Service is very poor. When the dosa finally came out after a long wait(25 minutes) it was already cold. Rest of the food came after another 10 minutes. All of the dishes were very tasty though, but the service experience made the experience bitter. I think we would consider for another time, but may be order ahead of time. The veg fried rice was really good, and so was the malai kofta. We did not know that that an entrée comes with one plain naan as well — that is good.

My kids never eat Indian food but they eat the food at masala café. They have a great variety of dishes. My favorite is chicken tikka masala and biryani. Very well made, clean place, good service and friendly staff.

Food was ok but they take forever to bring it to you. Most of the times I had to remind them what I had ordered. they had forgotten about it. People are sweet but apparently overwhelmed. The place is expensive & the menu is very limited. I wouldn’t give it more than 2.5 stars but there’s no option for it!

I went here couple of times and had the same bad experience, they are very very slow in providing the service. Both the times, they at least took about an hour to get the order served. Food is ok but is not worth for the price. I would never go back again.

Wow! This place is fantastic. The staff and owners are very friendly. The entire place is very clean and the food is delicious! My husband ordered a chicken dish — I forget the name but it was the peppery, cumin version. I got the non-veg thali plate and it was so good! Both of us got perfect portions of food and walked out very satisfied. We will definitely be back!

After along time, decent Indian cuisine on Route 9. Food tastes authentic, good portion size well price. Take out time on a normal time is little long, need to see how they can handle during rush hour. Worth a try. Will be helpful if the online menu is accessible on all platforms(seems to have some flash related issues).

Good ambience and great customer service. We liked most of the stuff we ordered — Dosa and Biryani were really good. Will definitely come back for more.

Went here after raving reviews from a friend. Had non veg thali and paav bhaji. Both highly mediocre. Non veg thali had just a tiny portion of chicken curry and egg curry with half an egg. Food was simple, less spicy and less oily. But nothing that will make you want to visit again. The entire thali experience was much like home made pot luck food. Couldn’t find a theme. Felt like a jumble of too many items mistakenly put together. Pav Bhaji was just potato bhaji. Has a huge room for improvement. Can certainly be improved by a pinch of Everest paav bhaji masala. Ambiance was great. Maybe the best in neighboring Indian restaurants. 5 on 5 to the service too. Please improve the taste. We will definitely give you a second chance.

Quantity — Very less Cost — Very high Service — Not organized Taste — Average Quality — Not upto mark Ambience — Good Five of us(2 Adults + 3 kids) went there for lunch on 12⁄10 and spent close to $ 85 and still was not enough. Right from ordering food to getting the food was not organized well. Quality of food, cutlery used was below par. Taste of the food was average. Quantity of the food is very less. Cost is very high considering the cost and self-service plus material that is used. They missed some of our items and we had to go remind couple of times. Veggie Thali was disaster, 2 scoops/spoons of brinjal currey, 2 scoops of dal, little bit if a fry, some tasteless desert, dried rice and 1 naan costs around $ 10 with tax. Every other item we ordered(3 varieties of dosa and one chicken biryani) were around same price and very less quantity. If the owner(s) of restaurant were to buy this food with same price from some other place what would they do? Looking at number of other restaurants(Indian + others), variety of food, price around this restaurant I am not sure on what basis they priced their items. Every item is priced double. If they did not realize this yet I feel sorry.

While waiting for my order I read some of the negative reviews previously written which put a little doubt in my decisions. I was proven wrong and had a great experience here. First of all the staff is very kind. The restaurant is clean. The food quality seems well prepared and the food was very tasty. We ordered spicy instead of medium. It felt too hot for me. Next time I will order medium spicy and I like and eat spicy food. I don’t write many reviews and wanted to write this to be fair to this new 2 week old restaurant. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I’m sure like any new establishment, they too needed to work out some quirks.

We had takeout and were very pleased with our meal. We have been searching for some great Tikka masala and found it at Café Masala. The owner could not have been nicer. We look forward to eating here again soon. Tip: use their online ordering system for a quick and painless transaction.

I went yesterday i.e. 11/20/2015. There were apparent signs of unpreparedness but overall the staff showed earnestness to get their act together. We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Paneer Dosa, Puri and Vada. First things first, their Sambar is really good. Like back home in Dakshin Bharat. They gave three types of Chutneys i.e. Coconut, Peanut and Tomato-Ginger. All of them tasted good. Except the Puris everything was well done. Please avoid puris as they were not fully fried and the flour was still raw. The Korma given with puris was good though. We also had Madras filter coffee it was good but the price tag of $ 2.99 was a bit high. They might consider to reduce it a bit. All in all a decent new restaurant in Westborough area and a good addition for pure vegetarians like me.

Decent enough in Westborough area. Ordered Hyderabadi Dosa and Chicken 65, both of them are good. Sambar which came with Dosa is exceptional, reminded me of authentic South Indian Food.
