My wife was going to surprise me for our anniversary. Didn’t know what to expect. Around the time we were going to leave to pick up the car she got a phone call. Not knowing what was going on I ask who that was. Then she told me that we were going to pick up the 2015 corvette and have it for 24 hours to drive and enjoy. But the 9:30 time we were appointed by the owner to pick it up had been pushed back to mid morning. So we waited for a call. 11:00 not hearing from anyone she decided to call again. Take it that we my wife had the day schedule for different events for our anniversary. Leave a message his phone get a callback 10 minutes later to say that the car is supposed to be dropped off at 11:30 or so. At that time we left thinking by the time we get out to the place it will be there. We are 25 minutes out. Get there at 11:30 no one there not one car in the whole lot were we are supposed to get the corvette. We pull across the street to watch to see if someone with the car is going to come. We waited until 12:45. Still no one shows. Then a car pulls in. Not the corvette another car. Gets out goes inside. At that time my wife calls the guy to say what is going on and what are options are. Leaving another message on his phone. 10 or so minutes he calls back not knowing we are right out side watching this whole thing. Tells us it’s on they way should be ready to pick up at 1:00 that way they have time to wash it and get it ready. He said at that time he would put another 50 mile on what they give you is 100. Take it now there is no corvette that has been driven and dropped off. Right after that here comes a red corvette into the place. Take it now it’s after 1:00. Our pick up time was 9:30. Not 1:30. We go inside to get things going and tell the man was just sitting there not even in a hurry to get us the car. The car is out of gas and dirty. We continue to read there policy before signing and going forward. Then I ask the man if we could be comped another 100 instead of 50 mile. We have been waiting for over 4 hours. He said he would ask the boss that is out of state to see if he would agree. He says I just work hear. He texted the guy and says it could be awhile because he is out of state and ready to catch a flight somewhere. I go back were the corvette was and there were at least 10 to 12 more cars just sitting there. I am thinking how come we weren’t offered one of those cars that we could have picked up at 9:30. Take it some are more expensive. But there was a couple of corvettes in there a 2015 witch the corvette that had pulled in was not the one they promised to my wife. It was older. The guy text the man back and says he can’t give us another 100 mile on top of the 100 mile because this car is owned by someone else. All he can do is 50. At that time frustrating and the whole morning gone. Car not clean no gas. The guy tells us that the guy who turned in the vet actually had it for 3 days and had just picked it up the day before. So he really didn’t have to turn it in until Monday. This was Sunday. But he was leaving to catch a flight out of Denver. If this company knew this how come we weren’t comes even more because that guys flight could have been delayed or rescheduled for Monday. You never no with the airport. At this time we said. The day is gone and could we get our money back. Going on 2 and our time that the owner told my wife to be there we didn’t make that reservations he did. Well then the guy says that the car we reserved the guy that just returned it was supposed to get a Porsche but had a flat that now they have to replace all 4 tires because the tire was ruined. So they give this guy our car the day before knowing he had a 3 day rental and could have turned in in anytime. When I looked around the shop we could have had one of the other vets. Well we cancelled because none of this was our flat. We were the ones making all the phone calls that morning and afternoon. Never getting a call back like he said he would. The excitement at that time was totally gone and nothing but frustration. Take it all our planes were shot and gone. But this guy that got our car they gave him ours and I felt we were put on hold and we didn’t even matter at this point. Take it the Porsche is 900.00 a day ours was 400.00. But we are still a customer. This whole texting the owner and leaving messages I think is bad bad way to run a business. I felt like we were just given the run around that whole morning. Again with all the other cars in that place not once we were offered any of those

My wife and kids got me this experience for my birthday. I was not disappointed! It has been a lifelong dream of mine to ride in a Lamborghini. These guys made that dream not only a reality, but a smooth and easy one as well. They have a predetermined route, a spotter that goes along with to help with blind spots, and a quick driver training course, all of which make you feel at ease in this beast of a car!
My only complaint was that it was all over in an instant it seemed. But that was just because I was having such a great time! I would highly recommend this to anyone that has a love of fast, exotic cars.

