Hey! Gluten free people!!! BEST. GLUTEN. FREE. PIZZA. EVER. I have been gluten free for 5+ years and I’d pretty much given up on having a decent take out slice forever ago. Most places the gluten free pizza crust not only is more like corrugated cardboard then pizza, but it’s usually $ 2 – 3 more per pie for the privilege. Not so here, my celiac impaired brethren… It’s good. ITSSSSGOOOOOOOD! I now drive a half hour north of where I live just to grab a pie. I’m partial to the Greek and the barbecue(sub jalapeños for onions, it’s BOMB) but I’ve had a few others and all are legit. I’m really exciting to have this as an option in my life. It’s not«traditional thin crust» style, it’s a bit thicker than that and reminds me a bit of a deep dish and/or whole wheat crust. It gets really crispy on the crust and bottom and tastes great. It also isn’t super dry or chewy(the Bain of many a gluten free crust) and the biggest problem is I can’t stop eating it. And at no additional cost! Give it a try. It rules. Thanks WillHOP!

This is the newest pizza joint in town and I’d dare say the best pizza around. If you are all about the crust when it comes to pizza, this place nails it for me, they have a perfectly crunchy crust bubbled by the oil with the fluffy interior, a perfect Greek style flavor of crust. There sandwiches(from my experience with the Philly cheese) are amazing and well worth it, I don’t typically buy hot sandwiches but will be back for this one again. As for there calzones, they were good, but not the best I’ve had, I think for me it’s because to me a calzone is supposed to be a fusion of flavors within a thick gooey cheese and a little bit of sauce, this one I tasted everything kind of separately and there could have been more cheese, could just be my own weird personal preference though. Overall it’s definitely my favorite pizza /sandwich joint but if I was craving a calzone for myself I’d go elsewhere, highly recommend this place.

Where do I start? We moved to the greater Burlington, VT area a few months ago and have been searching for the quintessential pizza place that had to meet a few important criteria: Great Pizza, relatively close to home(Essex Junction), reasonably priced, delivery if possible, and outstanding customer service. I am very pleased to say we have found a place that meets or exceeds all of our criteria: Williston House of Pizza. On my first call to them a few weeks ago we ordered a pie to be delivered. They were great over the phone and actually THANKED me for calling them and doing business with them. They went on to explain what made their pizza different from others and were actually proud of the product they made. Already, this is a huge plus and something I rarely see in the food service industry. The delivery guy arrived, on time and I went out into the drive to meet him. Before anything else happened, he stuck out his hand and said«Hi, my name is Thomas, thanks for ordering your pizza from us». You could have knocked me over with a feather… A+ for Customer Service indeed. We got the pizza in the house and were really surprised. The pie was hot, and looked and smelled great. We had ordered a large sweet Italian sausage, mushroom and pepperoni. The toppings, including the cheese, were generous, well-placed(I know it sounds a bit OCD, but we eat with our eyes as well don’t we) and looked like quality ingredients. The crust was well-oiled on the outside with just the right hint of golden brown color. You could immediately tell this pizza had been made by someone who actually cared about their job and the product they produced. This was, by far, one of the best pizzas we have had anywhere. The crust had just the right amount of «chew» and the pie was delicious. I have waited a bit to write this review because I wanted to see if the quality and customer service was consistent. We have ordered from Williston House of Pizza 7 times now since that first experience. I am very pleased to report we have not been disappointed in any of our subsequent deliveries. They consistently provide: Great Pizza, outstanding customer service, on-time delivery to my house, and a wonderful overall experience. I highly recommend that you give them a try — I don’t think you will be disappointed!

Best pizza crust I’ve ever had. Light, crisp, not greasy. You’ll spend a couple more dollars than ordering from a chain, but the quality is well worth it. Not to mention the benefit of supporting a local business.

Lots of room, very good pizza.(I’m from Upstate NY, the Home of Great Pizza!) It’s become my new first choice for local pizza. The counterstaff are a little slow in responding, and at times act like they are doing you a favor for waiting on you. But I can overlook that for the great products they provide.

These guys are great! We were stopped in town overnight on a long road trip and they delivered right to our parked RV. Awesome customer service, as the delivery guy said«no one goes hungry on my watch.» The pizza was hot and tasty. It really hit the spot.

We really love this place! Great pizza, salads, and creemes(that’s all we’ve had). The crust is good, the toppings are delicious. We get the greek salad and it comes with the tastiest dressing and large pieces of real feta! The staff is friendly and food comes out quickly. This pace is a real winner!

The pizza is excellent and unique to the area. I’ve had delivery from here and also been here many times for lunch now. Along with the pizza the sub’s, chicken, and fries are great as well.

Been looking for a decent pizza place for a few months. Tried the usual franchise Dominos(no good, no body like it) first, then Donny’s NY Pizza(OK, college crowd, beer & pizza), NY Pizza Oven(OK, same, college crowd), Three Brothers Pizza & Grill(BAD, got sick) and then I was in Williston and tried Williston House of Pizza. They actually make a good pizza, good crust, sauce and cheese. Definitely the better pizza from the ones I’ve gone too.

I recently ordered from this place, not because of the proximity or their menu or whatever forsaken reason other than the reviews left by other Unilocal users. As a fan of Unilocal and a commentator I feel it’s fair to explain my issue and why I gave them the rating I did. I ordered from here because it was nearly a five star rating. Grant it usually a high rating is because of a mixture of categories; service, price, quality and again service. So I ordered by food(delivered) and yes they delivered quite fast. The food wasn’t the greatest but it wasn’t bad. Being from New York I have very high standards of pizza so I won’t down them on that but what really really pushed me to write this was when I got my delivery the person did not carry change, forcing me to give more than what was expected to pay. The person blamed the establishment and said that he was just sent out with no money. No if it’s true I don’t know, perhaps they did or perhaps they didn’t. Regardless the case is I felt that I got robbed. Yes I could’ve called the restaurant at the moment it all happened but I was just frustrated and I didn’t want to hear any excuse. I could go on but I’m just really upset of the whole situation. Note to self and to others don’t order from here unless you have the correct chance.

