went there with my boyfriend and another couple. Ordered a coke at the bar. waited 20 minutes while the bartender flirted with a bunch of dudes. the pulled pork pizza wasnt pulled pork. then she asked me if i wanted another coke and never brought it. she was by herself working but we were the only ones there. not busy at all. all set with this place

I am so lucky that I live so close to this piece of culinary heaven. My boyfriend and I order take out from Cannolis at least twice a week and we go over to play pool(downstairs) and enjoy their fresh tossed pizza whenever we find the time. The owner is the head chef and he is VERY passionate about his food. Everything he makes is from scratch and he cooks everything to order, in small intimate batches. This is the ONLY restaurant in the area where you can get FRESH seafood and fresh everything else. I see some reviews of people complaining about them running out of things. Well, they have a large menu and the owner goes out every day to pick fresh ingredients so yes, this is going to happen and any understanding person should know that. I would rather him run out of things than to be eating OLD, CANNED, FROZEN food! The pasts is fresh and his sauces are to DIE for. My boyfriends favorite is the Seafood FraDiavlo. The mussels, shrimp and calamari are so fresh that you would think you’re in Sicily! I LOVE his alfredo sauce and his Tuscan steak tips! And if you love cheese, order their 5 cheese pizza. You can thank me later!

I could have done better if I bought a can of Chef boy’ardee and ate it from the can. Very minimal wait staff, the lighting was very bright with no ambiance, I felt like I was in a cafeteria rather than and«Italian» restaurant. Witnessed the owner refuse to fix someones meal because a steak was not cooked to the customers order. I don’t think anything was fresh. It could be a lovely place, location is great, good size space, large bar, plenty of space for entertainment, prices are good, but you don’t get what you pay for. The décor is too busy and makes it look cluttered and just moved in. This was a Friday night and one other couple was dining — that’s it! I should have turned back when I noticed two cars in the parking lot on a Friday.

Horrible all around. Here is a list of things they ran out of on a Friday night at 6pm… Coca Cola, cranberry juice, ginger ale, moscato& steak sauce. The cooked was yelling at the waitress the whole time. Got 2 of our orders wrong And there were only 3 other people in restaurant… again on Friday night! Never again

Disgusting. That’s the best way I can describe all of the food that I received. I am New to Weymouth area so I am still finding out what’s good and what’s bad. This is one place I assumed would have decent Italian, I mean, who can really serve poor Italian food? I ordered take out for my husband, my son and myself. He restaurant was dead on a Saturday ordered: large cheese pizza — tasted like something you would receive at a kids birthday party at chuck-e-cheeses. No one would eat it, even my son who loves pizza. Buffalo chicken tenders– soggy, tasteless and no blue cheese. What kind of savage doesn’t give blue cheese with buffalo chicken tenders. Cheese lasagna– ugh. this was also soggy. Not from Mariana but it had water it in. It was definitely microwaved from frozen which I can only assume was in there for months. The cheese inside was a chewy version of ricotta. I took three bites and had to throw it away. Three of us were left hungry after spending $ 50 on the worst take out I have ever received. Trust me, do not waste your time and money here!

I’m shocked this place isn’t more busy. The view is great! Service is quick, food is delicious and they have a game room downstairs. I recommend the steak tips!

Place was DEAD on Tuesday night. They had 1 couple eating dinner. If not for the 2 dart teams, they probably would have closed. The bartender, Jen, was very nice. The pizza was okay. Not great but certainly edible. Beers are expensive at $ 4 for Lite, Bud, Bud light. The food the couple ordered smelled good. Empty restaurant though. Empty.

Don’t waste your time like I did. No waitstaff. Food sitting there waiting to be served. nothing like expensive cold food.

Nice view, good chicken parm, veal parm, and eggplant parm. The service was a little slow, but I think they may have been understaffed on this recent visit. The portions were perfect for lunch and the price was fair. I might swing in again if I’m in the area, but unlikely to go out of my way to visit.

