The bar itself is very cozy. The food is so-so with the pizza always kinda of soggy but toppings are great. Specialty drinks are pretty amateurish, all just something with vodka added. No real mixing. The problem with this place is the bartenders. One of them is ok although she’s a little loud and seems drunk sometimes(and put sports on the TVs please), but the new bartender. Let me tell ya. She is the worst service employee I’ve ever seen. We went in when she started and she literally screwed up every single order in some way. If she didn’t get the food wrong, it was the drinks, or she messed up the check. We went back last night: She’s eating soup and talking to her friends. Literally ignoring us sitting in the booth directly in front of her. Comes over and takes our order like we’re bothering her. Goes back to talking to her friends. Then starts texting on the counter, again directly across from us. After some time she brings over menus and says, «your drinks are coming up soon.» As if she put an order in to someone else lol! She’s the only there and just needs to pour the drafts but is taking her sweet time. And all the while rolling her eyes and acting annoyed by everyone. We ask for a box and she throws three slices in the largest of the boxes available. I overheard that one bartender hired the other so I suspect she hired someone far worse than her on purpose but both of these bartenders need to go. They need to spend some money and hire some professional help or this place will go down the tubes quickly. EDIT: After posting this, both of us felt sick from the pizza. We had a bad taste in our mouths the next day so now I also question how sanitary the kitchen staff is.

Place has gone downhill. I think there was an ownership change a while back and it’s just not been what we’d come to enjoy over the years. Every once in a while we break down and give it another try but alas… still the same disappointing food. Meatball Calzone with ricotta has no ricotta despite being charged extra for it and asking point blank as I picked it up if it had it. Options are lacking around here but I’m done with this place.

Where to begin? Not sure why some people hype places up. Like just be honest-chances are a true foodie will read your reviews. Probably not the best Pizza you’ll ever have. I’d give it a 4.5 out of ten, the slices look like they been in the display case since yesterday. Pub fries, smh. Tasted like nothing, just deep fried potatoes, no spice or flavor to it. I read on the menu somewhere about a Cajun seasoning. What a joke. So done with lack luster spots. Like why be in business if your food sucks. #stepYourPubFoodGameUp #yourNotFoolingAnyone #wellBeBack. Just to be clear, I will give this spot another try but please be warned, true foodies are in the building

Ordered over the phone for takeout. They had no record of the order when I went to pick up. Entirely disorganized, after standing around for 10 minutes it was clear that the staff had no control over what was going on.

A small group of us had salad, lasagna and garlic cheese bread as takeout. Salad is salad unless it is exceptional. The lasagna was OK, and the bread was very good. Their pricing is a little higher than it should be.

I have been to this place before and always had a pleasant experience. This last time, not so much.(Yeah, I will never visit here again). Service was great, but SKIP this place if you just want to have a few beers to end your long day. If you want no problems, go drink elsewhere… Like ANYWHERE. You can have an open container walking down a police parade and have less of a headache. Food is decent and service is good(hence the 3 stars) but I rather spend my after work hours far, FAR, FAR away from here.

Best hidden gem for Italian in the area. Huge portions, great bread and lovely wait staff and bartenders. Only downside is it is very small!

Best Italian food around. Home made pizza is delicious. Comfortable seating at bar section. It becomes my family frequent visit place.

Food is great.(Wraps, sandwiches and soup are all I’ve had) service is about what I’d expect. It’s the fresh taste to the subs and wraps that keeps me coming back for more

I don’t really like anything there except for their Texas steak and cheese without onions. The barbecue sauce tasted so good on it!

Their pizza is pretty good, a little too doughy though. But their subs are really good. Their chicken club sub is so good! And their steak and cheese egg rolls are pretty good too, maybe a little too overcooked though.

I should have stuck with the pizza. I got the Buffalo chicken calzone and was sorely disappointed. Before I even took a bite, half the insides were spilling out the sides. Once I did, I was met with a soggy, low grade chicken flavor with watery buffalo sauce. It basically tasted like a wet buffalo chicken hot pocket. Quite a sad ending after waiting 40 minutes for delivery. As a side note, setting up delivery was painful. The first guy spoke a mile a minute like the micro machines guy and got the order wrong. I called back and a different guy then charged my card wrong. A third call finally resolved this bafflingly hard process.

Delicious! Love their bacon pizza and their sauce that they use! It’s a delicious mix of tomato and plums. It’s always great to get from them. Wonder how good the Pembroke one is.

Great food and good prices. A bit small and quite feeling for young children but a great experience.

Great food and great service, but I cannot give them more than 2 stars because we witnessed a mouse run across the floor while we were eating. Won’t be coming back here. Clean it up.

Capone’s Prohibition Pub is one of my favorite places to visit. We started out at the Pembroke Capone’s just stopped in for a pizza. Quite by accident, found the Capone’s in Weymouth. The Sweet and Spicy Pizza is one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Also, the Loaded Baked Potatoe soup is very delicious. My favorite appetizer is the«Eggplant Stacker» which is not on the menu, but can be seen on the«Specials» of the day. You will NOT be disappointed trying this Appetizer. Service is always fantastic, restaurant is always clean. Oh, they make an awesome Bloody Mary too! Price is just right. Do yourself a favor, and check it out, we are so glad we did. I am a repeat customer, which says a lot about this place. I am very picky about my pizza. I wish I lived closer(I live in Norwood) Just wanted to say«Thank you to all at Capone’s Prohibition Pub» We love your food, atmosphere and staff!!!

I had a large pepperoni & pub fries delivered on a Sunday just prior to the 1:00NFL games. From the time I called until the time they delivered was 17 minutes. Outstanding time for delivery across town. The only negative was a slightly burnt pepperoni on a great pie. The pub fries were outstanding & my wife stated they were some of the best she has ever had.

My fiancé and I ordered takeout and had a large cheese pizza and mozzarella sticks. Overall we enjoyed the food. It was a little weird however the mozzarella sticks came in an open boat type dish, no cover or nothing. Just shoved in a bag. Price was a little high for a pizza and sticks. But overall pretty good.

Food was good, had the seafood stew lots of salmon, scallops and shrimp in a savory broth, wife had the chicken with eggplant dish, both were excellent, waitress was awesome, the service industry needs more waitresses like Kelly, we’ll be back because of her

I have been to Capone’s in Weymouth several times for lunch/dinner and have enjoyed it every time. The service, food quality, and atmosphere all contribute to a great dinning experience. The booths are very comfortable and with high backs provide privacy. The portions have always provided ‘left-overs’ for home and the mixed drink offerings include the trendy and unique, as well as a great beer selection. Friendly servers and a cozy atmosphere make Capone’s Prohibition Pub a landmark in Weymouth.

It was one of those days, I was«hangry and we were car shopping!» I quickly pulled into the first place a saw which happened to be Capone’s Pizzeria and Prohibition Pub. From the outside, I expected a dimly lit restaurant to serve chicken fingers/wings with the old stench of cigarettes and cigars. Boy was I quick to judge a «book by its cover.» This place is completely amazing. We went back again last night and I was impressed again. Staff is excellent, portions are out of control and delicious. Have tried the American Chopped Suey, Greek Salad, Eggplant Rolatini, Calamari and Mixed Grill. Their bathrooms are some of the cleanest I have seen in a restaurant! They also have buckets of beer that include an array of beers for $ 1.50. I haven’t read the reviews below but I am surprised that people haven’t felt the same way we have!
