This McDonalds does that crappy thing were they put the person at the drive thru — it MAKESMESPENDLESS. U can never see the menu & if I wanted a face to face I’d go inside. U know what you get with McDs no big surprises. What is surprising is how unbelievably BAD the quality of service at this McDs is. It is the worst McDs EVER!

Worst McDonald’s to go to ever go to service is completely slow I went inside after giving up on the line outside in the drive-through to get a large fry and a Coke I told the person I wanted extra hot fries I am pregnant and that’s all I want extra hot fries she said OK! I stood there with my Coke I waited I saw the fries I get dumped into the tray then as the people in the back didn’t know what they were doing in bumping into each other I see one girl Make 5 orders that were after me l then get pissed and yell at them to get my fries then they give me my fries I go to eat them there Luke warm I was pissed n go back up to them throw the fries then I get EXTRA hot fries!

Losers! No biscuit breakfast sandwich after 10:30 because it is after breakfast hours?!? So much for«Breakfast All Day». Take a hint & get a clue from Jack-in-the-Box, who serves a complete menu 24⁄7. Your ONLY redeeming quality, McDonalds on Leffingwell Rd., was the polite, intelligent cashier in the drive through who apologetically explained your shortcomings. Now SHE has a future, unlike your store.

I love it and it has been to much fun. I come here with my friends and we have a lot of fun. Food is great! My grandma and her friends will sit and chat while we play play play!!! :) and every time when I get my happy meal I am super happy!!! On Tuesday they close the play area because they clean it. On Fridays in the morning I get my breakfast before school:) and I love it!!! Yay!

Was in the drive through line for about 20 mins. Its busy so im totally fine waiting. I order and get my food. The woman that handed it to me was so rude just kinda threw it to me.(dark hair black shirt?) i didnt see her name tag. I was so hungry i just shook it off and drove home. I got home and they only gave me one ranch for 16 nuggets. Yes 16 nuggets. I ordered 20 and one of the boxes wasnt full not to mention they were hard and old. Its busy. But take care of your customers.

This place is ridiculous! The female Manager with the curly hair is so rude(sorry I didn’t get her name). Their play place is never open, and their customer service is not good! The play place had a sign on the door that said closed, but the door was open so I went back to the counter to ask, and she yelled at me «THEPLAYPLACEISCLOSED!» And turned and walked away. I said, well the door is open so that’s confusing and she ignored me. Seriously! If you don’t like people and get out of customer service! I am not leaving there a happy customer!

This place is not the same as before, the service needs much improvement and the cleanliness is horrible. In side the soda fountains mixtures are not good. Who ever is running this place needs to be replaced.

They are SO slow during their night shift! They go from two windows to one and oh my goodness they can’t seem to get it together. Friendly staff on the contrary, and good quality food they just gotta pick up the pace.

This used to be a great and clean place. The last year or so, it has gone down hill… the place is filthy inside. The drive thru is slow, they never get the order right. Every time I am asked to pull up to the«waiting area» even though I order nothing special. I am overcharged and have to get that fixed. The order is wrong so I have to go in and get it fixed. There is a «lead» who works the lunch time who is rude and simply doesn’t care if the customer is unhappy. The behavior of the staff is shameful. And the quality of the food is sub par… very sad. I will never be back. I have given too many chances and each time, I get burned!

The play area is disgusting dirty. It smells, too hot, dimly lit. I hate bringing my daughter here but her school sometimes has fundraisers here. The one on Whittier Blvd. In Whittier is much better and cleaner.

This place is a hit„ or miss. The service is ok at best. This McDonald’s needs to be remodeled. The restroom is in horrible condition and the restaurant has it’s own distinct odor of dirty mop water. Clean this place up and train your staff… I’m a regular here and you guys manage to screw up my order at least 20% of the time, conservatively

I come here often in the morning before work it get my unsweetened ice tea. I haven’t had a problem with this McDonald’s getting my ice tea wrong. The McDonald’s by my house always gives me sweet tea which I hate.