I purchased a Groupon deal for my husband for a birthday surprise. I had a number of questions leading up to the day, and Carlo always returned my calls, and was more than happy to answer my questions. Carlo was kind enough to let my 2 year old son check out the cars without being overly concerned that he would damage something. Carlo has a laid back, but professional way of dealing with customers that I appreciated. My husband definitely enjoyed his ride in the Lamborghini Gallardo, and still talks about it!

I had purchased a Groupon deal as a birthday present to myself. It was a short drive put together for the Groupon deal. Carlo Gonzalez described the drive, which was a short drive up 32^nd Ave with a few curves into Golden. He then proceeded to upsell me on his normal drive up Clear Creek canyon. That was best extra $ 150 I’ve spent! The Groupon drive just wouldn’t have been enough in the Lamborghini Gallardo. The Lambo was a blast to drive. Especially flying through the tunnels with the windows down to hear the engine roar
Carlo spent the right amount of time describing the features and how to drive the Gallardo. Which is a little tricky with it’s single clutch paddle shifter system. He never whinced when I messed it up a couple of times.
Would I buy from Mile High Drives again. @&$% yes! I’m already plan my next summer drive!

These guys are just terrific. Didn’t know what to expect after receiving my Groupon for a foothills drive as a gift, and I was definitely not disappointed. Carlo and Lawrence were just superb and walked me through the idiosyncracies of driving the Lamborghini Gallardo. I learned a lot about the car and had a lot of fun doing it. I think I’ll go back and drive the Ferrari 430 next time…

My birthday gift was a Lamborghini drive and the entire process was great! Carlo was very helpful with the entire process and ride was great! If you are a petrol head like me and want to drive an exotic, this is the place!

So I got to take the GTR for a half day yesterday and it was so much fun. Everyone there was real cool, let my wife and I check out the fleet. Everyone was super knowledgeable about the cars. If you are a car enthusiast at all and are on the fence about maybe you want to do it but don’t know if its worth it… JUST DO IT. Totally worth it. Check it off the old bucket list.

This is a great place for the local car enthusiest and visiting freinds and family who want to have a unique experience. I arranged for a drive for my Mom to take a Lamborghini Gallardo out on an experience drive. My Mom was very excited and nervous about driving the vehicle. The owner, Carlo, was great and very accomadating when Mom decided to be a passenger instead of the driver. She enjoyed ever second of the experience. The entire staff at MHD was awsome and the fleet of automobiles is amazing. I will definitly be bringing more people here and highly recomend this as a different way to experience Denver and Colorado.

Carlos at MHD as a new and rare service for Denver car enthusiast and others to enjoy. He has a full fleet of clean, tastefully modified exotic cars to choose from. The rentals are available for ½ day, full day a and week long rentals. Available seven days a week with a full online scheduling systems finding availability is easy.
For a birthday surprise I received a Groupon special (keep an eye out for those) to rent the Corvette C6 for ½ day rental. My GF and I had a blast driving through Denver in this 6-​speed torque beast!
The service was perfect for us allowing for plenty of time to enjoy the car and have a fun experience.
Rental was ½ day, 75 miles, with some slight overages graces built in for time (~15 mins over) and mileage (3 – 4 over), we had to make sure we returned the gas tank to the level when we picked it up. Gas stations are within 1 – 2 minutes of the location, est. $ 10 of 91 octane fuel was added even with a pretty heavy foot :) You may consider getting the extra prepaid miles before if you know you will go well over the 75 mile mark. It ends up being almost half the cost of the full overage cost per mile.
Carlos was friendly to us and other guests allowing us to look in back at the other cars in the large garage area. He explains the car and walks through a visual inspection. Reminds drivers not to push the cars too hard and explains that he examines the tires for extreme sidewall rubbing/​damage resulting from full on power sliding, etc. Overall the experience seemed much less stressful than renting at the large airport fleet rental services.
American Express exotic car insurance is recommended (for card holders) with $ 100,000 worth of coverage including medical. Personal auto insurance is fine too as long a the policy meets the requirements.
I’d love to drive the GTR and hope to rent that soon, its professionally modified and looks great!
