Love this place! The breakfast board is my go-to. Great to hang out and read and have a coffee and some good, hearty(but not greasy) food!

We had never been here before, but were told that they had just reopened after revamping the menu. The menu was very simple, but we enjoyed everything we had. My husband had a specialty item that was toast with avocado, salmon, and a delicious pineapple dressing. It was really original and delicious. Upon request, they also made me a fresh, specialty jam! It was so yummy I could have eaten it without any toast. In addition, we got to meet both the new chefs and the restaurant managers. They were very attentive, enthusiastic, and friendly. For individuals that are hesitant because of past experiences, I would definitely give this place another shot!

This place is something else. I’m baffled by all the five-star reviews. There is always something happening with this place as it’s often closed for«kitchen renovations.» How many times can you renovate your kitchen? Their business hours are all over the place. Inconsistent with the hours of opening and closing daily. How can you be a breakfast restaurant and open at 10AM? My other issue with this place is the dog that roams the restaurant and goes in and out of the kitchen. I believe this is totally illegal with the health department. The dog belongs to the guy running this place and he’s a jerk.

Found this little place for Sunday brunch. The food was great. We had the sweet potato hash with avocado, side of coconut pancakes and the eggs Benedict. Everything is homemade and tastes delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The service is amazing and everyone is so friendly. The place is quaint and has a homey feel. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here for lunch during the weekday with my co-worker. I looked through the menu excited to see a burger, chicken sandwich, Bread and cheese platter mMmMMm! When the waiter came and I was about to tell him what I wanted, he tells us that they had no bread in the kitchen… That means no burger, no chicken sandwich or bread and cheese platter! WHAT!!! They tell me that they have 2 pieces of sandwich bread left and that they can make a burger out of it… The burger comes and the 2 pieces of bread is literally the 2 end pieces of a loaf. It was such a bummer because it actually tasted great! I just didn’t feel like they should’ve served me the last 2 pieces of bread and charge me full price!

Based on several Unilocal reviews and the menu including a waffle that was described as having«vegan banana cream,» I thought a vegan could get a complete meal — other than a salad — here. I was wrong. The waffles themselves are not vegan, nor is the bread for sandwiches. As I recall, both have egg. It appears vegan options are limited to sweet potato hash(not the full meal of course, since that would involve sausage and egg), the innerds of a sandwich with no bread, and salads. It’s always strange to me when places look like they want to accommodate vegans(they did have vegan desserts on their board) but then fail to even have breads for sandwiches to have a real meal. The décor was cute, the server was nice, and my husband liked his chai tea, which he ended up switching to to-go. For non-vegans, it may be great. But, we left before ordering food disappointed.

What a gem!!! Healthy beyond measure and decadent too! You simply MUST have the banana waffle, but don’t miss the breakfast stir fry either … and Lattes that will make you happy. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!

The food is alright, seem to be using good fresh ingredients. …But the $ 25 for $ 20 Unilocal deal was a scam :( Instead of deducting the promised $ 25 from my final total for 3 people(Over $ 100, a bit pricey?) They only took off -$ 5, this means that I ended up paying more, extra $ 15 dollars to be exact, because I decided to purchase their Unilocal deal.(Paid them $ 20 through Unilocal + the entire bill minus $ 5 at the restaurant.) I know should have looked at the receipt closely before paying but I did not. I just trusted them when they said they applied the deal. I live too far to go reclaim my $ in person & they don’t seem to bother responding over email. I know the money is not much, but is the principle!

Such a gorgeous café… Super nice décor, and friendly staff. The coffee isn’t great — but it’s certainly not the worst — and that’s the only reason I had to leave a star off. I didn’t eat here, but the food looked AMAZING! And they had key lime pie — how can you go wrong.

Have been twice and will return! :) Great home made foccacia. Excellent breakfast — delicious sweet potato hash, phenomenal bacon(yes it really is better than any other place) and not only are they incredibly dog friendly with dog treats, and bowls of water but have a menu of food for dogs. The staff is incredibly nice and really go out of their way to make your four legged buddy’s feel welcome. No liquor license but they are BYOB w/no corkage fee.

Okay— so I have been here twice in the past 4 days. It is SO effing good!!! I got the sweet potato hash one day… & my gf got the stir fry. Mmmmm then we shared the yummy coconut pancakes! Today we got the short rib hash & the soup/salad combo… The seafood chowder was delicious! Not only that… But the owner told us it is Dog Friendly!!! We just got a pup two days ago… And it’s good to know that these exist in our neighborhood. Then I noticed the waterbowls and dog treats. :) I’ll definitely be going back… I wanna try the open faced sandwiches. OHHH… And for everyone who thinks this takes a bit… It’s because it’s made to order! :)

Overall a good experience! The food was better than I expected. I’m not normally a healthy eater, especially for breakfast, but my doctor put me a strict diet so my husband and I ventured out to find a better place to eat other than our usual spots. I had the 2 egg breakfast(scrambled) and the sweet potato hash. I was afraid the hash would be too sweet like some sort of Thanksgiving side dish but it was savory and flavorful. I also had the butter coffee(coffee+butter+coconut oil) without agave. It was creamy and good! I don’t normally sweeten my coffee so I was fine with the way it tasted. My husband ordered the regular sweetened butter coffee but he did not enjoy the taste of either version. He prefers regular coffee with cream. I read some reviews that complained about the wait for the food. It does take a little longer than other places and I hope that’s because the food isn’t pre-cooked so they have to actually prepare it, but I don’t know. The staff is very nice and attentive — good service. My husband and I plan on coming back when we are in the neighborhood.

Our server was so sweet and the food was awesome! Found meter parking right in front. I wish I would’ve known there was breakfast all day(we were only given a dinner menu) but that’s an excuse to come back. Really nice service and a delicious meal, great experience!

Incredible green smoothies and the sweet potato hash is to die for. There’s a bit of a wait for food simply because it’s fresh and cooked to perfection. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. The owner provides free homemade dog biscuits for furry patrons. I love this local and cute place with an adorbale atmosphere and very clean bathrooms!

I just found this place this morning and it’s delicious. I had the two egg breakfast with potato hash and the butter coffee. I loved all of it. Also, everything on the menu is gluten-free and organic. It was amazing to be at a place where I could order anything on the menu and be able to eat it. That’s not the norm for me, since I’m a gluten-free person. I love the design of the place and I read some of the reviews about the food taking while to prepare. The taste was worth the wait and the wait wasn’t that long for me. As an aside, I typically put hot sauce on my eggs and I didn’t even ask for it. I didn’t want to mess with the flavors of my meal. It was superb. A great addition to the eateries in this part of town. I plan on becoming a regular there. Keep up the good work!

Came here for breakfast with a couple friends and we decided to sit outside on the patio. Although the weather outside was chilly the gentleman working was very nice and turned on the patio heater for us. When I checked in to Unilocal I immediately was presented with a five dollar off offer which was very nice. Everything about this restaurant was very good customer service cleanliness friendliness and food selection. Again I can’t say it enough the customer service was excellent.

Very friendly staff. Good food. Terrible coffee. The gluten free coconut pancakes with lemon curd was fantastic! Must try. The sweet potato hash was pretty good. Not crazy about the gluten free bread toast. The cold brew coffee tasted like watered down Folger’s on ice. It’s a insult to anyone who likes coffee and the fact they charge $ 4.50 a glass is beyond unreasonable(for this quality). The iced vanilla latte was equally terrible. They were super nice and remade it, but it was still undrinkable. In fairness, the place just opened, so I hope the issues with the drinks were just growing pains.
