Parrot Pizza is a hidden gem. I work down the street and frequent it often. Great pizzas but more importantly for me is the healthy meals you can get there. I love their gourmet salads with organic mesclun mix and all kinds of fun fruit and nuts, etc in them, plus great grilled chicken. The salads and chicken are so big I get two meals out of them! Also, I love all the gourmet wraps you can get that are healthy and tasty. I even have them bake the eggplant in one wrap instead of frying it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Also, their pita that comes with the salad is great too!

I had developed the bad habit of going to Whole Foods every morning and buying my meals for the day(healthy but expensive, also inefficient). The arrival of the Parrot Pizza menu in the mail coincided with some bad weather so I figured rather than dig out my car why not give this place a try? Now, I’m not saying that this is tastiest food ever but the pizza is pretty good(many times better than the pizza place near my house) but the value is INCREDIBLE. I can only speak for delivery bu t the amount of food for what you pay is fantastic(okay, coming off my Whole Foods binge maybe anything else would seem like a good value). Specials(no guaranteess that these are still going on): 1. Free large pizza with the purchase of $ 20 or more for delivery 2. Two large pizzas for $ 13.99 In agreement with previous reviewers Kejean(who is 10 and does not type well enough to Unilocal) says that the meatball sub was«yuck». Also Kejean says that the spaghetti and meatballs was good but not as good as the school cafeteria version. That sounds like damning by faint praise to me. Buit still, four stars for great value and reasonable delivery time(even when the weather is lousy). By the way, my Parrot Pizza binge only lasted a couple of months. I have moved on to Trader Joe’s. Say hi if you see me there.

Food is decent but customer service is so bad it’s not even worth it.

Boooo. I wish I could give them negative stars. Their food is not good– the only reason I ever went there was because it was convenient. The manager needs to take some courses in customer service.

Not bad. There really isn’t much to say about Parrot Pizza. I came here last night with my girlfriend because we wanted to try to Chocolate Calzone. Something that you don’t hear too often when you think pizza take-out. I will admit in the two years I’ve lived down the street from this place this is the first time I’ve come here. Mainly because I’ve honestly never heard of Parrot Pizza aside from the menus that arrive with Thursday’s mail. I have noticed the location on my way into work and whenever I dine at The Local. So, what is stopping me from going in? Basically, I don’t really have a big interested when Sweet Tomatoes is juuust a bit closer to me. The staff is very friendly and service was great. I found the place to be well organized and clean but for a Friday night very, very quite while The Local next door was packed with a wait. Would I come back here again? I would like to think so but if I do I don’t think it will be for the pizza. As for the Chocolate Calzone it was definitely a unique sweet treat which was a tricky to cut with pre-plastic wrapped utensils and I had a hard time figuring out if it was made out of pastry or pizza dough.

Id give this place 5 stars, but I mean cmon its not gourmet food. its a really good pizza delivery place! plus ive never seen the inside. BUT the food is REALLY good. I’ve ordered their hawaiian pizza and their taco pizza which were both excellent! especially the taco pizza, i cant stop talking about it! people ive worked with had ordered subs and salads and they were pleased as well. Since Moody St Pizza closed this is our go-to place for lunch delivery now. Also their froyo is pretty good and you get a huge container of it, probably pint sized, and still frozen!

I like Parrot pizza. If you decide to eat inside the pizzeria you will not be disappointed by friendly service. Good pizza — good people. And I agree with the previous review — meatball sub wasn’t great.

Parrot Pizza just opened where Big Poppy’s Pizza used to be. At first I was skeptical because we got a menu in the mail with«stuffed shell’s» on it. Incorrect apostrophe usage saddens me, but I decided to give them a shot anyway. I’m really picky with my pizza. I like Neopolitan and/or NY style with a thin crust, so I was initially disappointed when I saw that Parrot Pizza had a moderately thick crust. However, it was not so bad! I think Sweet Tomatoes is better, but the Parrot Pizza was decent for what it was. And it’s cheap, too. It’s certainly not my favorite(I prefer Upper Crust and Sweet Tomatoes) but for what it is, it’s fine. It’s better than some of the horrible Greek pizzerias around here with doughy crust and tangy sauce. I tried a meatball sub as well, which wasn’t great. The meatballs were bland and a little dry.
