Not a fan. Here for a late lunch. White chili… Better than the rest of our food. Reuben, nothing to write home about. Chips were overdone and had no salt what so ever. Pub chips AND no salt? What the what? Had a medium rare burger, it was more like medium. Flavorless beef. I’ll end how I began. Not a fan.

I did not have an enjoyable experience. Went on a Saturday night and the noise was deafening. Mizzou game was on and they would keep cranking the sound up when they would get close to scoring. That combined with all the people in there and nothing to absorb the noise made even speaking to the people across the table impossible. The food was just okay. Nothing stood out to make me crave going back. Our party was finished eating, and although I did not time the waiter, I believe we stood next to our high top table for at least thirty minutes before bringing our check. The last gripe I have is that no one that ordered soda or water got any refills. He only brought refills for those that had alcohol even though we did request them.

Dragon ale & soft pretzels = yum! The pub club is delicious. Their fries are wonderful. The patio is a great atmosphere!

Trying to find something after 9 isn’t easy. And I get that a bartender has to chat to make his dollar. But not being able to order because the bartender is too busy chatting when the kitchen is going to close and the when he finally acknowledges you he doesn’t say anything but how he hopes the kitchen is still open. And your like no crap, me too. Guess we will see how the food is. At least the food was ok. And the bartender was nice.

I have been here a few times. The experience has never lived up to expectations. The food is good, but not great. The servers are average at best. Expect long waits, average service, and average food. Not all bad though, the patio is awesome. I would come here to drink, but probably not to eat.

Best burger and fry I have had in a long time! Casual atmosphere. Friendly staff. My husband was happy they had Busch in bottles! I read all the reviews on this restaurant. How in the world they would ever get one or two star is ridiculous! Some reviewers just feed off each other. I really enjoyed it there. Was it perfect, no. The brownie did not have enough ice cream to balance the chocolate. Maybe I should take away a star?! How about I ask for more ice cream next time or order something else. Really some of the snobs here acted like they were expecting Tony’s. This is an Irish bar with great food. It should be loud and bad for you. Get into it! This is not the place for a quite romantic dinner. It’s where you go have drinks with friends. Eat too much and enjoy the culture. Don’t change a thing, except that ice cream problem! Stay pet friendly, anyone who doesn’t love dogs is one star in my review.

Be not afraid. We arrived at the Wildwood hotel at 11PM. We were told that the only restaurant in town still open was Llewellyn’s Pub. We were somewhat afraid to go there given the reviews on Unilocal. But it turned out to be quite good. Given the hour and the limited menu at that time of night, we found the place perfect for our needs. There were a fair number of people there near midnight both inside and outside. We chose to sit on the patio. The service was great. A guy named George was the outside bartender and waited on us. When I asked George what kind of draft beer they had, he told me that they had 48 kinds on tap. Too late to try them all, but the ones I did have were fine. They had some decent appetizers for that hour. We got the potstickers, the warm pretzels and the spinach dip. All were excellent. All in all, I would highly recommend Llewellyn’s.

My burger was a little undercooked, but good, my wife’s however, was tiny! Not even half the size of my patty. Good service, atmosphere, etc.

Environment is very cool, but the food… hmmmmm…not the best. Brought family & all had the same thought. But they seem to keep attracting quite a crowd constantly, especially the outside beer garden on evenings & weekends! Quite the hopping place!

Food was ok, just took awhile. Our server did a good job. May try again later.

Disappointing. Ordered cod which my mom thought was good, also the shrimp curry. The cod was nice sized, two large pieces. The chips were ok, not seasoned at all, my mom kept having to add salt. My curry was smallish portioned and overpriced for competition in the area. I was actually kind of excited as the UK is famous for wonderful curries nowadays. What this was was luke-warm, bland tasting and the shrimp were very small for a main dish. There were several however. The wait staff seemed happier to move us through the process than how much we actually liked or disliked anything. Very tempted to give one star because this place has a decent reputation in St Louis and should care much more about what comes out often he kitchen. I would love to rate them up, it’s just next time we’ll go to Applebees because that’s where my mom wanted to go in the first place.

