First time the hubby & I ate here. I’m so happy we did! I had the Surfin Bird, Hubby had the Santa Cruz. We were both skeptical about cream cheese inside our sandwiches but the combo was delicious. On the pricey side but well worth it. Sandwich was huge and the beach theme décor was a nice touch.

Love everything about the food, only drawback is that anytime you try to call in an order there is a 70% chance the phone will not be answered.

First time here, sandwich was so good I forgot which one I ordered, it had me in a trance. All I remember is it had no cream cheese, and it was drizzled with Italian dressing. Added alfalfa sprouts. I’m tellin ya’ll, it was the truth and loaded with meat, nothing like a subway sandwich. Don’t cheat yourselves, treat yourselves. Cool staff too by the way.

I came here at a non busy time and they were still so slow. I called ahead exactly to avoid this problem and they didn’t answer. When I arrived I just see the 3 people there talking and hanging out, with the phone ringing in the background

Beach Hut Deli never lets me down. Their sandwiches are top notch reguardless of what store I go to, and the fact that they sell beer is just a fantastic added benifit. While the sandwhiches may be a little more expensive then other establishments, it is more then worth it when you see what kind of portion and quality in meat you get for that cost. Everything always tastes great and the environment is quality as well.

It is a very small location and can get busy at lunchtime. Not good for groups. Has maybe a 20 person capacity with additional outside seating. Service here has been generally good. Ingredients are fresh but it is horribly expensive to eat here for just a sandwich. I cost me $ 14 for a sandwich and potato salad with no drink. For that, I can get a whole dinner elsewhere. I come here once in a blue moon for a different choice but definitely not my first, second, or third choice based on price/value. It is just okay.

Cannt believe two KIDs meals coast me $ 17.44 when telling them other locations only charge me $ 10 for that they didn’t care, so why would the workers even bother to ask is everything OK… Hint hint management !! B

If you’re going to advertise you stay open til 5 then you should stay open til 5. I would love to have a delicious sandwich from them but I can’t because their hours are horrendous. Togos here I come.

I don’t know what people are talking about, but this was a great location and delicious. The manager was super helpful and friendly. The staff was great. I will be back!

Absolutely terrible location! Prices are horrendous and they skimp on meat! Avoid this place. Jimmy John’s is far superior!

The fact that I just paid $ 18 + for a sandwich, makes me want to review myself and give myself a 1 star. Who the hell charges $ 18 for a sandwich, the waitress wasn’t even that good looking. I feel like I am being punked! Don’t waste your hard earned money go someone better for the money!

Honestly, the food is amazing! However, the amount of time it takes to order and receive your food is a little ridiculous. I’ve been to this location several times and have waited more than 30 for my sandwich on several occasions. Although the employees are kind, I wish they would pay attention to how slow the service is.

Tried this place out since we were in the area and friends recommended we go. Wait wasn’t bad when we showed up around 1pm on a Saturday. Sandwiches are pricey, start at about 7 bucks. I got the shark bite and the wife had one with pastrami on it. It was a challenge at first trying to eat it but smash the sandwich down so you can get a bite of everything. Great flavors and the second time I’ve had a sandwich with cream cheese on it. Wish the price was cheaper. Like the atmosphere.

Best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Great quality, the Santa Cruz is a treat everyone should enjoy. I’m giving it three stars not to say that the food is bad by any means, but there are two things that make this almost unbearable to come back to. First, it’s the prices. I’ve had the large and it cost me $ 17, the medium was $ 14. The sub is definitely stacked and will leave you full, but I can’t justify going back to this place on a fast-casual restaurant. I’ve only been twice to this location because it breaks the bank. I might as well go to Chilis and get some service out of it. Second, it’s the health aspect of it. From both experiences I’ve noticed they don’t wear hairnets, beard nets, or gloves. I haven’t gotten sick from the food but the fact that I don’t constantly see them wash their hands on ready to eat food and the possibility of a chin pube on my food grosses me out. The location is small as well but their happy hour is awesome. This location doesn’t keep me wanting going back on a regular basis, but believe me when I say the food is fantastic.

Well I decided to give this location another try because I was in the area and the food is just so amazing… I’m glad I did. The cashier today was so awesome! She was patient and cheerful. She recommended beers for us to try that would go along with the sandwiches we were having and it was the perfect meal. The sandwich itself hasn’t change and I hope it never does because it is the best thing I’ve EVER tasted. The bread is like a little slice of heaven. The only reason I can not give this place 5 stars is because again, the people making the sandwiches have no hairnets on, they do not wash their hands in between cleaning tables and that is just unacceptable. The first time I came here there was a girl making my sandwich with a hair tie on the wrist that was full of HAIR and no gloves along with a hand full of rings that carry lots of bacteria. Today, again, there was a man making my sandwich with no gloves and he rocked a huge beard, with again, no hair net. I’m sorry but the thought the at any point his beard hairs could fall into my food, grosses me out. Overall, the food deserves 1million stars but I will continue to be hesitant to visit this location due to the unsanitary conditions and carelessness of the owners when it comes to ensure that the employees are properly dressed with the right wardrobe to make FOOD! It seems to me that they care more about having a handsome image than a clean one and for that, I give 3 stars. Again, the food is amazing but even the best food in the world is not going to be good if you get sick from cross contamination. I hope the owners read this and make some changes, if that happens, there’s no question that I will give 5 stars and a recommendation to my peers. Until then, in my opinion, Beach Hut Deli deserves three stars, and I probably will not recommend this establishment.

Beach Hut was pretty good– their veggie sandwich was a decent size and loaded with fresh product, but it was pretty pricey and very messy to eat. It also took a while to make so I wouldn’t suggest going if you are in a hurry.

Customer service is bad. It’s like an episode of bar rescue. My impression was that a few college kids bought a franchise to make it their own personal hangout. A circle of friends hangout on the far end of the entrance to socialize. The customer is definitely not the priority. Cleanliness is also not a priority. A big garbage can full of garbage next to the sandwich making stations. Microwaves open and exposed with left over bacon for all to see. Sandwich was $ 29 including tip for 2 medium sandwich. The sandwich was decent but the price doesn’t justify quality of the sandwich.

I’m a fan of the surf themed sandwich shop. I’ve never visited during happy hour but being there makes you just want to have a beer. My siblings and I frequent Beach Hut Deli but at different locations. I came here with my fiancé(his first time) and he thought it was scrumptious. We ordered a large Woody to share — Hot roast beef, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, Tabasco, Bulls-Eye BBQ sauce, bacon, mayo, onions and lettuce. He is now also a fan. The bread is so soft, the roast beef is warm and the cheese just melts in your mouth while the bacon gives it a nice crunch. The sandwiches are huge and priced around $ 13 for the large. I think it’s a good deal since it can easily feed two people. Service can be slow since they really handle your sandwich with care and there’s usually only about 3 staff working. I’ve never had a sandwich made sloppy here — ever. At every beach hut deli I’ve been to there’s very limited seating so it’s not good for large groups unless you don’t care if you sit together. :)
