Our waiter James was amazing. The food was good and loved the cornbread. The best corn muffin I ever ate. Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes even though we had a reservation, but all else was good.

Vegetarians beware! I went with my girlfriend, who is vegetarian, and her family to this restaurant. We called ahead multiple times telling them that we had a vegetarian with us, and they said they would bring in something that she could eat and would enjoy. We assumed that they would go to a grocery store and purchase some kind of vegetarian meat to cook and serve with sautéed veggies or something, which wouldn’t have been too bad considering they are primarily a seafood restaurant and don’t usually cater to vegetarians, but it would have shown a bit of effort and would have been appreciated. Instead, we arrive only to have the waitress tell her bluntly that all they have for her are a few mixed vegetables, which made my girlfriend very upset. The matre d then promised that they had something better for her, and brought out a few slightly cooked veggies over store bought penne pasta. If we had been told ahead of time that this would have been her meal instead of being promised that she would have been getting a much better meal, at least we would have been expecting it instead of getting our hopes up. It is not hard in this day and age to whip up a vegetarian meal other than mixed vegetables, especially since they had ingredients such as cheese grits and polenta that they used for other dishes. The seafood was okay but the poor customer service and sorry excuse for a vegetarian meal will keep us from ever returning.

Service was not pleasant, a waitress was very rude to one of my family members. We have a vegetarian member of our family and while I find myself as a profound meat eater I respect my sister’s life choices. We called the restaurant 3 times making sure that they catered to vegetarian eaters, and each time they said they did serve something more than a sloppily thrown together plate of vegetables at $ 20 a pop. To our amazement when we get there and my sister asks what their vegetarian option is, our waitress rudely tells her that they offer a plate of vegetables.(A slopily thrown together plate of vegetables, are you joking? For a place charging what they do and they don’t employ a chef who is more creative than a vegetable medley?) After I rudely spoke back to the waitress and manager on the side they assured me they would do better. So alas my sister ended up with a crappy vegetable medley on a bed of boxed store bought pasta. Great. She ate half of it after saying it really was not very good. I told the manager how her food was not very good and how she ate almost none of it and I didn’t even get an apology. He charged us full price for half-a** and half eaten dish of food. The food with meat was also subpar(i’ve had better crabcakes at a ruby tuesdays) for a third of the price. I really don’t understand how a place like that can get away with what they do. My family and I are not returning.

Our server was James! He was great! The food was fresh and wonderful! We are leaving full and satisfied. Dessert was fabulous! Very upscale. Scallops were so tender. I had the fried seafood platter. My husband had the seafood broil platter. They were both out of this world!

We aren’t fans of chain restaurants and saw the reviews for this restaurant on Unilocal were great so we decided to stop. We were casually dressed and when we walked in we did not realize this was a fine dining establishment. Nonetheless we were seated and within seconds, our waiter, Floyd, gave us an amazing piece of Rum Cake! Our dinner was so good! We had the Lobster Bisque, Clam Chowder, and the Parmesan crusted Halibut. All delish. In between your salad and main course Floyd brought us a Mango Orange Sorbet that I could have had a pint of! All in all, if you are traveling and want a fabulous dinner, this is your restaurant! Great service and delish food. Winner, Winner!

Older established Resturant which was not at all full on a labor day weekend. Which was a plus for our party of 12.5. Waitress was professional and extremely knowledgable. The interior is elegant but could not, or would not accommodate our party in a single table. Among our group we ordered; the lobster, seafood ceramic sauton dish(a stew of seafood cooked in its own juices), crab cakes(which are supposed to be award winners), ny strip steak, surf and turf, Wiener schnitzel, mussels, fried oysters, tender loins and mushroom caps, red snapper, halibut, and soft shell crabs. Nearly everything on the menu! I read some Unilocal about slow service so this should be a good test to see if the reviews are true or an anomaly. It turned out food was delivered from kitchen in good order. The prices are $ 20-$ 30 for most dishes. Appetizers were around $ 7 – 10. Why can’t the clam chowder in places like this blow away the customer? I find better chowder in less elegant Restaurants. The lobster bisque was not much better. N liked the iceberg lettuce and the shared chopped salad was a big winner for half our party who partook. The server brought orange Sherbert between courses as a palate cleanser. Older brother tricked sister to eat the whipped butter as «vanilla ice cream» and trade her Sherbert. The sauton, which I’ve never seen anywhere else, was great. The landlubber dishes were all big winners as were the oysters and crab cakes(while very very meaty, not blue ribbon). The fish dishes and crab cake were 4 stars or better. The real winners were the steaks. The side dishes and corn bread were also pluses and made getting up difficult. There were lots of doggy bags as well as uneaten carbs. Ask for the broccoli and carrots as a replacement for the potato sides. Desserts were amazing and killed. The Seafarer and steakhouse is a great steakhouse with good seafood. You can’t be a great seafood place without an amazing chowder. Have the salad and steaks.

Atmosphere is old world, very comfortable and fun. Service is outstanding. Portions very generous. Salads big and fresh, baked potatoes baked not steamed. Seafood is very OK. Nothing fancy, simple slightly over cooked and under seasoned, but a huge step above Red Lobster’ fish in butter floats. Prices are reasonable, wine mark up is also reasonable. Desserts profoundly simple. Very pleasant evening. One note: in our 50s, we were by far the youngest diners!

It’s July 4th Dinner time and my wife, daughter, son in law, and I are hungry after a long, long day at the water amusement park. The restaurant is clean, great décor, and the food server«James» is doing his best among tasteless, ill prepared food.(if you dare go ask for James) Ordered Steaks are unseasoned and ours ordered medium came well done, the one filet mignon ordered well done was received medium well, duh! When approached by the Manager he was irritated that we disliked the ordered fair not that the kitchen had taken 45 minutes to send out anything… my Manhatten was watered down in a shot glass with ice… ok so 1 star as the program does not generate a quarter star symbol. All in all go to the Dennys across the street at least you dine without expectations.. Happy July 4th!

I see why Unilocal raved about this place! The food, service, atmosphere was fantastic! It reminds you of being on a cruise ship dining for dinner. I found myself swaying back and forth like I can really feel the ship moving! I really thought I was there with the décor, the maître d, and service. I will just piggy back on what other reviewers say & say I had a great Salmon dill sauce, salad for two, & rice pilaf. There offering a special on Unilocal $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food but also a free dessert when you check in but you can only use 1 coupon, Found out the hard way.
