Busy as always but seating is lousy. Staff needs to figure out how to manage the lobby better. Not worth waiting.

Once you try one of their delicious burgers it will become a Habit you will gladly accept. Provides both indoor and outdoor seating spaces. Friendly atmosphere. Clean establishment. Great variety of food to choose from and enjoy.

My family and I have had a great experience here. The burgers are just as good as the service. All the employees and managers are really good an attentive to their customers It does tend to get busy, hence the line they get to order. Thanks for giving quality food and service…

Hey there, I was there for lunch earlier. Let me start by I love these burgers. However, I ordered the Santa Barbara today and it was cold. Yes, the bread was cold, the meat was cold, it was just cold, And… The onion rings were burned. I know I should have said something but we waited awhile for our burgers and I just didn’t want to wait longer than I already had. You would think if it was that busy, the food would be hot. Please look into.

Went today cuz I had a coupon for a free cheeseburger. It’s no In & out that for sure. Hamburger meat was very dry and the taste was just average. For just one cheeseburger wait was over 15mins. :0 The problem is the cashier taking the orders and telling each customer every possible options for the meals. Prices for the hamburgers and other meals are kinda high imho. Anyways it was free lol In & out is still King lol

If you have been to one Habit, much like In N Out, you have been to them all. This one is clean, efficient and delicious. Much… like them all. Try the Santa Barbara burger for a fresh change on a classic burger.

Hello. Just felt the need to stop by and give credit where credit is due. It’s hard to find great food and customer service. Me and family of four had dinner at the Habit in Whittier. Front counter attendants were all smiles(Justin and Bridget) Cooks and staff helping expedite food were awesome. They had exceptional precision and communication with one another. I was really impressed. Our food was out in a couple of minutes. Hot and Fresh, taste was great! My wife had the TriTip on Roll the rest of us Burgers and Nuggets. Expect us back very soon! I asked for the manager on site(Danny) and compliment him on an excellent team. He was more than helpful with us in making sure we were well taken care of, just as well as the other customers. Definitely a «FIVESTAR» place! Thanks again!

The burgers here are very good, my favorite is the Teriyaki Char, it comes with pineapple. The fries are good but the sweet potatoes fries are awesome. Good burgers at reasonable prices at a casual place, can’t beat it!

Veggie burger is my favorite. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Service is amazing. You can customize your order here so if you’re picky like me, come here!

I like The Habit. It’s like an expanded version of In ‘n Out if they served other items. One of the better fast food places around with fresh ingredients and a good staff. Burgers are good… fries and onion rings always seem right off the fryer. I appreciate their phone order and phone payment option to bypass the lines for pickup.

Came in on Tuesday for a fundraiser at my son’s school. It was a busy night! When we arrived the line was out the door but quickly moved along! The cashier was nice and friendly considering the chaos surrounding her! Since we came in at 7ish in the evening I didn’t want anything to heavy(I’m watching my calorie intake… no giggles please:\) So I decided to go with a Cobb Salad! I see other Unilocalers order this from other restaurants and their pictures look delicious! Mine was pathetic… :(They serve it with shredded lettuce! It’s not good! Theres no crunchiness or fullness of the salad! I was dissapointed! All else was ok… just meh! The Pastrami sandwich could use more pastrami and it would be worth visiting again! I would be happier going to a Mom and Pop burger joint! One more thing I didn’t like was the one guy giving out the orders was tight with the ranch! My kids like ranch with fries and I felt like I had to beg for it! I seriously have this problem everywhere though! TIP for the BUSINESS= You need more chairs in the patio area! Three stars!

The burgers are good, but placing a to go order is confusing. After waiting in line, I was told that next time go straight to order pick up. There is no sign that says phone orders here… Then, when I give my name, they say they don’t have an order. She checks the computer and yup, there it is… Good thing that the burgers make up for the company for the confusion…

I am not a big fan of burger but sometimes you can’t help it. Mostly because they are generally so fattening !!! Iam not gonna say it wasn’t t fattening but the combination of chicken avocado lettuce and bread was really good and my sweet potatoe French frie was delicious… I recomand it !!!

