If Beyonce inspires you to spend too much on poorly-prepared small portions of corporate fare that doesn’t even approach expectations, this is your place. I’ve been to several Red Lobster locations and while none rate highly with me, this one is the worst. I’ve given it several tries and the result is always disappointment.

Of all the chain restaurants in all the world, Red Lobster remains my favorite of all time. The Westland location of the Lobster is my Home Stadium for the chain and it is a damn good one. 5 stars easily — here’s why Service — A+ The staff knows their menu and are always on point with refills. There is always food in my face at all times. Wait squad’s always checking in, «Is everything okay?»; I’m like«Hell yeah playa, bring me a third basket of them Cheesy biscuits!» Ambience — The place is well cleansed, dishes clean, carpets clean, silverware and glasses — spotless. Plus they play that song«Brown Eyed Girl» that makes me want to sing along to. They also play Jimmy Buffett. Any place that plays Jimmy Buffett is fine by me. Biscuits — You know… Appetizers — Lemme speak on the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. Going to the RL w/o getting these is like going to Cedar Point and not going on the Blue Streak. It’s instant pleasure. Salad — It’s a salad, how can you mess that up. You’ld be surprised at how many chain restaurants can screw it up. Red Lobster??? The Sidewinders here never ever have made me a bad salad. I like mine with extra ranch. I have good metabolism and I’m Scotty FN Franchise… I can do whatever the F*** I want. I love their salad and dressing, so dang good.(Plus ranch on them Jesus buscuits are an amazing combo) ***I call them Jesus buscuits cause they are so good, you’ll be praying for more*** Soup — I’ve had their chowder and I’ve had their gumbo and there can only be one winner… Me — I loved them both. Beverages — Them Cobras at Red Lobster make a fine Lemonade! And they always refill them when you are done. They also have can you lose pilgrim? Entrees: Fresh Catch — They have lots of fresh fish that is very tasty. If you love fish like I do, you will be pleasured through the mouth. Chart Your Own Course — I usually do this. With this option, you get to pick 2 to 3 items from a list of like 8 things and create your yummiest combo. I actually usually pick 4 – 5. I’m a big boy and that’s how I like it. I’ll get the shrimp pasta, scampi of course, and another item like salmon or maybe upgrade to a steak. I always add on snow crab legs as an extra for another $ 8, especially if I’m on a date for performance.(I pump real good after eating yummy crab). My favorite item of all time was Cajun Shrimp Pasta… they have cajun Chicken Pasta, but I’m not a big Chicken fan, cluck that, I prefer shrimp over chicken. Maybe I will try to order that somtime and let you know. If it was on the menu, there would be 6 Unilocal stars and Red Lobster — Westland MC, Cedar wood planked Original would get it. Sides — If you like Baked Potatoes, dont come here(If it’s opposite day). Red Lobster does the best baked potatoes!!! The salt on the side enhances the already tasty treat. Oh my GAWD writing this review is making me salivate. Those boas at Red Lobster also make a solid cole slaw and mashed potatoes and broccoli. Deserts — Those Pythons at Red Lobster make a nice looking desert. I have never tasted one, but if their Trey’s and Teezers are anything like their sweets, than these Diamondbacks got it right. I remember sitting behind a couple and they were making pleasing noises about how their sweet treat tasted. I might have to try it sometime. I bet it’s so good that Unilocal might have to go to a 7 star system. Final Analysis — Easily 5 Unilocal Stars and 9 Scotty Stars! If a date brought me here, then well gurlllllllll, hopefully you won’t be walking a lot tomorrow bruh… Scotty Franchise will make DANG sure that any gal who takes me here gets hers!!!(and by that, I mean a romantic walk anywhere in the USA; what did you pervs think I was talkiing about, hitting that clam???) PS — You gotta hit that clam(chowder) on a cold day, it’s tasty and filling. Westland location Final Rating — 1,000,000 Unilocal Stars + Dallas Stars, + Netflix and Chill with a viewing of «The Fault in Our Stars», + a book reading, also«The Fault in Our Stars», 5 episodes of «Dancing with the Stars» + Star Jones + a 5 year subscription to Star Magazine + WWE Raw’s Main Event… Johnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Ceeeeeeennnnaaaa vs. STARdust and 5 extra stars, just for Jimmy Buffett music. Moral of the story — I reccommend this place :)

Service was horrible! We were here for 2.5 hours and food was cold. I remember when I enjoyed eating here. Save money and eat Long John Silvers. Same quality anymore.

