noticed personal pies. The guy behind the counter explained that they were made from whole wheat dough and topped with cheese and veggies so I decided to take one. I’ve been in a struggling war to eat healthier foods sometimes my cravings win out, sometimes my willpower wins out. Last night my willpower won out. The personal pies were freshly made right out of the oven so it was even better because I was able to snag it quickly without waiting for it to heat in the oven. I also joined their loyalty program. It’s simple, when you visit them you give them your phone number, they have the number on file and as long as you tell them your phone number every time you order you rack up a point for each dollar spent. The points are redeemable for certain pizza or dishes free once you accumulate the required amount of points. The pizza was pretty tasty. The vegetables may have had a lot of oil on them but they weren’t sopping in it either so it wasn’t bad. The whole wheat crust combined with cheese was very tasty, not very salty it had a good flavor to it. I scarfed down my pizza very quickly because I had to get into the book signing which ended up starting later anyway. I would come back here, it’s a respectable and good pizza joint! Plus you can’t beat getting some type of reward for your meal purchases.
