Good Five

We bought take out from here tonight, the soup had no taste, the broccoli was almost raw and some sort of sauce was sprinkled on top of it, the Beef Chow mein was tasteless and overcooked. NEVER AGAIN!

Solid Chinese spot here. Food is great and plentiful and also tastes great. They do offer delivery, but we decided to take a drive and order and pickup the food in person.
The restaurant is small, but they do offer ample seating area if you actually decide to stay and eat there if anyone ever does.
The BBQ Boneless Spare Ribs were excellent, specially the ones with burnt ends. I wish I have gotten a larger order. The general Tso’s was also great, perfectly spicy and delicious.
Dumplings and egg rolls were delicious, this was a really great Christmas meal and i was not dissapointed. I will eat from here again for sure!

Very delicious food and usually good service. They do need to increase their tofu and vegetarian options. What’s with no eggplant and garlic sauce?

Good five is the most consistent Chinese take out in the area. Everything is always fresh and the people are friendly. The general tso, singapore men fun, and boneless spare ribs are excellent

I would have given them 5 stars, because to be honest, their food is great. Unfortunately that has just been ruined for me. I ordered a specific order, a specific way as I am allergic to certain things. Keep in mind I order from Good Five at least once per week. I got the wrong order. I had already paid as it was a delivery. I called up to let them know, and the woman who answered gave me a hard time. She claimed they were just too busy and could not exchange my food. They insisted I eat what I had. They offered to give me free food next time. After arguing with them, finally, they agreed to send the correct order, but not for at least an hour. Needless to say, they have now lost my business.

My favorite place in Wharton for last 3 yrs. Great flavor, healthy portions. Whatever oil they use makes food taste fresh. Large eggrolls, not small like other places.

Everytime i place an order they’re always so nice and pleasent to speak with. I love it! They’re foods delicious also. Very yummy and worth the money

I’m new to the area and have been missing my Chinese food bad.
This place was great. The sauce had great flavor … nothing bland here. Prices were super affordable.
Even better was the friendly staff.
I’ll be back here for sure.

We have been going to to this restaurant since it’s been ‘Good Five’ and it’s always on point. The most consistently good Chinese food we’ve found in this area.

Good Chinese takeout delivered fast to our POB. No big surprises but no big failings. Vegetable seem fresh not frozen or canned.

This place used to be terrible. New owners came onboard just over a year ago. Much improved since then. Really good sweet & sour chicken, chicken & broccoli, pork dishes & wonton soup. Beef dishes are OK but the cut of beef is not always the best. Seating area to right consists of 4 booths and 3 2-​person tables. Kitchen looks clean. Mens restroom never ever has any paper towels. They need to put some in or at least get an air hand dryer!