Everyone at the table had the Endless Shrimp and we all thought it was good. Our waitress was very attentive which made the visit nice. However, I’m not sure if the whole restaurant smelled or if it was just the area that we were seated in, but it was a bad smell. I think it may have been the smell of dirty carpeting because there was a horrible odor. It was so bad that I wanted to get up and leave but since I was with others I just decided to stick it out. But I can definitely say that I won’t be going back there because of that odor. Would I recommend this place? Although the food was good the smell was a BIG turnoff so I would definitely not recommend this particular location.

We were kindly greeted as we walked in and had to wait less than 5 mins to get seated. All though it was busy and all, we were understanding about the waiting after being seated. Let’s start by saying best service I’ve had at any red lobster. My waitress(Geri) made my night with her wonderful attitude and perfect service. The food was great as always. Bread baskets came out just after the recent one finished, drinks wouldn’t reach to empty before they got refilled, and waitress was so thankful for everything. New favorite location just for great service. Thank you Geri!

amazing service! we came here on a saturday night, about an hour before closing time. our server bryan was the best server we have had in a VERY long time! he was attentive, and showed that he cared about us as guests. he made sure to check in on us and made sure everything was great, the minute we ran out of something he was on top of it. he also made sure my boyfriend cut into his steak to make sure it was cooked the way he wanted. he even made it a point to take the steak back to the kitchen when he noticed it wasn’t cooked as instructed. most servers would turn their nose up at the thought of a customer saying their order isn’t correct, but he insisted on taking the steak back. that is awesome service, and because of that we will definitely make this our go-to spot when we want red lobster! not to mention; the Caesar salads and biscuits were so fresh! sometimes you can’t get a good meal when restaurants are getting ready to close for the day. and if you decide to order an appetizer, go with the lobster artichoke dip, you won’t be sorry.

Meh, came here the last few times again… Most of the servers are careless and annoying. Other than that the foods still good

Only bad red lobster I’ve been to. Crab legs were way over cooked and crusty. Couldn’t eat them.

I have been going to this Red Lobster since I was a small kid. The food is always good and the manager always comes out and give us a friendly smile. I love the biscuits. Heck, I take my kids there just to eat the biscuits and they love to watch the lobsters in the tank. The food is always great. My meal always includes a baked potato, and some sort of shrimp dish. I also adore the chocolate wave cake. It is covered in frosting and chocolate chips. Yummy! I recommend going during non peek hours. This place can get crazy after work hours and on the weekends.

This is my favorite red lobster to go to. Every time I go I never walk out feeling like I didn’t get enough or was food not cooked correctly. If you do go ask for the waiter Keith. He is an awesome waiter and always makes me and my friends feel welcome.

A coworker and I went in for lunch today to partake of the Lobster Festivities! I ordered the Rockport Stuffed Tilapia with green beans and wild rice pilaf. The fish was cooked just right, and the stuffing added a perfect crab flavor. The creamy lobster topping set it apart. The rice was well prepared, and the green beans crunchy and good. Service was great, and I made sure to commend our server, Thomas, to the the manager. He was very knowledgeable on the dishes and made sure we had a great experience. Maybe the only downfall would be the cost, at ~$ 19.00 for lunch it’s a bit much, but we don;t do that often so what the hey!

