Their food is always good and we always get big portions! It’s slightly cheaper than other Mexican restaurants in Williamsburg. The staff is very friendly and they’re great with my kids! The environment is inviting as well. We always enjoy ourselves when we go here. I highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere that’s more laid back with good food!

Just your typical good Mexican restaurant. Nothing fancy. Large beers, good Mexican food and very friendly staff. Great for lunch or dinner with family and friends.

Not good at all. Got. a chicken quesadilla and there was water in the bottom of the dish and it was mushy. No flavor to the quesadilla. Just pulled chicken in a wrap. Husband ordered enchilada supreme and the bottom of the enchiladas were cold. We left and will not go back. Manager was very nice and did not make us pay for the meal that we did not eat.

I am not sure who gave this place a good rating but apparently they have never had good Mexican food. The margarita was literally the worst one I have ever had. The carnitas had no seasoning and were just chunks of pork loin. The tortilla chips were burnt and had no salt. And tiny tortillas. And almost no service. I would go to plaza Azteca any day over this place and that is not a compliment…

The shrimp tacos are amazing. The staff is very friendly and have a good sense of community. I’ve ordered a margarita many times and they’re good enough to have a good time. The large margs are huge but the ratio of alcohol to marg mix isn’t fair. The chips are fresh and if you ask for guacamole, they come by with a cray and make it right in front of you.

Friendly, fast service. We have not yet experienced the place being too crowded. Their spicy mango margaritas are to die for. We are repeat customers!

This was my first time of many to come. I had the fajitas mix ups which are steak, chicken, shrimp, and carnitas with rice beans and of course your Pico de Gallo. My friend had carne asada which had amazing flavor as well. I’m in love with white cheese dip and have too have it wherever I go but it was good and on point.

Love this place! Not too crowded, endless chips and salsa, guacamole made FRESH right at your table, extensive menu includes vegetarian options. The waiters are VERY kind and efficient. I have been here multiple times over the past few years — the food never disappoints and the experience is always good!

Had been told this is some of the best Mexican people have ever had. I’m sorry to think what everyone has been eating to think this is the best. I had ordered a beef burrito and was brought a chicken one instead. I went ahead and tried it due to not wanting to send it back and have to wait for my correct order to come out. It not only was wrong but it was lacking in flavor. Very one note on the flavor department. The service was very prompt and everyone was very friendly. At least they have that going for them. To me it’s not worth the $$ to go here. Taco Bell has more flavor.

I can never find another place that makes their chimichangas or pollo fundidos as good. Staff is über friendly and prompt. The food comes out fast! No complaints.

Both my wife and I agree that the courteous service was the only thing that this place had going on tonight. We were promptly greeted and seated and chips arrived immediately with two different kinds of salsa. Neither salsa appealed to me and the chips were just okay. I ordered a combination platter consisting of a burrito, a taco, and a quesadilla and my wife ordered a couple of seafood quesadillas one with shrimp and the other with crab. She was terribly disappointed with her order and refused to even eat the crab offering as the flavor was terrible. The wait staff promptly brought her another shrimp replacement. My choice was very bland and tasteless and I felt like I were eating for the sake of eating. We will not be back.

Meh… The whole experience seemed kind of sloppy. We got there around 8 so a little after the dinner crowd, but there was still some time before they closed for the night. The atmosphere was cramped. The server seemed to be in a hurry to get our orders in and to get us out. I usually order a margarita, but decided against it. Food was thrown together and not very good. Unlikely we’ll be back and quite frankly, I’ll be surprised if they last long. La terrazza on 60 has got them beat.

This is my go-to Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg. The food is decent but the margaritas are awesome! The wait staff is a hoot & we always have great time when we eat here.

The staff here were very friendly and over the top on being attentive to your needs. Chips and salsa were very good never had to ask for more nor refills on our drinks. Very clean restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. But I have to say the portions were very small. I found the food to be bland and lacking seasoning. Refried beans and there rice were not good along with the tortillas. I ordered the Machac a burrito my meat was tough and bland. My daughter ordered the fajitas and all she said was it’s ok. My son got the kids taco that was ground beef with a crunchy shell. His taco had no seasoning and he ended up not finishing it. I would go back for drinks and chips but not to have a meal.

This is a fun addition to New Town. The staff are incredibly friendly, all smiles(whether or not they speak decipherable English!). The atmosphere is bright and open, with a decent size bar. I think they refilled our chip bowl 4 times. I’d say the food is pretty standard, but the menu is large and has some dishes I haven’t seen on other Mexican menus. I had the bistec alambre, which featured a large portion of tender, juicy steak with sauteed onions and pepper and drizzled with some melty cheese served atop toasted pita bread. My one little complaint is that I had a difficult time eating the dish in its entirety– there was too much meat to fold over into a sandwich and I had a difficult time cutting through the pita bread(even with a steak knife) because it was a bit overcooked. It tasted good, though, and I thought $ 9.99 was a reasonable price. If you’re looking for cheap Mexican, this probably isn’t your best bet. They do have Happy Hour specials from 4 – 8 each night, but I didn’t see any dinner items for less than $ 10. Still, though, I thought the food itself was good and considering the portion size, I didn’t think the price was unreasonable.