I’m a total In N Out girl, but this place was very close except the fries here. I didn’t care for the fries, but the burger was delicious and I like the fact that they offer a variety of breads for your burger and spreads. They also have a good variety of beverages. I would recommend this place especially if there are no In N Outs around

A lot of great things about The Habit in general. I can’t live without this place. I came here earlier today to get me some lunch and the line was kinda long and busy, because it was on a Saturday afternoon. Long line usually there’s something good about this place which I already knew as I’ve been to other Habit locations in the past. Food: If you all thought I had the burger today, You’re all wrong. They do have some other items beside the burgers. Chicken club sandwich with no tomato. The chicken is so tender and juicy. I really love the idea of avocado being on the sandwich which added great flavor on it. Normally I don’t really eat avocado, but it was so good that I decided to eat avocado on the sandwich. Beside the avocado, The chicken club also includes bacon, lettuce and mayo. I would order that again. Cost: With the meal includes fries and drink, I spent $ 11.66 with tax. It was so worth it. Service: Very friendly, No questions asked. Overall: 5 stars for excellent quality of the food and service. And remember, McDonalds and Burger King are for cheapskates.

I usually order Cilantros for myself and Habit for the Mrs. I pickup Habit first and on the way back home grab Cilantros. It is a 30 minute run from home to this joint and then back home but the entire family has something to dine of their choice. Mrs. usually gets their #1 burger with patty well done. The taste is consistent with the other locations and burger itself is amazing she says. I had their Santa Barbara on Sourdough recently. The sandwich was tasty. However the portion was not filling at all.(–1)

Never disappointed when coming to have a bite here, although they better known for their burgers, I always go with the chicken club sandwich that had grilled chicken – yum! The fries are good but their onion rings are my definite fave and the different condiments and chile bar they offer is probably another main reason I come here :) The kids menu is nice and simple and they include a little gummi hamburger that kids get a kick out of – also let me tell you, this place is a hit with the kids.

In term of their food, I love The Habit. I usually get the original char burger or the Santa Barbara on those days that I am famished(which is often.) While their prices are up there and their portions are a little on the meager side, I think overall the burgers are very tasty. So why the three stars? Because the service at this particular location leaves a lot to be desire. And I say that because I’ve been to other locations and they are not all created equal. For one, the cashiers are so NOT friendly. At all. Good days, bad days, same shit to them. I understand there is a line out the door on most days, but would it kill you to be nice? It won’t, please try it out. There is super limited space inside so if you go on a busy day(which is always) it’s hard to find a table. They have an outside patio and they do turn on the heaters on cold days/night but for suckah like me that can’t stand the cold, it’s a bummer. They are also not the cleanest, be prepare to clean your own table(if you even manage to get one.) I usually always get their strawberry lime lemonade but I diluted with water because 9 out of 10 it’s hella bitter. I still like it though so I won’t say it’s a bad thing. Of course I will continue to come here because, duh, it’s the local joint but if I had something to say in the matter, I would say Baldwin Park has better service and it’s WAY bigger. That is all!

I tried The Habit right when it opened but I don’t remember what I got nor if I was a fan. Which probably means at that time it was just okay if I haven’t been back. I always hear people rave about it and how the burgers are so tastey. So today Me and my hubby decided to give it a try. They have a good range of burger options along with sandwiches. I ended up ordering the chicken club and my hubby got the santa Barbara burger. My daughter got the chicken nuggets. Chicken club– Ah-mazing! I loved it! So juicy and so much flavor. The chicken was tender and it was filled with avocado. Key to my heart. Santa Barbara buger– he loved it. He thought it was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. He is a burger guy so I don’t hear that much when trying new places. Chicken nuggets– were cute little nuggets. My daughter liked them. And it came with those candy gummy sandwiches. I used to love those as a kid! Their drink fountain option I really liked. I liked that it wasn’t the typical soda only. They had powerade, multiple teas, and lemonades in case you didn’t want soda. I got the pomegranate lemonade which I thought was really good and not too tart. I will definitely keep coming here when we get a chance. The prices are reasonable. We paid $ 26 for the meals that came with drinks and fries. We left full and happy.