Love this place! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and quality pie. It reminds me of old Italian run pizza joints outside of Boston. Keep it up guys!

I’ve tried them twice and have been really disappointed both times. The crust always seems stale, nothing is that good. I’ll take a chain pizza or a digiorno any day over this so called house of pizza

Hands down the best pizza in Vermont. The crust is the best, and I haven’t tried a combo I didn’t like. I’m contemplating a move just so I can be in their delivery zone!

Great pizza and great prices. Large pepperoni was only $ 13. It’s a nice Greek style pizza and the salads are big and very nice as well. It’s family friendly inside and their outdoor space when the weather is nice. Service is quick and always accurate.

The gluten-free pizza is so addictive! I ordered the red sauce, with spinach, artichoke hearts, Greek olives, chicken, and jalapeño peppers. It’s so delicious! Next time I’m going to try their pesto instead of red sauce. Not only is the pizza outstanding — they delivered it for us «outside of the delivery hours! «That’s what I call ‘Excellent Customer Service». I will refer this place to everyone I know who’s got a craving for a healthy and AMAZING pizza!

Greek styled pizza has arrived. In New England there’s a good reason why Greek style pizza, is always a searched out favorite. It’s the pizza crust. Somewhere between a delicious New York style of crust and an airy focaccia is the crispy, oil infused crust that makes a Greek pizza. That Greek style of pizza crust is finally being served locally. Now open for business is The Williston House of Pizza. The restaurant’s owners and staff here serve up the best in familiar Italian favorites as well as time-honored Greek choices for local residents to indulge in. You’ll find the Williston House of Pizza located in the easy to get to and easy to find parking in, Cornerstone Plaza. This is the plaza that is located three traffic lights south of the Taft Corners Shopping Plaza on Route 2 going towards Richmond. The dedicated duo that brings this welcome Greek dining option to Williston is veteran restaurateur Spiros Tsimis, from Worcester MA and local CVU graduate and culinary entrepreneur Tom Ly. Spiros is a second generation restaurant operator and has over 40 years of experience in making tasty Greek based foods. His recipes have stood the test of time and are sure to make your pizza, hot oven sub, pasta, wings or gyros choice a memorable dining experience. When asked about what makes a great Greek pizza Spiros was quick to point out it’s in the making of the dough. Adding a little oil to mixture as well as using a no knead style of dough produces the light, airy yet shatteringly crisp on the bottom pie. Co manager Tom Ly also points out the way the pie is made produces the crust that people rave about. Nowhere to be seen is the dough throwing you’d see in an Italian pizza parlor. The Greek method is to hand press the oil infused dough into a seasoned pan. This builds in the flavor and the texture that differentiates a Greek pie from all of the other styles of pizza. Spiros and Tom both agree that«family friendly» pricing to the community is the way they do business. Most menu items are priced surprisingly moderately with many large subs and pastas under $ 10.00. The daily slice and a soda special being a budget busting bargain. For less than $ 4 you get to choose from a minimum of three different types of slices plus a 20 ounce fountain soda. Slices are huge. Many big eaters will find it a challenge to finish a single slice here. For those maintaining a low carbohydrate lifestyle, gluten free slices are always available as part of the special. What about their salads? Their salads can best be described as a Ray Nitschke NFL salad. They are huge, overpowering and top rated. Salads here are generously portioned with your choice of Greek marinated chicken, turkey, bacon, tuna, vegetables and a choice of cheeses. Topping your salad off is a selection of dressings as well as the tasty house Greek vinaigrette. The Williston House of Pizza is one of the few places in Chittenden County were a gyros can be had. Fans of this Greek staple will recognize the soft pillow of warmed pita bread stuffed with a well seasoned beef and lamb mixture topped with lettuce, tomato and the famous and also homemade Tzatziki sauce. It is so good. Other menu choices include: cold subs, wings, hot oven subs with a selection of meatball, sweet sausage, chicken or eggplant Parmigiana. There is even the Greek national dessert baklava. In addition to great food you’ll find several big screen TV’s here so you can always know the score of the big game. Weather permitting patio seating is offered and beer and wine will be available in a few weeks. If you have a craving for authentic Greek food served in an unpretentious atmosphere the Williston House of Pizza is a great place to go. And moms, this place is squeaky clean. They are located in the Cornerstone Plaza, just 3 lights down from Taft Corners. The Williston House of Pizza is open daily from 11AM — 9PM seven days a week. Local delivery is available and MC or VISA are accepted. The phone number is 6624301.

Went in for a curiosity slice and the gal who served me was very nice, but I tried the Buffalo Chicken slice and it was rough. Something about using ranch as the base, or interacting with the hot sauce, made half the cheese remain uncooked. The cooked cheese on top was so oily I had to drain it off onto my plate. The Meat Lovers slice I tried was fine but it seemed like it had sat a while. On both the crust was too doughy on the inside. Pizza is personal, maybe this crust style isn’t for me, but the rest is just too bad. This is a tough location and Williston has good pizza of many varieties. I had high hopes for this to fill the cheap & simple slot we’re missing, but not so far. The portions were good, prices reasonable, and they sell Moxie, so there are positives. I hope the quality improves, we could use a place with staying power down there.
