Bang for buck, period. Similar to other places that do this. Not Mongolian at all, and not as showy as the competitor when it comes to preparation.

We love Mongolian BBQ… this is not it! Poor service, little or no recipe cards to help create great dishes. Frozen flavorless meat with sauces that may be influenced by Asian spices back lack a true flavor profile! We won’t be back

Such a fun and casual atmosphere with yummy food. We were also pleasantly surprised with kids eat free Wednesday!

We stopped by this location while on vacation. It is always hard to find low carb Mongolian grills since most only come with sugary sauce selections. We loaded up two bowls, one with an assortment of veggies and the other with piles of chicken, pork and beef. We then ladled on some garlic oil, sesame oil, chili oil, ginger and garlic broths and walked over the the grill to watch our food be prepared. Within minutes our food was cooked to perfection. The steamy pile of stir fry was quite delicious. You can go back for more, but one trip was more than enough for us, even without the noodles or rice. I should also mention that everyone working here were quite friendly. The server chatted with us and explained how everything worked since it was our first time. Refills came quickly and overall, he was super nice. The gentleman working the grill was also friendly and very efficient.

It’s just so yummy. I love that I can create combinations and watch them cook it in front of me. If you get a coupon, its a great value too. Great for kids too as they are free under a certain age.

I used to live in Fort Collins and we would go HuHot a lot. It’s been a while since I’ve had it and it’s still good! We came in for lunch for $ 9.99, it’s a very good price! It’s kinda like a buffet. Everything is raw and pretty much you choose meats, noodles, veggies, and sauce that you want to stir fry the dish with. You can mix and match the sauces or there are specific sauces that you mix to get for instance pad Thai, Kung pao, curry and etc… Then you bring it up the chefs and they cook it for you. However I wouldn’t recommend getting anything on the menu, it’s not good at all. I got the hot and sour soup and it was awful. But I guess for the price you pay is what you get.

Good, it’s a pretty good place to go. But plates are very small and waiting in line for 20 minutes makes seconds impossible unless you want to be there for two hours. The meat is partly frozen and the vegetables are abundant but it really comes down to the small plates and the sauce section is a sticky mess

The restaurant was clean and orderly. The head server was very accommodating considering our food allergies and gave us a food allergy chart to help us at the food bar. The food was pretty flavour less. Garlic and ginger sauces were added but their was still very little flavour regarding the food. I believe that we will not be eating here unless it is out of need.

A friend and myself have this as our traditional lunchtime hangout. It’s not amazing food if you don’t know your way around their sauces. You can ask for special cooking /etc… At the grill, and don’t forget to add garlic oil, and at least 5 ladles of sauce. Tip: do the vegetables first, and then the meat.

Very good Mongolian food. I like the layout and the selection. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. After my boyfriend made his plate way to hot, he offered to help him with the sauces on the second round. Very good and at a good price.

What a great experience. Prepare for battle and control your dining destiny. This place allows you to build your own plate for the grill. Be your own chef… it’s fabulous!

The food was just okay for me. I checked the menu online prior to arriving and there was a lot of seafood on the menu. When I went there was only imitation crab and one other type of fish. Understandable that not all items are available at all locations but I was still disappointed. Service was great, very attentive waiter.

Seriously… This was the absolute worst Mongolian-Grill food I’ve ever had! Everything was frozen! The meat, the veggies — Everything! Even our appetizers. Tacky, gross, tasteless… BD’s Mongolian BBQ has FRESH food. I’ll never dine here at HuHot again!

This is my first time here. Though my family has been here a couple times now. Our waitress was nice when she was around. She was hard to find & it really wasn’t that busy. There’s a nice mixture of meats, veggies & noodles. Tons of sauces to choose from & mix together. The guys cooking the our were sweet & kind, talking to our kids and friendly. My kids love that they can go back several times which is a great way for me as a mom to encourage them to try new things since we don’t have to commit to one dish. Clean, roomy dining area & friendly staff. We’ll be back

The Chuck E Cheese of Mongolian themed make your own bowl restaurants — all that is missing is an employee dressed as one of the horde and skee-ball tables. I’ve never been so thoroughly unimpressed with a restaurant in under 20 minutes. From the frozen paper-thin meats, to the uninspired noodles and sauces, the commingling of everyone’s food on the grill, and the disgusting ring of waste around the grill that the cooks continually«clean» their utensils in, if that hasn’t obliterated your hunger, then the barely cooked, tasteless food surely will. If you’re in the mood for this kind of thing I would recommend Ghengis Grill. Not only does Ghengis Grill have much better food quality, better flavor, better sanitation, they actually spent more than 10 seconds thinking about their franchise concept. For my money I’d rather eat just about anywhere else.

