Great service and the coffee is outstanding. It’s fun watching them call out the orders and doing the cooking.

Waffle House is by no means a fancy restaurant and it could use some maintenance. That being said, I absolutely loved my visit to this wonderful diner! The food was delicious. I had the waffles with a big bowl of grits and I sure didn’t regret it. Our server recommended that I mix sugar into my grits and that combination was delicious! The service was beyond excellent – our server, as well as other staff, were extremely nice, friendly, courteous, and accommodating! I now understand what people meant about southern hospitality! I can’t possibly praise the staff enough! Thank you! I wish I lived in West Memphis so I could visit this establishment more often!

Well went to Waffle House again this mornin, food was great but the service was not near bout what it was the morning before… I ran out coffee and had to wait while before they finally brought me any … And they talk about stuff not pertaining to business and complain n in front of customers to where we can hear it

On October 2, 2015 my teen daughter and I went to Waffle House in West Memphis, Arkansas and we will never go back. We sat at the counter to the right of the register. There were a total of 4 white people in there, including us. Our server came over and placed a napkin in front of each of us with no greeting or even a smile. She didn’t offer to clean the countertop off, which had what appeared to be salt and pepper on it. I said to her with a smile, «good afternoon,» and she turned her back to us and mumbled, «hey.» We sat there for 4 – 5 minutes with no further service or communication whatsoever. We got up and left. We went to Huddle House where we received excellent service from Angie, who happens to be African American. I left her a nice tip and we walked out with smiles on our faces and bellies full of good food. Racism works both ways and I have no doubt in my mind that had we been African American we would’ve received both a nice greeting and good service at Waffle House.

Well today is my birthday. Staying at the flying J and thought well I’m gonna get my free breaky at Denny’s. Well it took 20 minutes to even get service. By the time we ordered coffee and drinks and placed my order… Never got our drinks !! Anyway point of the story is BAD service… Hence«Let’s go to Waffle House» one xt up!!! We came in here earlier this week and had a three day new server named Constance! What a GEM! She was joking and cracking us up. Today we got the girl that trained her and told her our morning story. She immediately said«Welcome to Waffle House»! Service is great here and they were busssssssy. I had my fav cheesy eggs n raisin toast with hash browns southern style(mushrooms, onion and cheese). Hubby had egg bacon n cheese biscuit with hash brown all the way. Service was great, food was great. Goes to show u free food is overrated. Thanx Waffle House way to go!

«Real» hashbrowns. This is why my husband makes us go here. Ugh. I’m not a fan of the whole Waffle House thing, but I do have to say that this location in West Memphis is the nicest one I’ve been to. And by nice, I mean that it’s clean, the food is edible and there are more than two people working here. You get the feeling that they probably clean the griddle, and you’re not eating grease from 1973, unlike other Waffle Houses, so I give them props for that. Still, it’s pretty joyless boring food. I mean, somehow my cooking is better than this.

Great food, friendly service. This is one of the smallest restaurants I’ve seen. The folks working here make this location a gem. Not a bad choice on the menu either…

It is a Waffle House. Everything is sticky and greasy! Can that even happen at the same time? The food is what you would expect. Just make sure to bring some wet naps with you to sanitize as you leave.

The staff was lots of fun. I found this to be true the last time I visited a Waffle House also. The waffles themselves are just okay. They are a bit heavy and not always cooked until fully browned. The coffee is fresh, and everything is cooked to order. The hash browns were pretty good, but could have been cooked longer also. The bacon was good. Overall, okay. I’d go back though if I were in the mood, or if it were one of the only places around.

All Waffle Houses are structurally the same, so it is the employees that make the difference. I always find them down to earth and friendly here. I’m a fan of the simple diner. Nothing fancy, a little gritty/grimy — but there’s something about it that I like. You can see some crazy patrons here at times, especially in the wee hours of the morning. When I want an inexpensive steak, I go here for the T-bone. I like my hash browns scattered, smothered and diced — thank you ma’am/sir! And of course, it’s the perfect spot for breakfast!

I have been to many a Waffle House, but this one has to be the best I’ve ever visited. First off, the women singing along to the juke box while they cooked was the best start to a dreary Sunday morning. Carolyn, our waitress reminded me of the endearing southern mother I never had. The food came quickly(as always) and was the same quality I expect from Waffle House. The bacon is always done just the way I like it. I’ll be back to the West Memphis location again soon for sure.

This as my first visit to this chain and I have to say that I was impressed! To begin with, I have never seen such awesome restaurant staff. These people were so nice and pleasant and they seemed to really enjoy what they were doing! Now let’s talk about the food: pork chops, eggs and cheese grits. Damn tasty, especially the chops! The loaded hash browns with gravy make a meal on their own! The coffee, while not awesome, did do the trick and woke me up! if in doubt about where to have breakfast in these parts, look no further than Waffle House!

We have visited several Waffle House’s on our trip and have found them to have good food; however, this one was the best! Wonderful pecan waffles, French toast, hash browns w/cheese, and ALL the staff there was super friendly. They all were laughing, having a good time at their job. You can tell management is doing something right! Nothing fancy, just down home good food!

It had been years since I last warmed at seat at Waffle House, but my comrades and I were all hungry after a weekend convention and wanted to fill up before the trip home. They’re a little tricky to get to, going Southwest on the bypass, requiring a loop around and bridge over, but were SO worth the effort. Just as I had remembers, their chicken, eggs and waffles were all super-tasty, and the OJ and coffee helped wake me up. The waitress was friendly, the service was fast, and we all enjoyed a good breakfast for only a few bucks. Great!

Oh shit! I went here on my 21st birthday with my buddy Scott. We brought cups of mixed drinks up in this ghetto fab waffle joint. Let’s not forget Nay Nay. She was our waitress who was nothing less than a great time. We gave Nay Nay a huge cup of Bacardi to get her through her late shift. We wanted her to come party with us but she said she was meetin’ her man after work at 6AM. Shoooooot.
