Love this place. The salads are huge, I usually only eat about ½ and save the rest for later. All the ingredients always taste really fresh. Pizza is really the best in the arlington/Medford area. It’s a little more expensive, but I feel like you get what you pay for.

The prices have gone up so much. I just paid 28 $ for two salads. I do like their salads but I’m not paying that much. They told me that the prices on the menu weren’t up to date… I didn’t realize that meant they had gone up by 4 $. Too expensive, not worth it.

This place is hit or miss. Either unbelievable pizzas or way-off and sloppy. Tonight was the latter unfortunately. Pretty messy and I feel like I could’ve made this for $ 6. Wild mushroom and spinach had no oyster mushrooms as advertised, and was overloaded with garlic. Crust was nice and spinach was fresh, but for being a wild mushroom pizza it was just poorly executed. I’m from NJ so I have pretty high standards as far as pizza goes, so maybe I’m biased.

The food is good sometimes. But the service is the worst I have ever had. Call ahead and they tell you 20 minutes you show up 30 minutes later and still had to wait 15 minutes for a calzone. Call on the phone and the person on the phone does not even know what honey bbq sauce is or what a chicken kabob sub is. Even was put on hold for 5 minutes to place a order. They will not be getting anymore business from me.

Verbally assaulted for trying to order food. Reported to poilce– they said this is not the first time. I recommend taking your business elsewhere– tough to find a sub shop around here– OH Wait a minute– sub shops are everywhere! Can i get a large steak and cheese with pickles and verbal assault? Toasted please.

I ordered a pizza, two subs, and buffalo wings for pick up. When I arrived only one sub was made, and my pizza did not have the pepperoni topping I had requested. I immediately pointed out the flaw in my order. To my disbelief the man behind the counter started yelling at me! I was completely stunned! He said if I wasn’t happy with«the order I had placed» to «get out». This was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I considered contacting the Medford Police. Stay away, this disrespect doesn’t deserve anyone’s business.

Would give this place no stars if possible. Horrible people and should not be in business. I showed up at 8:26 and they said they were closed. I asked if they were closed then why does the door say they close at 9:00? I was then approached violently by a short guy from the kitchen swearing at me(dropping F-bombs left and right) and also giving me the middle finger. He followed me outside yelling at me in my face where two other co-workers were holding him back. I left thinking this guy is on major illegal drugs and is insane. When I left all I could see is him throwing his hands in the air and waving the bird at me. Pretty funny but sad. Best of luck buddy and hope you get some help because you need it.

Food has always been really good and ergo there a lot but often they mess up orders and when they correct that’s fine But to have them blame the customer who gives them lots of business every week is unacceptable!!! Joe should know better!

Wow surprised to read the negative reviews. I have been going to Joe’s Pizza for a couple years. Once I found Joe’s it is my go to place for Chicken Caesar Salad and pizza. I love the thin crust and their homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing is exceptional. Poor Ryan just had a freak occurrence, probably someone new at the phone and If he had gotten his pizza his review would rock the place.

Possibly the worst service from a small establishment around. They simply lose orders, get orders wrong and don’t really care about it. The pizza? It used to be really good, now it’s just a tad above frozen, IMO.

I really liked this place, very friendly employees, I would go back just for the great service. I got a chicken parm sub and it was delicious, can’t wait to try the pizza which I heard was great!

Never had a problem with food quality but I had a steak and cheese sub last week that was terrible. Bad batch of beef.

Ordered a pizza from these guys tonight and it never showed up. I called them an hour after ordering and was told that there was no order for my phone number and that I wouldn’t be getting a pizza because they had just closed a few minutes ago. Poor customer service.

Pizza is decent compared to similar looking shops. Their ravioli is nothing special but not bad. Where I think Joe Pizza really shines is their consistently good salads. ‘Consistent’ is the key word. I can tell that Joe is a good manager, because the salad always has the same amount of components and the vegetables used are always quality. I moved away recently just as it seemed I was becoming a regular. I will miss this place.

Oh Joe, what has happened to you? 8 years ago you were 5 stars for me. Then we decided to only order from less expensive places. We missed you, so in the past year, we have ordered your pizza a few times and have been so disappointed. Deliveries have been mishandled, with cheese and toppings sloshed to one side. Tonight we picked up and the pizzas were under-cooked, cool, soggy, cheese only partially melted. Our two small pizzas($ 32!!!) are now cooking the rest of the way in our own oven. I’ll pay that much for exceptionally good pizza, but not for what we’ve been getting from you lately. Good-bye, Joe.

Thin crust? Yep, very thin crust pizzas here at Joe Pizza. I loaded up the Pizza Primavera $ 16.95 large with the full maximum of 6 vegetable toppings and was pleased to find a full garden of large chunks and fat julienned pieces of fresh veggies a top the pie, rather than the regular pizzeria speckling of small diced bits scattered about. Sure, it made for a floppy slice and rather soft rather than crispy crust beneath due to the excess moisture of the toppings, but still! It looked impressive, healthy, and yummy. And it was. Onion rings $ 3.25 weren’t the best I ever had, but they were still pretty good and crispy. Improvements would be thicker rings of sweeter onions. Their salads come with homemade syrian bread which was quite tempting to the eye. The Garden Salad $ 6.55(Romaine lettuce mixed with assorted greens, roma tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, red peppers, red onions and pepperoncini) was perhaps entrée portion sized, with solid slices of fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.

Not many options around my friend’s place. Decided to order takeout. Ordered the mushroom and spinach pizza(gorgonzola cheese) — topped it off with some chicken for protein. The actual pizza fell slightly below expectations. The chicken was extremely dry and lacking flavor. Also, barely noticed the 3 different types of mushrooms in the pizza as described in the menu. The crust and sauce was decent.

It has been hit or miss for us. Sometimes the food is solid and others have been disappointing. Could go 2, 4 stars on a given night.

Delicious pizza and subs! I always get a vegetarian sub with cheese. They have a variety of pizzas salads and subs. They also sell steak tips! The only thing is that if you don’t call early or if its busy they can take a while.

I went there once and stood there at the counter without anyone helping me for a few minutes. I walked out and have not been back since… Well some coworkers ordered from there yesterday. I didn’t know that was the same place until after we got our food. Once they messed up the order I asked where this place was and realized it was the same. Makes sense. My caprese salad had very little thinly sliced mozzarella on it.
