Jersey Mike’s is a good sub chain that doesn’t make bad sandwiches by any means. We came through on a Saturday afternoon looking for a classic sub lunch. As soon as you enter, you smell the oil and vinegar filling the spot — big fan of that! I got a classic turkey/cheese/lettuce/onion/O+V sub. Three sizes: mini, regular, giant. The regular is an average sub, while the giant is MASSIVE. The sub was made well: really bitter vinegar taste, mixed with freshly cut cold cuts on a good sized roll. The area where Jersey Mike’s suffers is its service. The workers seemed very confused by seemingly simple orders(both mine and the customers ahead of us). The workers kept forgetting orders and asked me for mine twice. They also wrote my name down wrong, and got my order confused with the person after me. All and all, good sandwiches, but be prepared to fight off some potentially annoying ordering issues!

Came here for lunch as it was close to my client’s site for a business trip and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the #17 philly cheesesteak which was pretty good and fast service. Overall a bit on the pricier side, and I have had better cheesesteak, but in a pinch, it will do

I’m originally from Jersey City and my absolute favorite sandwich growing up was the Blimpie Best with everything on it plus some sweet and hot peppers. Loved how a simple sub can deliver so much flavor! Since moving away from the area, I felt like I needed to fill that sandwich void, and lo and behold, Jersey Mike’s is my new local spot! A close replica to the Blimpie Best is #5 The Super Sub. Ordering it Mike’s Way is the way to go since it’s your basic standard toppings: lettuce, tomato, onions, oil and vinegar. In addition, I also ask for banana peppers and oregano on mine. Kind of bummed that they don’t offer sweet peppers as a topping here, but it’s not the end of the world– still a great little substitute to my all time favorite sub!

Food was great but the girl working the counter needs to pay more attention to the customers and not the dumb movie playing. Maybe empty out the overflowing trash bins? I know it sux to work retail on a Saturday evening but c’mon the place was a mess!

I never understood the big deal about Jersey Mikes. Yeah. It’s better than Blimpie(the few left) but that is not saying much. Every time i go here i leave unsatisfied, they barley put any meat on the sandwich and cheese .your lucky if you get 3 full slices. I’m sorry but if I get a drink, tiny bag of chips and a Sub for $ 12(yeah I still tip the kid who is either taught to make a bad/cheap sandwich or doesn’t know any better) it better be something better than what these guys put out. Maybe in the middle of nowhere this place is good but in NJ they are way at the bottom, it is too easy to find a much better Sandwich shop.

For those that don’t know — Jersey Mike’s is a franchise sub shop along the lines of Subway. Only much better! The quality of food is 100x that of your Subway deli. If you don’t have access to a North-East Jersey or NYC style deli — Hopefully you have a Jersey Mike’s near you. It’s the next best thing. I only give this Jersey Mike’s 4 Star because it happens to be in an area packed with traditional Italian style delis. A few miles away I can get the same style subs for the same price, same quality, only twice the size. Making them on the pricy side. What they do have going for them and what keeps me coming back… the rewards points, and smart phone app. I love being able to order on my phone then go pick it up, skipping the always long line. :-) Earning points toward a free sub is always nice too. Something you will never get in the other delis around town.

Look, I’ve been going to jersey mikes all my life. What just happened here probably lost me as a customer. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I get it, we showed up 15 minutes before closing but that is no excuse. I was with my mother who has been going to jersey mikes since the first one in point pleasant and was so excited to find this place after a long day of traveling. Immediately upon going on, we were greeted by extreme rudeness from a group of 3 young guys working. Nothing but attitude from all of them as they acted like we were a major inconvenience. Few major things happened that caused me to write this review; first of which, the one guy began spraying off the meat slicer with disinfectant with no regards to our bread sitting right next to it. Needlessly to say I just wasted an entire giant sub because it’s saturated in disinfectant because of their negligence. Secondly, when the one kid who was at least bearable friendly asked us if we wanted them for here or to go; the second kid chimed in with«well you have 3 minutes so you can’t eat it here». Unbelievable. We’ve been traveling for 14 hours and just wanted to sit and eat dinner. But here we are; eating in the parking lot because these idiots didn’t have to courtesy to say«hey we’re closing but sure you can eat them here while we finishing closing». This was honestly the worst experience ever and I’ll be taking this to corporate through friends of mine who are franchisees. Aside from the sanitary concerns of drenching a sub in disinfectant spray, their inexcusable behavior is something I won’t forget until proper action is taken. Sorry Jersey Mikes; but you guys need to find better staff.