Love this place. We visit whenever we visit from San Diego. I wish everyone has their own tongs vs touching all the same ones and spreading germs. So many combo options to create. I love doing just onion and mushroom and have them steam with water. So good!

Busy Friday night; got in about 7:30 with just a few minutes wait. The place, was of course, jumping and that added a convivial quality — not too noisy, just people who LOVE to eat coming to place they like. Our first time here but have done the Mongolian BBQ when it was downtown Denver. Our server, Zach was terrif, as were the 3 – 5 host/hostesses. The meat/veggie tables were well stocked, but messy because of Friday night fever. Fun to watch people watching their food being cooked and the line went fast. Got a good tip from Zach, ladle 8 – 9 scoops of whatever sauces you pick — I went with the house sauce, and added some others but went with 9 sauces — glad I did. Total for 2 full stir fry and 2 adult beverages — about $ 42 plus tip. Not bad. We’ll go back with out of owners. Plenty of choices for vegetarians. Plus a choice of white or fried rice.

Need some diversity in your dining adventures? The Westminster, Colorado HuHot Mongolian Grill will provide some fun in your quest for Asian favors! Our family met here for a nephews birthday and we we learned from the experience. Don’t go on a Saturday afternoon with a big crowd because you will wait for a large table and the time to cook the individual plates has everyone eating at separate times. The wait for cooking when the place is full is something you want to avoid. Going to try again on a weekday at lunch to see how the flow goes because the food is good and it’s fun to create your own BBQ creations. Gluten free options are a plus. We had never been or heard of dining like this so the process was unique. Pictures are posted of the meat, vegetable and sauce line along with seating arrangments. The sign says to take one bowl and create your platter but it makes more sense to take 2 and fill one with your base noodles or rice, add meat to the top, vegetables and then design your own sauce before merging to the grill line. The special sauce ingredients are going to make or break your culinary experience. There are over 30 different sauces you can combine from sesame oil to habanero sauce, ginger, mustard, sweet, garlic, hot chili, lemon, BBQ, peanut and more. See the menu on the website to create your own before you go and know the calories too! Writing it down when you create something you really like will make it easier the 2nd time through so you can recreate the same flavor. Parking is an issue as you will probably have to park in the apartment lot across from the Grill. Just setting expectations so you know you will have a walk to the front door. The cost as of 2−1−15 was $ 9.99 per plate for lunch and it’s all you can eat with unlimited trips to through the line. A dollar more for dinner but you get soup or salad. There is really no need for appetizers or sides as there are so many choices on the line if you are watching your budget just stay away from the extras as you don’t need them to be extremely full. Sign up for the Hot club and frequent diner card and get a free meal on your birthday. There are 5 locations in Colorado, Arvada, 2 in Colorado Springs, 2 in Ft. Collins and one in Sheridan. It’s not fine dining. so go with the right attitude and you will enjoy the creativity in cooking your own creations!

First time here. We both liked it and considering my son that means something, lol. We were coming back from a much longer than expected day in the mountains and were trying to wait until we got back to the house still a 45 minute drive away. I was starving and saw the sign from interstate. It had been a long time since I’d been to a Mongolian BBQ. Though had never been to one like this. The food taste amazing. But of course it mostly depends on you since you fix it. Or service was pretty good. Everyone was pleasant. I only had 2 complaints. First the bars were gross. Not necessarily unsanitary but all those people fixing there own stuff make a mess and I didn’t see anyone going around cleaning it up. The second was they need at least 2 grills. It takes for EVER to get your stuff cooked. Fix those two things for an extra star each.