I «may» throw in an extra ½-star and make it a 2−½ star review. We’ve been here a couple of times in the past, but it has probably been a year since we’ve stopped in. Today’s choices for lunch were just ok. In the past, I’ve always ordered a burger and sweet potato fries(love their sweet potato fries), but today I decided to order the chicken salad sandwich. For $ 10, there was hardly any chicken salad(didn’t cover the bread) and the multi-grain bread was pretty dry. My daughter ordered the«Adult» Grilled cheese — also skimpy on the filling. My husband, who ordered a burger, was the only one really happy with his selection. Honestly, I talked my kids out of a stop to St. Louis Bread Co because I wanted a little more for my buck, but we just didn’t get it today. Will we be back? Maybe… for burgers only.

The worst restaurant I’ve been to in West County so far. Consistently terrible service and bartenders who don’t know how to pour. It’s such a great location that we gave the place many, many chances at redemption.

Disappointing. Bad food at a high price. Outdoor area is nice, but music can be loud at times and can’t hear friends across the table

Love the patio but as a pet friendly location our food arrived just as a couple sat down next to our table of seven and the dogs began to shake.(They just finished baths next door) We ended up with hair on us, on our food and in our drinks. The manager said«sorry but we’re a pet friendly site» he brought the check out and said he took a percentage off. We talked about it some more with full plates around the table and he finally agreed to comp. the meal. It was embarrassing and felt really awkward. We won’t be back but just wanted to warn others. They are pet friendly so if you like dogs around you while you eat. Enjoy!

We always give a second chance. The first visit took an hour for and over cooked burger. Second chance…5 people on patio and no one inside. They put us on a wait ing list at 5:30 pm saying it would be a 45 minute to and hour for a table. We actually laughed and hostess said she was serious. They only had one waitress… at 5:30 on a Thursday night? And that one waitress can only handle 5 people? Hopefully she isn’t married with four kids because someone would have to wait to eat super at home!

I don’t know where to start! First of all the service was extremely slow we ordered our food and took about 45 minutes to get to our table. We ordered 1 hamburger and fries, macaroni cheese, and a salad. I’m mind boggled it took 45 minutes to receive this food. Even the waiter apologized for the time it took, you can tell he was embarrassed. The acoustics in the restaurant are terrible. It’s extremely loud with not too many people in there. The bummer is this is the second time I’ve been there. The first time I when is when it first opened for business and the service was the same extremely slow. I thought it might’ve been they’re just getting used to new employees. Unfortunately this time around shows nothing’s changed at all«extremely slow service». It’s a shame I live out in that area in this restaurant would be great for the neighborhood, I’m floored it it’s still in business. I won’t be back.

Ms T and I decided to use one of the green Foodie STL cards and drove south to Llywelyn’s for a beer and burger. We have been to the locations in Webster and in CWE and while not wildly impressed, decided that this was close enough to fill the bill for the evening. The weather was awesome and we found the place really bustling and extremely noisy. That is probably normal although some parties seem to feel the need to yell more than others and it becomes a runaway feedback loop. If you are going for a beer, they have a modest selection of craft brews on draft, although you have to be familiar with them because the menu does not describe the characteristics and our young server was underage and unable to help with descriptions. That will vary from server to server. We could have gone to the bar to get the full description. And of course as is predictable, the one Ms T wanted, they had just run out of. It happens every time. Ms T had a standard burger with American cheese, I chose the award winning Pub Burger. My Pub Burger is served on an English Muffin. We found our burgers to be acceptable. They were not dry, not too lean. They needed a bit of salt and pepper. The English Muffin raised some concerns for me, but actually worked OK. The least good part about the Pub Burger is the cheddar cheese glop that they use. It just needs to be some real cheese. «The caramelized onions were not caramelized, rather they were just sweated. I order my burgers medium rare. Sometimes they are raw and sometimes they are barely pink. This one was about right, perhaps a little more on the done side, but as I said, not dry. I ordered colcannon, being familiar with it from the Webster location. I do like this stuff, but mine needed to be served hotter. It was barely above room temperature when it arrived and then proceeded to seek equilibrium with the room honoring the second law of thermodynamics. Ms T went with slaw. This time it was almost undressed, except with excessive celery seeds. It was pretty bland. If we are really«going out» we are not going to Llyewlyn’s, but this is close enough and just good enough to go back when all we want is a burger and a craft beer. If some competition would open in The Valley, all bets are off.