I don’t go to McDonald’s often but when I do, it’s usually to satisfy a McDonald’s fry or milkshake craving. I have learned over the years to make a point to ask before I order if the fries are fresh because there’s just nothing like FRESH McDonald’s fries. At this Leffingwell location, however, my spouse and I had nothing but trouble on a recent visit. First off, while passing through the drive-thru two different employees, in response to the question, assured my spouse and I that the french fries were, indeed, fresh. Secondly, I ordered a Quarter Pounder. Reflexively, when asked«Would you like cheese with that?» my spouse, who was at the wheel, said, «No». That left my Quarter Pounder with nothing but bread and a patty. And what of those fries? Not only were they stale, they visibly looked and tasted burnt! At every other McDonald’s I’ve been to, agreeing to add cheese results in an up charge. This particular McDonald’s, however, has apparently turned that question around, with the result being customers unwittingly pay for, but do not receive, ingredients that COMESTANDARD with the meal. Asking whether or not to include cheese on a Quarter Pounder, when cheese is the only thing the patty comes with, is like asking«Would you like a hamburger patty with that?». It stands to reason that a customer might look elsewhere on the menu if they do not want cheese on a burger whose main attribute happens to be a cheese-covered patty! When my spouse returned to the restaurant for what should have this time been FRESH fries to eat with our going-cold meals, not only did spouse receive two more helpings of scorched fries, spouse got an excuse from the on-duty manager about our drive-thru experience. The fact that we twice asked for fresh and instead received stale fries elicited little more than a shrug. The fact that we were asked by the drive-thru employee if we wanted to leave the cheese OFF a menu item that already had the cheese built into the price we paid was passed off as standard operating procedure. Meanwhile, our request that the faulty fries be refunded? Denied. I would venture to guess that many McDonald’s customers to respond to «Would you like such-and-such with your…» as if they’re being asked if they’d like to pay for an add-on, and that a lot of us are in the habit of saying«No» to avoid up-charges. If that were the end of it, I might not be bothering to post here. But unfortunately, it isn’t. As it turns out, even our replacement«fresh» fries were burnt. Even the color of the fries was off — not at all«golden» but mustard yellow. I can only surmise that staff were using too-old fry oil, in which case they literally could not serve ANY customers coming and going that day a properly prepared serving of fries!(And in truth had probably already had complaints!) That the franchise operator diminished the food quality with scorched fry oil is bad enough. What’s lesser appreciated is the fact that stale oil poses a public health risk. The more Acrylamides accumulate in too-old fry oil, the higher the cancer risk! It took coming home with a second batch of burnt fries to appreciate that they weren’t one iota better. And yet after returning yet again, what did my spouse get instead of our money back? Certificates for a return trip to guess where? Not just any McDonald’s but THIS horrid location. And the vouchers? They weren’t good for just anything off the menu, but the fries, specifically. Uh, sorry McDonald’s on Leffingwell. You are not going to give your scorched fries away for FREE to us! McDonald’s on Leffingwell in Whittier took our money and we got nothing but a cold, burnt dinner, with nearly an hour’s worth of disruptions going to and fro.(FYI: they don’t print their PHONENUMBER on the receipt at this location; it’s drive back or forgetta ’bout it!) This disaster of a dinner left us with no choice but to show this McDonald’s up here on Unilocal as … drum roll…: THEBURNTFRYCHOPSHOP This restaurant may brandish the McDonald’s namesake on the outside — proudly sporting those familiar golden arches — but in reality it is the sorriest excuse of a McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. That’s saying something, mind you, because a particular McDonald’s in my home town — the OC area — in spite of visiting only a couple times per year over more than two decades, nonetheless almost always claims their milkshake machine is out of order(when I came for a milkshake, naturally). That I would have the odd timing of hitting the McDonald’s drive-thru in my home town not once or twice but MANY times over the years only hear the same specific apology: «We’re sorry, but the milkshake machine is out of service,» seemed ridiculous enough. But food made with stale, Acrylamide-laden fry oil to save a few few bucks for a McDonald’s franchise owner? Somehow I think even McDonald’s corporate would object to that.

Pros: The managers here are very friendly. The lobby is clean. The WIFI is fast. The Play-Place is always empty. Cons There are no power plugs for electronics! The food can be bit more fresh. The atmosphere surrounding the area is pretty ghetto. In walking distance –Taco Truck gone in the morning, but apparent at night! –Little Caesars –Arco Gas Station(Chase ATM) –Weinerschnitzel –Liquor Stores(2) –Coin Carwash

I will say that this is McDonald’s has the rudest most unprofessional ghetto people working here. I have called and complained in the past but it doesn’t seem to no good. Tomorrow I will be calling corporate! I ordered 4 hot chocolates today & I coffee. I only got 3 hot chocolates & I told the girl at the window that it should have been 4 she told me they had only charged me for 3 I said okay well charge me one more. She rolled her eyes turned around came back & told me I don’t have a register here you have to go back around in line!!! Really??? From now on I will go out of my way to go to McDonald’s just so I don’t have to deal with rude people.

Out of all the McDonald’s that I have been to, I have to say that this is one of the worst. The food is never hot and never tastes fresh. The place feels dirty and smells musty inside. There is always a bunch of screaming kids and the staff just don’t seem like they are on top of their game. I love McDonald’s, but I hate this location. No wonder they have a B.