Jersey Mike’s is one of my absolute favorite sub shops. The ingredients are always very fresh and the sandwiches taste delicious. I stopped in here on a summer Sunday afternoon and the place was quiet. The woman that took my order and made my sandwich was very nice and friendly. I ordered the turkey and provolone on Italian bread and it was delicious. I like that Jersey Mike’s slices the deli meat right in front of you and it is sliced fresh for each sandwich. I think this element really adds to the taste of the sandwich. All of the toppings are really fresh too and taste great on the sandwiches. They don’t have as much of a variety of sandwich toppings as some other places do, but for what I like on my sandwich, they have plenty of items to choose from. The bread is always fresh too and they have chips and other sides to go with the sandwiches. Their menu is plentiful and well displayed and you can make your own sub if you don’t want to order off the menu. I prefer my subs from Jersey Mike’s and come to this location if I’m in the area. Try their subs, you won’t be disappointed.

This place just doesn’t want your business!!! No one ever answers the phone when you call to place an order!!! It has happened to me on many occasions, I work at a local business and when we order it’s usually over $ 100 dollars of food! Guess this place has too much business and too much money to worry about phone in orders!!! I’ll pass thanks

Usually this place is spot on. But, the sub we just brought home was on bread that was hard as a rock. It was unedible and needed to be discarded. If this was our first experience with a Jersey Mike’s sub, it would be our last. And as it stands, we are unsure of whether we plan on going back.

Amazing subs! This place reminds me of summers, down the shore as a kid and that’s where this place started back in the 50’s. So glad they expanded north and nation wide. You’re welcome America!

Awesome! Had a great cheese steak. The regular size was so big I could hardly finish it. Easy bail out off I-287 about 3 miles south of I-80, where the north bound traffic on 287 was starting to suck.

Solid food at a normal price for these chains. What really stuck out to me was the customer service. Really friendly staff inside, clean, and great location.

extremely overpriced, the food isn’t the best sandwich I’ve had in my life but it was okay. The half sandwich costs $ 7.95 and then the regular size skyrockets to $ 12.95 for the smallest sandwich.

This is now my holy grail of sub shops, topping subway and even my previous holy grail Blimpie. This was my first time going and unfortunately it’s so far away so I won’t be able to get back often. Though that could be good for my waistline. Anyway, I had a super sub on white and it was great. Great amt of meats and condiments. The staff was super nice and the location is clean. The brad was nice and crusty(why I loved it better than subway and Blimpie) and the selection is awesome. Yes it’s pricier, but you get what you pay for and I’d certainly pay for this again. This is no bargain sandwich spot and I don’t want it to be.

I liked this location — while the bread was a bit dry, they were friendly and packed the sandwich with plenty of veggies for Mike’s Way, and the service was quick(though the lines were long — not enough people working?). And the #8 and 9 are great. Will have to try a cheesesteak later. Three sizes — the mini, regular, and a massive long(2x regular basically, for $ 10 – 13). A bit more expensive than getting a footlong at Subway, at least, and less toppings to consider. They have a few seats, but nothing for a large group or kids(no high chairs).

Wow I’m definitely surprised by how good the subs from Jersey Mike’s are. The cheese topped rolls were very good. I tried the ultimate club which had roast beef and chunky bacon. The bacon was excellent and so was the meat and all the toppings, especially the banana peppers. Jersey Mike’s is a great alternative to other, more generic sub chains and has a more hometown feeling.
