I have been going to the family-​owned Japanese Auto Service for more than 25 years (yes, I swear!) and I have brought them 4 of my Toyotas and my wife’s Subaru Outback and Honda CRV in those years.. Even when we lived in Washington DC, I’d call them for advice on a car, and they’d spend all the time necessary helping me. They are always honest about whether or not I need all the work recommended by the Toyota repair book. I’ll never go anywhere else. and have a handful of friends who also are committed to this shop.

I trust Japanese Auto Service more than any mechanics I have ever had. They are courteous, helpful, and honest. Today they went above and beyond by verifying a quote that I received from another shop I was towed to in a pinch. It is apparent that they genuinely care about their customers. Truly a class act business.

What do you want in a great mechanic shop? Honest, honest, honest and competent, competent, competent! That is what you will get with this family-​owned business. No guile, just earnest, reliable service and information. I am a grateful new customer, but my mother is a returning long-​time customer after a misguided belief she should go to the local Toyota dealership for service with her new car– what a mistake! Here, you can expect to have your time, investment (car) and money respected!
*I got new brakes and pads on my 2007 Honda Accord for almost $ 100 less than quoted at other businesses/​chains! Whoo Hoo!*

I’ve been coming to Japanese Auto Service since moving out to Colorado 8 years ago. I met Ross in college and we were both vets (although he was a Marine and I was Army, we can’t all be perfect), so I knew he was a red blooded American patriot. I live way down near the DTC, but I drive all the way up to Wheat Ridge because I know that I can trust their reliability, credibility, pricing and some fun conversations while I wait for my car to be done. I pointed at least 4 people to Japanese Auto Service and they all say the same thing, including my girlfriend. As long as I’m in Colorado, I don’t think I’ll end up going anywhere else for my auto services. Japanese Auto Services is just simply the best.

Japanese Auto service is as good as it gets. I have routine maintenance done on my Nissan Titan and they go out of there way to make sure it is well maintained. Thanks for all the help.

These guys are great. They’ve done a variety of work for me, from checking out a used car I was buying, to routine maintenance, to diagnosing and repairing a weird noise in the driveline. They’re friendly and honest, and they only fix what’s wrong, without trying to upsell or tack on extra charges. They’re not close to where I live or work, but a trustworthy mechanic is worth the drive!

I have a toyota 4runner and have been going to Japanese auto service for several years now and i am so happy with the work they have done on my car.
These guys are honest and won’t sell you a bunch of crap you don’t need. Their work is great and i never have had to come back with any problems.
It’s rare to find a good mechanic so when you find a good one you stick with them!
