We were really looking forward to earing here when we read the wing menu and saw that it was close by. Unfortunately when we arrived we were hit with the reality that this place was going to be no good. To begin, the staff was fooling around the restaurant as if it was their house not paying attention to their guests. We stood at the counter for at elast ten minutes waiting for someone to take our order. While the menu sounded appetizing and delicious when we tasted the wings they were everything but. The wings and drumsticks themselves were a good size, they were low quality having most of the boens broken. The wings were also saturated in frying oil, being the only thing you tasted since there was hardly any sauce on the wings. Between the bad service and the bad wings we will definetly not be coming back.

Came here last night because I was craving for some wings. We ordered the 24 piece wings — Garlic Parmesan, GSP(Garlic, Salt & Pepper) and Mango Habanero and an order of fries. We waited about 30 minutes for our food which is kinda long for wings if you ask me. The wings were all right. We requested all flats but there were some drumlets. UGH. We thought the flavors on the wings were ok it wasn’t that flavorful. I was highly disappointed with the Mango Habanero because it wasn’t even spicy! It was sweet. The fries was the best part of the meal! I don’t think we will be back… wings were ok and service was non-existent. We had to ask for plates, napkins and extra condiments. Really? I guess it’s because they were too busy eating and drinking that’s why. Such a weird vibe there. I will stick with BWW where the wings are bigger, juicier and a lot more flavorful.

Hidden treasure. The best wings in town hands down. They even have a ghost buster challager. 12 ghost pepper wings in 8 minutes. Cust service friendly and helpful. Certainly a place to be. Band on tuesdays and comedian open mic on fridays.

Not happy at all, they took 40 min yo get my order. The girl in the counter didn’t know about her products or maybe because she didn’t let me finish to make my questions… then she said like 4 times that her mom was the owner(so that mean that I can’t complain) We order all flats … guess what happen yeap we didn’t get all flats.:’( My kids like the flavor. To be honest wasn’t bad for a small place but they need to improve customer service, time frame between placing the order and give you the order, pay attention when someone is asking questions.

I come here whenever I’m craving wings. The wings are way way better than wingstop or buffalo wild wings. Bigger chicken wings and juicier too. You can never go wrong with the godfather or the firecracker. Cool little spot in the back. Local. Try it once. It’s worth it.

The Wing Fix is a nice place to get a quick bite. This place wasn’t very crowded and the tables were clean when we arrived. Not like Wingstop. They also have a bigger selection of beer.

Stepping in I was a little worried because Restaurant was Empty, i then told myself«ok its only 3pm, happy hour is not till another hour» and I went on in and ordered my 50cent wings(Wednesday). We tried to order a little bit of everything, we also then found out they were updating the Menu so theres a whole secret menu right now :-) we took our Servers advice and ordered the Stinker fries(garlic parmesan), we also had a cpl drinks they have great beers on tap and bottled, and waited for our food. Halfway thru our Beers food arrived, bowl after bowl of wings they brought out we had a whole new Favorite !!! My personal favorites were the sweet and spicy and the mango habanero! Wings and fries were so good !!! Service was GREAT and 3adults drank and ate for under $ 40, safe to say i will never stop at Wingstop or BWW again. Good Job Wing Fix

I came to Whittier from Los Angeles to get my Cosmo kit for state board and decided to try something local. I found this place just searching on Unilocal.I almost missed it when scrolling cause the icon was of a ghostbusters but I’m so glad I found it. Let me start by saying I’m a fan of Wingstop they’re my fav. But these wings are much bigger crispier and saucier than wingstops. I got the 6 wing combo DEVILSKISS flavor. They are fried to perfection(I hate a soggy soft wing) and the sauce it SWEET and SPICY with chopped garlic so you get a full drop kick of garlic. I ordered DOUBLEFRIES instead of a salad bc I brought my own homemade salad(another story for another time) but anyways I love fries like I love my child so the more the merrier! I’d definitely come back to try they’re other flavors!

Being raised in the LA area and having spent a decade living on the East Coast, SoCal wings have always left something to be desired. The wings out west tend to be drenched until soggy or the sauces are too runny — there’s always something to make me long for the wings from the East Coast. The Wing Fix might not replace the wings from Buffalo or Baltimore, but they definitely hit the spot! Let’s get the negatives out of the way… The only complaints I have do not involve the wings themselves, so I’m not knocking to many points off for these. The first thing I noticed was that I didn’t get carrots or celery with my order. I don’t know if it was accidental or if that’s how they do it; I ordered too much anyway, so I didn’t bother asking. The other complaint is with their dressings. First, they are served in tiny paper cups. The kind that old people are served their pills in. The kind the dentist has next to the sink for mouthwash. This makes dunking your wing impossible. I got Bleu Cheese(because ranch on wings is blasphemous) but it was very thin and runny. There was an occasional chunk of Bleu Cheese, but it was far and between. This ended up unfortunately helpful, as it made pouring Bleu Cheese from the tiny cups possible. Those were the only negatives I had. The positives far outweighed them to the point I really didn’t mind. The wings… I got their original BBQ and Mango Habanero. Both flavors were rich and delicious. The sauces thick to the point where they grab onto the wing; as it should be. The mango Habanero was not as spicy as I would have liked, but I’m an outlier who loves heat. The distinct flavors of mango and Habanero making love on my taste buds allowed me to ignore the relatively mild heat factor. The chicken itself was well done to order on a wok. Perfectly cooked… Juicy, hot, and plump. If they were just SLIGHTLY crisper they would have been perfect. Because they are cooked to order, expect at least a 10 minute wait when the place is empty. I regret I didn’t get their original buffalo sauce as that’s the true measure of a wing establishment, but if what I had is an indicator it will be delicious. A pleasant surprise was their beer selection! They had your standard macro brews, but a small yet decent microbrew selection. I will definitely be coming back. This place has the potential to be my go-to when it comes to wings.

