To be honest the food is over cooked and under seasoned. The portions are big but the steak came out medium when ordered medium rare, the fish was dry and mushy, and the spinach was a glob with no texture. The service was mediocre as we asked for water three times, bread twice, and watched everyone get drinks that ordered after us before us. So I would say the price is good but the quality is meh.

We have been to Bonefish many times in Centreville, VA, and it has been a flawless experience, making it one of our favorites for reasonably priced seafood. Last night was memorable for all the wrong reasons in Williamsburg… My ginger beer in my Moscow Mule was a bit flat, but tolerable and that was the least of my worries. The temp inside the restaurant was tropical, above 75 F for sure, so I had to shed everything but my t-shirt to be comfortable. The main course was running late so the manager came by and apologized, acknowledging that the meal was late. Then the Sea Bass was under cooked which I absentmindedly did not notice til it was in my mouth. There was no question and the manager came over to apologize, said I was kind for how I handled it with the wait staff. They promptly replaced my dinner with Fish Tacos and did not chrage me for my dinner. The funny part was the end when the waiter asked if my wife and I wanted separate checks… we have been married for almost 20 years.

I love the atmosphere in Bonefish, on Wednesday’s they have bang bang shrimp for $ 6, I like their chicken teriyaki bowl a very big portion and the other dish I like is the stuffed fish with shrimp and crab both are very good. I have tried some other dishes that I did not really like so I stick by these two every time I am there

I am giving this Bonefish 2 stars because I love the atmosphere and they have great happy hour specials 7 days a week. Unfortunately the food is not fresh. I ordered the Maui Maui the other evening and it tasted watered down.(maybe from being frozen? not sure.). Regardless the food is not very good and the waitress we had clearly did not want to be at work. She was so rude and so short we couldn’t even believe it. There was another waitress who waited the table behind us and we really wish she had been our waitress. We go to this one quite often and this seems to be their norm. Along with remodeling the restaurant, they should do some«remodeling» on theirs cooks and wait staff!

Bonefish has the best mussels and ahi tuna in town. The building is undergoing renovation but its no hassle. Make sure you gry the cucumber margarita! 5 stars all the way!!!

I probably go to Bonefish at least once a week. Great service at the bar. Some of my favorites are the bang bang shrimp, calamari, and the tuna bowl. Great food for a moderate price. Unfortunately everything else in new town doesn’t compare in my humble opinion.

We loved the food so much we went back a second time a few nights later. Excellent service! My husband loved the warm bread and butter they brought before the meal and how our water glasses never got a chance to empty. We may even go back tonight, our last night here.

Dinner here at bonefish is amazing! We started with the bang bang shrimp, tuna sashimi and crab cakes. For dinner, we had the pecan crusted trout, tilapia imperial, Chilean sea bass and the teriyaki chicken along with some add ons… lobster thermidor and mac and cheese. Everything eas so delicious and perfect. What a great dining experience! Now we are going to finish it up with their doughnuts and brownie! Omg! Our server Lindsay was outstanding!

My family ate here twice while on vacation in Williamsburg. It is in a nice and easy to find location. Our host and waitress were very pleasant and courteous. Our meals were delicious. We really enjoyed our experience.

Bang bang shrimp! Arctic char, chowder, spicy tuna; all very good for a chain restaurant.

The Bonefish Grill gets it right. Although it is a chain restaurant, the staff is well trained and the food is reliably good. You will likely never be «wowed» but nor will you likely ever leave disappointed.

We are on vacation in Williamsburg, VA. We have our family and my daughter’s family with us, so we wanted a restaurant that was good and family friendly. We found the Bonefish Grill and it was excellent. The food was truly excellent and the service was superb. The kids enjoyed some chicken fingers and pasta, while the adults enjoyed fresh fish, steaks and pork. Everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was great, the waitress was excellent and we left very satisfied. We were not rushed at all. If you are in Williamsburg this is a restaurant you need to try. It’s in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. Enjoy.

This bonefish location exceeded my expectations at all levels. I’m glad that this place has customer service down because the waiter we had did a great job. He was nice, asked at the right times if we needed something, and took our orders. No questions asked or with a weird face. The food was great. I highly recommend you get their sangria(one of the best I’ve ever had) because it paired well with the pork dish and mini steak appetizer. The bread was warm and fresh, just added some salt to the olive oil. We also got the deluxe macaroni as the side and it was good! Tasted clean and not too heavy. If you have a date or take the family, they should enjoy it!

Loved, loved…& did I say loved this place? Seated immediately on a Sunday evening, waitress was attentive & chatty, she suggested the bang bang shrimp which was fresh & crispy, fried perfection with a side of dipping sauce that’s not really spicy although it says it is. The drinks(lemon drop martini in a sugar rimmed glass is tart & tasty) came out as we waited for our dinner selections(grilled tilapia, lobster grilled cheese, fresh greens, lobster bisque, white truffle mac & cheese) all very good although I was a bit underwhelmed with the mac & cheese, aside from that, I’d love to dine here again and try out more of the fresh seafood selections. Side note: Take the bread if offered, it’s baked fresh and delicious with an olive oil/pesto dip.

To all… Please open a Bonefish Grill in the Acworth, GA area off of US41/Cobb Parkway & Mars Hill intersection. Your restaurant will kill it here! This area is in dire need of great restaurants. We’re inundated with fast food and mediocre chain restaurants at best. Your Ahi Tuna, Bang-Bang Shrimp, fresh fish selections, and freshly baked bread… What’s not to love? The drive to Alpharetta is just to great on a regular basis. Please look into the Acworth, Kennesaw areas. Also, a shout out to your Augusta, GA location and your Williamsburg, VA

This was my second visit to Bonefish and I’m still in awe in how Awful the service has been. The only saving grace was the mussels and shrimp appetizers. But seriously — who has the patience to wait for 90 minutes for their meal to be SERVED?! We arrived at 640 and were seated at 645. The meal wasn’t served until 820pm?! Did they go bait their hooks and go catch the fish for the meal? So we nursed our appetizers and wine(2 bottles) while we waited for our meals. How many times did they touch base with the table? Zero. No water refills. Used appetizer plates left on the table long after we finished. Finally when our meals were served, lo and behold, they forgot to place the order for my tilapia! I waited another 10 minutes while the rest of the party finally ate their meal. When asked if I wanted anything — I was tempted to say, «perhaps two eggs over-easy with a cup of coffee since it now almost breakfast time!» — but thought it better just to let sleeping dogs lie. Clearly this operation must be hurting since the nearby college students have returned to class?! I’m not sure. Another saving grace for us was the bartender who spent 3x as much time helping us with service even though she had other duties. I’m not typically a person who complains but felt this necessary. Where was the manager(other than 2 quick visits, and she seemed disinterested with our situation)? This is not worthy of any small hole in the wall restaurant never mind a national chain.

Bonefish does seafood really well. I’ve never had a bad meal at a Bonefish anywhere. They even have pretty good broiled crabcakes. Start off your dinner with their warm rustic loaf of bread which is served with a pesto and olive oil and you order the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer. My 6 year old says«It’s awesome!». You’ve always got several choices from their fresh catch menu and you can have it prepared one of several ways over their wood fired grill. Their sides– especially those braised chickpeas– are excellent and service is usually on point, too.
