The food was ok. It looked better then it tasted. The onion rings were awesome but the fries were soggy and under cooked. The burgers were ok. On the other hand our waitress was great!

My parents have been driving me nuts to stop in for a sandwich based on a visit probably a decade ago. Well, that memory is dead. You go in and the smell of wet grease fills your clothes. Kinda sucks the hunger right out. There were only two other people eating but service was slow. I ordered a veggie sandwich and it was tasteless and soggy. My parents said the same for their crab cake sandwich and Ruben. Top it off it was not that cheap to match the quality. Too bad because some of the best college food can be found at local dives. This was not the place.

Order a sub or a salad. I’ve strayed from these mainstays and have always been disappointed. Low quality food & lots of beer. The perfect college student restaurant! It’s fun, busy and very family friendly with good service. Aside from the college-​quality food, I highly recommend it. It’s a fun place to eat.

The food at College is good.
Last time I was in there, the bartender insulted me for leaving a tip she didn’t agree with. I thought it was completely reasonable. A complete no no for any restaurant. I haven’t gone back.
Such a shame, cuz their food is actually dope just expensive.

Come here a lot at night for drinks and the bar, great scene and I’m a long time drinking customer. Fully endorse College for a drunk night at the bars.
That being said, my food experience here has been below sub par. Not only did the chicken sandwich bun come lathered in movie theatre popcorn butter, but this was the first time I was served roast beef sporting a grayish hue. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Quite frankly, the dinner I had that night after still tasted like the French Dip I had earlier at College Deli. I recommend a STRONG SELL rating on College Delly.

Found hair in salad. Not only they did not replace the salad, I had to pay for it. I only had 1 fork. Its not like there was 1 fork left. I know the hair thing can happen enywhere its just how they reacted after i found it like nothing happened. Never been there again never will go.

The menu that has over 30 subs with clever names Gives off the impression that it would be a awesome sandwich place… Unfortunately it compares to a Quiznos with service. The sandwiches are nothing to boast about its overpriced and bland. You have to be about 4 beers deep to find this appetizing

Nice little late night spot. A friend and I found this spot by chance. Pretty good Greek salad and it has a nice patio to eat out on. It’s located right by the football stadium so it was a nice location.

Great chill spot. Solid patio area. It’s a Saturday morning & they have a Bloody Mary vary set up. $ 5 and make your own. Brunch menu and full regular menu

This is one of those places that when you move out of Williamsburg, you find yourself remembering it and missing it.
Fortunately for me, I managed to move back, and within my first 24 hours back, I was here once again.
The food is awesome, cheap and the atmosphere of the College Deli is hard to forget.
If you’re living in Williamsburg and you’ve yet to try them, you’re missing out!
Only down side here is that parking is a challenge here. Although I have no idea where they can put more parking…

Subs are large and I really like the bread they serve them on, however they are about $ 2.00 over priced for what you get. They also don’t come with anything like chips or fries.
Soft drinks are also over priced.
I can agree with other posters about the poor service and the servers lack of personality/​friendliness. We were there during an off peak time and still the server only came by 4 times– Once to take our order, to bring our drinks, to bring the food, to bring the check. Drinks sat empty for half the meal.
I woud give the taste of the food a solid 4+, but the price and service drag the rating down.

On vacation here in Williamsburg. Vegetarian pizza was huge. From what i saw, all the food that came out look plentiful and delicious. Just be aware is a college crowd in there.

Enormous portions … surprisingly delicious for campus style food … but the sticky floors will remind you of where you are!
We enjoyed four separate entrees and found each to be of enormous quantity … If I were an athlete at William and Mary and had a few extra bucks, this would be a place to frequent.
The food is also surprisingly good. The blackened salmon was well cooked and nicely seasoned. The Italian sandwich was enormous and loaded with good meats and cheeses.
On a warm, sunny fall day, it was a real pleasure to tour the campus and get lunch on the patio outside. The tacky stick-​slick-​schtick of our shoes on the tile floor made us wonder when the floors were last cleaned, or were they cleaned with beer? Not to worry though … overall this was a great experience.