I am disgusted this time around. I ordered a meal with 8 wings, sweet fries and salad. Sweet potatoe fries were super soft and soggy, wings were not crunchy and had a lot of fat. I called them when I got home(5 minutes away) and the girl said if you carry out food it gets like that… So it get’s disgusting when you carry out? I was not looking for free food, but a simple I am sorry instead of justifying it not being cooked right… instead she went on and on about the temerpature they cook and blah blah. Funny because when I was sitting and waiting on my food, the girl brought out another guy’s carry out order and apologized on the wings not being cooked that well. I will not be coming back, not to mention paying $ 14 on a single meal and it is crap.

Nothing new under the sun, the Wing Fix is a place to get wings.
When you find any non chain restaurant you would expect and better taste and higher standard. Unfortunately, the Wing Fix is not a step up from other chained franchises. The Wings are good and big, but nothing is different. The taste are good but nothing special. It’s just another wing place which is convent when you don’t have a nearby Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s a nice little business which just might become another BWW.

I’ve been here before and have enjoyed their wings. The side dishes are good as well. So I was quite disappointed in my lunch today. I decided to get the Wing Fix Bowl, a standard chicken/rice/vegetable bowl with one of their sauces since I didn’t feel like eating fries. I ordered it with the Firecracker sauce, my favorite with its sweet and spicy combination. Took it to go, and upon arriving home I realized my problem. They put too much sauce! This left the rice soaked throughout, decreasing my enjoyment of this meal. Not worth the $ 9 price. I recommend sticking to the other meal options. Or at least letting them know to go easy on the sauce for their rice bowl.

I host the comedy open mic on Friday evenings and what can I say, cold beer and amazing wings. I always get the Parmesan Garlic and BBQ boneless wings. They are so crispy and hot it makes my mouth water waiting for them. I wash it all down with an ice cold beer. Occasionally when I get too drunk I order the fries. Soooo delicious and perfect for the drunchies. I love the is place and wouldn’t give I’ve it up for the world.

I think there’s something wrong with my brain. I vaguely remember coming here with the family with my sole, selfish purpose of eating wings and drinking beer. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong. For some reason this is what I ended up ordering… CHICKENNUGGETS N FRIES These must have been for my son or I’m going crazy. They were standard. ROUNDUPSANDWICH Sliced chicken, caramelized onions, cheddar and rodeo bbq sauce. The wife got this and then realized she hates bbq sauce. I took a bite and couldn’t even taste the onions, chicken or cheddar cuz the bbq sauce was so overpowering… pretty edible though. WHITTIERGSPSANDWICH Chicken, sautéed peppers and onions tossed in GSP flavoring with melted mozzarella. First off, it took an obscene amount of time to get this sandwich(roughly 40 minutes) they apologized because something went wrong with the first one they attempted to make and had to start over or sumn weird like that… anywho…I finally get the sandwich and they totally forgot to add the mozzarella… so it was just a dry, sorry weird chicken philly«cheese» steak of sorts. It was painfully mediocre. I mentioned it to them and they were apologetic and gave us a free order of… MOZARELLASTICKS These were OK. I threw one in my sandwich and it made it slightly less mediocre. Truly, I blame myself. Who goes to a place called the wing fix and orders sandwiches?! I fu*ked up. Sorry, wing fix… I’ll be back for some wings next time… At least I remembered my beer… BUSTERBROWNALE Not too shabby. I was thinking of resolving this year to take less pictures of toilets on Unilocal… But I haven’t decided yet. Did I mention there may be something wrong with my brain?

This is a tough review to write because the service was great and it’s a nice little spot. However, the food was so disappointing that I have to write this. Here’s the breakdown. The location is nice. It looks clean and is well decorated and set up! Great first impression. The place smelled a little too much of whatever«cleaner» they use, but I can’t knock that. Yet the floor was sticky… But I can live with that. Service was great! Very attentive staff and very polite. Food ordered: wings with firecracker(sweet & spicy) and stinker(garlic Parmesan). Fried rice & french fries. Rice was ok… Only my GF would order fried rice at a wings place. Fries were tasty, GF compared them to «Jack in the Box curly fries but straight» I have to agree. Ranch was watery and ketchup was too thick. And then the wings… The reason you come to a wing place, right? Wrong! They looked great, but to make it simple, they had some feathers. Needed to be cooked just a bit longer. And lacked FLAVOR! Bland, bland… BLAND!!! I’d expect the sweet & spicy to be more of one than the other at worst… NOPE! No flavor! Please overdo the garlic or Parmesan! Nope… Just wings. Sorry I won’t be returning!

