Discusting pizza! Not up my alley at all. Papa Gino’s all the way! Sony go back! The pizza sauce is icky! B

I haven’t ordered from papa johns in a very long time but last night my boyfriend and I decided to give them a go, mainly because of the large cookie. We are both suckers when it comes to cookies. So I order online, super easy no problem. I get an email saying delivery time was 30 – 40 minutes. Saturday night, so I’m thinking that’s great time. 50 minutes later, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt since it is a Saturday night. An hour hits though so I decide to call and check. I’m put on hold and then told without apology that the driver had just walked out the door. Right there I already have a feeling that our pizza and cookie are going to be ice cold when they arrive. I was correct. That pizza had probably been in the store for 30 minutes before that driver got my pizza into his car. That is beyond acceptable, and I know this because I use to work in this industry and deliver pizza. If I already called showing my frustration in the wait time, why do you think it is okay to send a COLD pizza to my house? In no way am I blaming the driver, I’m sure he was doing the best he could and he was very apologetic at my door for the wait and I tipped him appropriately because like I said, it was not on him that my pizza was cold. It’s called time management in house, don’t start my pizza if a driver can’t take it until an hour from then. I can promise you that I will never order pizza from them again. Because even warm, that pizza would not have been worth the wait and the cookie was greasy and not that great either.

I had very bad experience here. I ordered a customized pizza with extra chicken (for which they charged extra money) and a square cut and buffalo sauce. First I have checked manually and found there is no buffalo sauce in the pizza, so they put the whole pizza with that sauce which is not even eatable. They did not even provided the extra chicken for which they charged extra.
The person is just lazy to even read the instructions. Just to say, I had worst pizza ever.

Ha look at that, they favorited a tweet I dissed them in. Pay attention, it wasn’t a compliment. It truly starts at the top with this company. You want my business?, I want my food!

Delivery times are horrendous and pizza was cold better off picking up to avoid the ridiculous delivery charge that doesn’t even go to the driver

I originally had a long explanation detailing what happened but instead, I’ll just give this advise: Please call me if the pie is gonna be over an hour late next time, even if it’s cold & you give an extra, medium, plain cheese with it. Thanks.

really bad pizza ordered a large cheese one day and whole bottom was burnt like charcoal i was hungry ate the cheese off but in the back of my mind i wanted to do my own hand tossing against a tree. another day was in the area decided to try a different crust and toppings then looked at back again wtf burnt to bits why do they keep burning the pizzas the cook must be the same cook get a better cook to watch the oven.

This place came through clutch tonight. 10 mins to 10pm on a sunday and i was in a scramble to order a quick pizzerpie! Saw on their website they had special $ 12 lg specialty pizzas. Saw a buffalo chicken one & called to order. Didnt even realize that it had bacon, onions, creamy ranch sauce on it with the buffalo chicken. Yahtzee! the girl was friendly both on phone and when i picked it up. Price is fair for a specialty pizza and the pizza was done and ready when i got there. Looking forward to trying some other pizzas from this place

Food was what I remember from college and the driver was nice. But, there used to be garlic sauce with the pizzas. And I ordered a veggie and a cheese but got two cheeses. Still service was fast. Maybe that’s the problem with online ordering…

Pizza was great. Their Garlic sauce was awesome .
I ordered online and got great service. A must try is their Garlic Parm bread sticks.
The delivery guy was prompt and friendly.

I just started ordering from this location recently. The first two times we ordered delivery and the pizza was good, hot, and cheap! The last time we ordered, last week, the pizza wasn’t cooked enough and the BBQ chicken tenders were soggy. The pepperoni wasn’t crispy at all and the dough was slightly mushy. We ended up sticking it in the oven for a couple of minutes to crisp it up.
However, they always deliver fast and have never messed up our order! I live1 minute away from Papa Ginos in Braintree, and they still take 45 minutes to deliver, and their pizza isn’t great. Papa Johns is in Weymouth, and they deliver to Braintree in about 20 – 25 minutes, and the pizza is usually good!

Alright papa johns, come on now. I have tasted better cardboard. I worked for a Papa johns in TX and used to love bringing home Pizza. The last two times I have ordered it is just bland. I mean I know this is not gourmet pizza and its «cheap» but if I am going to be 30 dollars for 2 pizzas I’d like to at least enjoy it.
More toppings, better sauce?
All I know is I’m bummed that i have to start looking for a better pizza place around me.
Also beware of the «Deals» I ordered the large with any toppings for $ 10 (I got 2) and when we went to pick it up the bill was 27. They said it was tax, but when I looked at the receipt it showed that each one was 12.50 and then tax. I know its only 5 bucks, but hey we are in a depression