Red Lobster is usually a decent place to get seafood, and I like to make a lunch trek here every couple of weeks or so, but there were so many issues during our last visit that I will have to stay away for a bit. I’m sure I’ll come back, as it was probably just one of those bad days. Let me share my experience. We showed up on a weekend day at 2PM. No wait, which was nice, but it probably took 10 – 15 minutes to get a drink order in due to a short wait staff. The hostess finally came over and took it for us. Our waitress finally made it over, and food was ordered(Which went well except for being out of trout). Quick side note: At that point we were told they were out of biscuits at the moment, but some would be coming out of the oven very soon. In my experience, about half of the time when you hear that they come out just undercooked. I assume that is because they are pulled early to get them out. That wasn’t the case this time, but they did seem to lack butter and were dryer than normal. A second batch later came out the same way, enough that I didn’t want to take the leftovers home. The salads were good, except when my young daughter found a hair toward the bottom of hers. She was done eating and full by that point and it did look a bit like her hair so we decided it could have been and let it go. The rest of the food took a long time to come out. It was almost 3PM when it showed. The food was good, until when we were almost done eating my wife discovered a hair under her salmon. She was not pleased at all. We determined that there must have been a hair net malfunction going on in the kitchen, as twice in a meal is a little much. Not wanting to wait another hour to get another salmon, and knowing mistakes happen, she let that go too. At this point we were full and just wanted to leave. As I said before, I’m sure I’ll be back in the future when I crave some seafood again. Hopefully it was just a one off fluke and my next visit will get a better rating.

Red Lobster’s food is always tasty, I’ve loved it for years. The service is what gets ya, as it did on our first — and last — visit to this location. Forgotten condiment? No worries, it happens. The whole restaurant is out of croutons? Didn’t come for the salad, I can live with it. You forgot to put in our appetizer? That sucks, was kinda looking forward to that. I don’t think the waitstaff should clean the floor and the table with the same rag… but there it is. The waitress was kind, the food that we did get was good, but this experience wasn’t the best.

We tried the Lobster Fest again(on Valentine’s Day) and were very happy with our selection. I had the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake for the third time in as many years and it was better than the first two. The Lobster Tail was not an overly large serving, but it was cooked perfectly. The shrimp and scallops were a good size and delicious. I also enjoyed the mussels and the linguine noodles it all was served on top of. My Wife and my Mom went went their more standard favorites of Crunch Fried Fish and the Crab Alfredo, which were both excellent. This visit put our local Red Lobster over the top. 5 stars and I’ll definitely be back. Lobster Fest… Oh Yeah!

At Red Lobster at least you know what you are going to get. The seafood is decent. but as usual a bit overpriced. If you like fried fish and shrimp and drinks with umbrellas and whipped cream this is your place. Don‘t expect much in the way of ambience. just your basic chain.

The Crimson Crustacean is the epitome of a chain restaurant. However, they are rather pricey for what you get. The service at this location is excellent, once you are actually seated. The wait at peak times, however, can be rather long. Their salads are fresh, and the menu is varied enough to suit even those who do not like seafood. I’ve always found the cheddar bay biscuits to be FAR too salty, and that has not changed. I DO mourn the loss of my favorite menu item, which was the seafood fondue. Whenever we drive by, the parking lot is always full. Inside, people appear to be happy and satisfied. They do have a full bar, and some of the signature drinks are quite good. It’s a good place for groups, but since they do not take reservations, it may be a long wait for a table.

Went to Red Lobster Friday night(3 – 18) to celebrate my wife’s birthday… We got there at 6 and there was an 1 hr 20 minute wait. Well, we decided to wait as RL is her favorite, and ended up getting a table in 50 minutes. Our server, Brian, was prompt, and quick with drinks and bread. Needless to say, at the end, he was probably the best server we ever had. He kept the bread, drinks and whatever we needed, coming quickly. If everything was like him, it would of been a 5 star night. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to it. My wife got the steak and shrimp, ordered the steak medium and he came out like a shingle. Brian let us gnaw on the steak while he had them cook a new one, so we waited for that approx 10 minutes. My MIL had the haddock and it had quite a fishy taste, more than usual, which upset her stomach, so we sent the entire plate back and she ordered something else which was just«ok». My kids chicken tenders and fries came out fine, of course, the easiest to make. LOL I ordered the from the Lobster Fest menu, and got the Bay harbor Lobster and Shrimp Trio. The shrimp were delicious, but the lobster tail was over cooked and rubbery. The Parmesan lobster and shrimp bake was to die for however. Unfortunately, the Broccoli and Potatoes were so overdone, it tasted like they were cooked early in the day and left at the bottom of the warmer… So, outta 5 stars, my dinner got a 3… The bill came to $ 70 for the 5 of us, which ain’t bad, but I was really hoping for more from this Big Box Seafood place. Like I said, Brian was the main bright-spot of the night, and of course, the Cheddar Bay Biscuits never disappoint…