This place satisfied my wing craving on a Sunday afternoon. I grew bored with BWW and wanted to try a smaller spot. Came here with my gf and decided to go all in. Ambiance was definitely casual and there was only one worker in the front. Service was nice, not exceptional, but nice. I ordered some food and it came promptly. Appetizer: I got the platter which had won tons, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and jalapeño poppers. The appetizers were the stars of the show!!! Onion rings were on point. I judge onion rings on one thing: does the onion stay inside the batter when you bite it? A big check on that! Add in some savory seasoning with the onions sweetness and crunch from the batter = an excellent ring. Jalapeño poppers were excellent as well. Bacon crunch, a slightly spicy jalapeño, and cream cheese? To be honest its probably hard to get poppers wrong but these were better than most. Wings: had lemon pepper, the stinker, original bbq. Then wings were better than bww but were they exceptional? No, I think they could have had more flavor! The chicken was crunchy and tender but the sauces left a little to be desired. Best of the bunch: the stinker. I love garlic and it was the most bold of the 3 that I got(probably because its covered in garlic). Beer: the beer selection here is small and it lacks that sports bar atmosphere ! If you want to watch a game and get drunk with friends this is NOT the place to go. This place is much smaller and only had 1TV. Overall my experience was good and it definitely had great food and good service. I won’t make this my Sunday game spot but if I need some take out wings I’ll come to wing fix. This 4 star is probably closet to 3.75 than 4, but I’ll bump it up for small business owners!

My boyfriend and I had been looking for a spot with really delicious wings and we came across this little spot in Whittier. Environment: It’s located in a small alley plaza ! The store itself is rather small and definitely needs music. However we did come as soon as they opened so they may not have had the time to get to the music. They also only have one TV. It’s an order first then receive the food later type place. They have a good selection of beer and non alcoholic beverages. I would say this place is kid-friendly. Their bathroom is also clean ! Service is mediocre. The cashier was friendly and did as much as a cashier is expected to do. Food: We got the sampler platter that consisted of mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, onion rings, and. C-4 wontons. Seriously, their sampler platter was so good. I almost want to say that this platter was better than the actual wings. O. o In terms of wing flavors, we had the stinker(garlic Parmesan), the black and yellow(lemon pepper), and rodeo(original BBQ). Their wings were okay. Tasted clean and fresh. Cooked right and it looked like the seasoning was drenched on the wings but when I took a bite of it, it was a bit more bland than expected. Still good, just not as kickin’ as it looked. Prices: We got the 24 piece with 3 flavors and that was $ 26.99 The platter, which I highly recommend, was $ 14.99. Beers were average price $ 5 – 7 I would come back for the sampler and to try different flavors ! I definitely want to try the sweet and spicy flavor !!

WOW! Am I ever glad I discovered this hidden gem of a Wing place in Uptown Whittier. The Wing Fix sits in a small eating section off the main street and serves up a variety of wings and other small eats(such as the amazing Jalapeño Poppers). All of the wings they prepare are of the larger(magnum) variety and their selection of flavors is quite good. They do a great Happy Hour deal with .50 cent wings on Mondays and the flavors are literally bursting out of the chicken. I opted to go with the 12 piece wings with Smoking Gun(Extra Spicy Buffalo) and GSP(Garlic, Salt & Pepper) and both flavors were amazingly good. The Smoking Gun were flavorful and crisp but despite the name I did not find them to be too hot. The GSP were very flavorful and you really tasted the garlic which I loved. They are topped with bell peppers, grilled onion and bit of tomato and when eaten together gave these an extra little kick of happiness. The place itself is pretty small with just a handful of tables inside and a bit more outside on the patio. They have a TV inside with sports on but this is by now means a sports bar or substitute such as Buffalo Wild Wings. This place is charming and is a wing place at heart and it shows. They have a variety of combo meals at your disposal and the staff is courteous & friendly. If you love wings as much as I do then this is definitely a place you should seek out and try. My wife had the BBQ wings and really seemed to like hers as well. I will be back soon despite it being a bit out of the way for me.

Really great wings and fun but chill environment. I ordered the Fire Cracker flavor on my first visit and they weren’t hot at all but I like hot stuff so it could just be me. Second visit I got the Devils Kiss which was sweet and spicy and I liked it a lot. Slam Dunk Combo is 8 wings, fries and soda. You could get half salad and fries if you choose. I’m not much of a drinker but they have all the good beers on tap. Check this little gem out when your in uptown! Parking in the back!