Fresh and generous portion of Chicken Parmesan. I was even able to ask for it made with Arrabbiata sauce! My wife is lactose intolerant and her Shrimp Pesto pizza(no cheese) came out better than you could expect. Beautiful location overlooking Whitman’s pond and it’s fall foliage, great service, and unbelievable prices. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

This is one of my favorite places for one specific thing — the bowtie pasta(with seafood and vodka sauce). I love it. My fiancée loves it. That and a good, strong drink(rum and coke) makes this a nice dinner place. Sometimes the ambiance can be a little confusing and uncomfortable when they are empty. And many times they are understaffed. The view and décor of the inside is extremely pretty though. The lake is beautiful at night and it is nice when there are people there at the bar(good crowd). I have never stayed away from the dish I order though. My fiancée has tried chicken, and other dishes. I am happy with anything on the specials menu(and the asiago wedges are good too). I think that if the place just didn’t ‘look’ as empty it would do a ton better.

I have given this restaurant 4 chances and will not give it another. The chef/owner should not be in any business that involves the public. Whenever a special request is made he will not fill it. On our recent visit my husband wanted to combine chicken and veal parm(they have chicken & eggplant parm and veal & eggplant parm on the menu) he doesn’t like eggplant and would have been willing to pay a little extra. We could hear him yell«NO» from the kitchen when the waitress asked about the change. The steak tips where too chewy to eat, they might have been good in a stew but not as tips. The bruschetta app was good but the chocolate covered cannoli had zero flavor. Our previous visits to this place were no better. I was hoping he had learned some people skills as well as cooking skills but it appears that hasn’t happened. The bar area is very small but if I ever set foot in this establishment again it only be for a drink and I doubt that will happen.

Pros: nice, updated décor. Decent pizza and beer. Cons: rude waitstaff. Oddly laid out dining area. No one is ever here. There were 4 cars at 6:30 on a Friday. Pretty sad.

I had a small wedding here(45 people) and Vinny(the owner) did everything to make sure i got what i needed. The food was good and the bartenders were really nice and personable. If you have an event and you’re wondering where you should have it, i would definitely recommend Cannoli’s.

Oh good Lord where do I start. My wife and I went to Cannolis with a living social special to be surprised in a bad way. The view is nice… that’s about it. After we were seated it took almost ten minutes before the waitress/bartender/hostess, to come and take our drink order. After arriving with the skunkiest beer known to man, we decided to use our livingsocial selection to get the caesar salads, boneless buffalo«wings», surf and turf, as well as the cannolis. The caeser salad was ok, other than the fact that the croutons where extremely stale. Next up were the buffalo wings, which happened to be pounded chicken drenched in buffalo sauce. For the entrée, the surf and turf soup… was needless to say extremely unappetizing. The grade«d» steak that we were served, was drenched in teriyaki sauce, the meat was not allowed to rest and created a massive amount of liquid that covered the dish. The mashed potatoes were made with what we thought was a stick of butter(hold the potato). The broccoli was ok as was the shrimp, majority of everything tasted like garlic. They should change the name because the Cannolis tasted disgusting. Would have gave them 0 stars if I could have.

We were seated by a waitress mumbling under her breath as if we were putting her out by being there. They have a good selection of specialty drinks and wine at reasonable prices. There is a beautiful view of Whitman’s Pond through their large wall of windows. Caesar salad was fresh with shaved Parmesan and dressing served on the side. Rolls were burnt. We had steak tips with a tasty marinade but the meat tasted like scraps and grizzle trimmed from better cuts they were serving. The butterflied shrimp were tender and large. Dinners were served with instant potatoes and frozen vegetable medley. Wait staff included one very pleasant server that seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed and the more experienced albeit put out woman that seated us. Topping on the cake…(pardon the pun)…a place named cannolis served a cannoli shell with a dollop of filling on each end and a hollow center shell. no powdered sugar. Restaurant has potential but really needs to kick it up a notch if they hope to make a go of their new location.

Not the best food I’ve eaten but it was good enough. The service was OK but for only having 5 tables, it was pretty slow.
