Pizza Cucina

I just want readers to know something! I am a pizza snob and I LOVE PIZZA! This place is great and you may ask why… basically the slice was perfect and all the spices hit the palate all in the right places.(Sesame Seeds on crust a plus) I sense that all the ingredients were picked fresh and the flavors were all there. I have not tried the pasta but I will be back for more.

Great pizza place, and delivery with GrubHub was fast and convenient during the dinner rush. Pizzas arrived hot and was soooo good. We got the meat lovers (minus chicken) and a white pizzas, both large. The meat lovers had a great red sauce, cheese, and perfect greasy red meats generously portioned on top for enough in every bite. The white pizza also continued the theme of generous portions of ricotta and white cheese. Both pizzas had a nice crisp crust with a nice bite. Overall recommend and with the ease of delivery option, will try again!

My coworkers and I always order from here. The food is good and affordable. I ordered the chicken parmigiana hero and the garlic knots with melted cheese. So amazing.

As far as pizza goes, they are good. Not the best but they will do if your favorite pizzeria isn’t open or you aren’t nearby. They are fast with delivery and their staff is really nice. My husband and I usually order their chicken wings, fries, and garlic knots. My absolute favorite thing on their menu is the melted cheese garlic knots with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Very tasty and satisfying.

Ordered through EAT24 and they never showed up. Waited an hour and a half and nothing. Will never order from them again.

This place is a top of the line small business. It has amazing food, service, and employees. Highly recommend this place to anyone living in the westbury, east meadow, carle place area.

I ordered a white pizza with broccoli, bacon, basil and tomatoes and garlic knots with extra marinara and it was AWFUL. I was told the order would arrive in 45 min which it did but arrived ice cold. Was it sitting in the car for 40 of the 45 min?! I also asked for the bacon well done and I think they put on slabs of ham instead or something, it was gross. I wanted the plain garlic knots and those also came stone cold, covered in cheese and no sauce. It basically tasted like a cheese covered dried out biscuit.
This order was horrible in every way and I am upset I wasted my per diem on this! Never again…

I’m originally from NY but currently reside in California so as soon as I landed at jfk all I wanted was a slice of pizza. I ordered it to my hotel and when it arrived it was cold. I called back and the owner was so apologetic and understanding. Within 15 minutes I had a new hot pizza in my hand and it was AMAZING. Everyone makes mistakes, the way mistakes are handled is was makes a business successful or not. Couldn’t have handled it any better. I definitely recommend this place and plan on ordering again before I head home!

I have been seeing signs for Atomic Wings crop up here and there recently and wanted to try them. Last night coming back from a weekend away gave me the right opportunity. I located this store about 15 minutes from my home and ordered over the phone. The location is actually a pizza parlor that does wings but I had tried Atomic Wings years ago and thought that they would have a leg up (chicken joke!) on other local wings. As a SUNY Buffalo grad I might be a slight wing snob. Wings are very much like pizza in that all pizza is OK but great pizza is very hard to find. I am also a pizza snob.
Anywho the wings were packed up and waiting for me so I was in and out. I pulled out one wing for scientific purposes to try it hot. I have to say they are above average. I did one order hot and one of medium and the guy behind the counter was nice enough to give me a small container of the hotter than hot sauce for dipping.
Final result — were they good enough to make me forget Buffalo for good, NO. Are they good enough to drive 15 minutes and satisfy the need for a decent wing when the urge strikes, big YEAH!

It’s usually a safe bet that there are no bad places to get pizza. After all, it’s New York! There are, however, mediocre places and I would rank Cucina in that category. We ordered a Sicilian pizza, half with meat and half with veggies. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The sauce lacked flavor and so did the cheese. I won’t likely order again from here because there are many other options to consider…

Came in here after a very hard day of shopping on old country road. Didn’t look like much from the outside but boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised when I got inside.
First off, the customer service is amazing!!! Everyone there was warm and friendly. The food smelled amazing! We ended up getting the 9.95 large pie and 2 fountain drink special. We also ordered an order of the atomic wings. EVERYTHING was delicious and cooked to perfection.
They even brought it to the table for us!!!
2 thumbs up!!!
