Palm Beach Tan

The staff here is extremely lazy and not concerned whatsoever about being at the counter when someone walks in. I’ve tanned here a few times and every time been disappointed with bulbs out, rude staff and high prices. There’s a lot of local places that will give you the same result for a lot less money and more customer service. Also they always have bugs in the bathroom or even worse the tanning room. Ew!

Nothing ever works 100% here. Poor maintenance. Sometimes the employees aren’t even in the store and I have to wait at the counter for them to decide to come back to work. How ridiculous is that. This is a corporate store but feels more like a fraternity ran salon.

They will not even honor cancellation paperwork (since according to Carrie they have none). They have BBB complaints up the yin yang that they just go unanswered. Had a disgusting conversation with their «regional manager» Carrie and as I thought Vinnie (also a «Regional Manager» never contacted her making him lazy and a liar. I can’t believe these people have the nerve to call me with the same 90 day refund BS and then she yelled at me because I told her a 90 day refund was unacceptable. But I guess you can’t expect brainiacs who work as tanning bed «managers».
Think I’m making this up, do yourself a favor and google PALM BEACH TAN LAWSUITS. Or look a their BBB ratings. These people are a bunch of crooks and there are endless stories like mine. Please, there are so many other tanning salons, go there but stay away from PBT.

It’s been a few months since I’ve been in here and I’m truly amazed the place is still open based on their customer service or lack there of. Hence why I haven’t been in there in a few months.
No one is ever out front when you walk in and then finally a minute or two later they mosey on out. No smile. No, so sorry I was in the back. Nothing. Absolutely no friendliness. Literally probably one of the rudest staff bunch I’ve seen in years. The place always seems like a ghost town.
When I first went in I had brought a coupon from the nail place a few doors down and the girl said it was pointless to use unless I «just want to turn red.» What’s the point of paying to have a coupon printed that new customers will gain no benefit from?
So, I got a package. They got me! Kind of overpriced for what I was looking for. Went a few times and literally every girl that was working (I encountered 2 – 3) were more dismissive and ruder than the next. Always acting like they were doing a favor to tell me what room I’m in, made me feel like an idiot for asking a question. Hey staff, get off your high horse. You work in customer service at a tanning salon. Stop acting like you are too good for your job. If you are, go work somewhere else. From the looks of it, you sit on your ass in the back all day because no one is ever out front. Seems like a sweet gig to me. So stop acting like it’s horrible.
Basically, if the Sun blew up and we had no way to obtain vitamin D except for a tanning salon and the only place open within a hours drive was this place… And my life depended on it… I’d take my chances on the possibility of death and drive an hour elsewhere.
Yes, it’s clean. Yes, it’s tidy. Yes, they have good beds. Just worst staff ever.

Very nice place. I went there to tanning for the first time for my sister’s wedding and everyone was very helpful and understanding since I had no idea what I was doing. They took coupons I printed off the website and walked through everything with me. I was surprised how clean the place was. It was very relaxing and I would definitely recommend it.

Am so thrilled to relax and take time for myself. I am getting ready for Vaca… yeah and chose Palm Beach Tan. After searching around my area and visiting quite a few tanning Palm Beach Tan in Willowbrook is my favorite. Becca and all the staff are very courteous and efficient. I had an issue with something and Becca was very helpful. I love their beds and this place is always spotless. Very Satisfied..

I have been a member of Palm Beach Tan since it opened! It is the best tanning salon in the area; the beds are clean, strong and get the job done efficiently. The staff is always accommodating and willing to answer any questions. It is always a pleasure to go tanning there. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This place is an awesome tanning salon! It is cleaner than any I’ve ever been to. The staff greets you and is very helpful as well as clear when explaining monthly packages, spray tanning or any questions you may have. Versa Spa is my favorite! I highly recommend!

First off, I’d just like to say that I’ve been indoor tanning for years now. I have also gone to various places, and never have I ever been treated as POORLY as I was treated at Palm Beach Tan. Although the façade seems to be welcoming, the employees are not. One employee in particular, by the name of Becca, was extremely rude, ignorant, and immature during a phone conversation I had with her. She hung up while I was still in the middle of asking her questions about starting a package there. When I asked to speak to a manager, she gave me a very unclear answer and told me I could not speak to him and again gave me an unclear answer as to when he would be back. I also spoke to a gentleman (sounded more like a woman though) that was equally as rude and said to me that they were closing so they didn’t have time for my phone call. HA. It is almost embarrassing that this company would hire people like this. I have made an effort to tell all of my friends and acquaintances to never step foot in there. I have made various tweets about this place saying how awful the employees are and many of my followers retweeted and agreed with me. Tanning is suppose to be relaxing but the workers at this facility ruin it with their bitchy attitudes. The customer is always right and the workers do NOT seem to get that. The amount of uneducated people working there is absurd and I’m actually embarrassed for this company. Also, their prices are WAY too expensive. Don’t even dare asking them any questions either because they will just make you feel stupid. Very disappointed and disgusted by the customer service. But I guess that’s what happens when there are only uneducated people working there. My biggest tip, stick with any other place BUT Palm Beach Tan. And beware of Becca, she’s a real bitch.

Their tanning beds are great, and the place is very clean, all that is great BUT they have to have some of the rudest clueless people working there. They make you feel stupid for asking questions. I have decided to not tan at this location for the mere fact of the employees. If your miserable at your job, QUIT, you clearly don’t like working there. I Recommend going to another location.

I am probably in the top 10 ranking of some of the whitest people on this earth. When the weather is cold my legs appear to be a purply blotchy nightmare and unfortunately when the weather is warm, if I try to lay out to get a tan, I fry. So, I’m either stuck super pale, or get a sunburn.
I had a wedding to go to though and I looked almost sickly I was so pale. My friend David has been a tanaholoic for years and has worked at several tanning salons so I decided to give him a ring and see what he could do for me. I came up here for a spray tan and even though that is so not my thing, it was awesome.
They had a special going for 3 for $ 30, you get to pick what shade of tan you want to be, they can add a scent to it so you don’t smell like funky fake tan, and the machine is state of the art! It talks to you and shit! My tan was very even, lasted for about a week and I looked healthy for the wedding.
Also note that this place is like OCD clean. They keeps the towels washed, the beds gets wiped down with cleaner (I saw some of the staff doing it as soon as customer came out), and the presentation of the store itself is just immaculate. I hear so many things about tanning salons being dirty and people catching ring worm so it’s nice to see that the employees take the initiative to actively clean instead of sitting on their phones texting their friends and screwing around.
