Like my visit to a Maryland hospital ER Unilocaled the other night, I’m perplexed how visiting an establishment during off-peak times often yields worse service than if the establishment was packed solid. Bob E, though only 4 other tables were in use at 3PM today, you managed to leave my water glass empty for the entire visit, you ignored my child’s plea for lemons, and you insisted on putting sour cream — my sworn arch enemy– on my Spanish omelette. Details, bob. It’s in the details. The food was fine, and for a quick stop off of 81, it worked well. Wife was a little disappointed in her healthy chicken bowl serving size, but everyone else went away happy. Worth a 4-star score from me.

The food is garbage here, it never comes out right. Always cold, not cooked all the way, or just plain out super greasy. Need to fire the cooks, and start over with a better selection. I get it, it’s Bob Evans, I don’t expect 5 star food but I don’t expect dog scraps either. My mother in law, grandmother and I come here a lot and the food is consistently poor. We have stopped hesitating sending it back to get it fixed since we have been quite regular customers, more so my grandmother and mil. Now, the African American waiter who I regret to know his name … Is a great server. Always goes above and beyond, I feel bad the food takes so long because his turnovers have to look like crap. I have seen the hostess double seat him one table after another, and he is consistently on it. He’s the only great thing you have going here. Now, the red headed young waitress needs training or to be fired. She spilled coffee on my grandmothers menu, didn’t apologize or clean it up until my mother in law asked her why she didn’t. Coffee on a menu when you open it, will fly right into your face. Sure, we could easily wipe it, no big deal right? But, the waitress could easily learn how to be respectful and do her job. Since, my mother in law got on her, she made a new waitress serve the table. Poor, all the way around. And let’s mention, she doesn’t know her table number if it her in the face. Consistently was bringing out wrong food to different tables, and I finally spoke up and told her she should go back and figure it out no one wants half their meal, the wrong meal, etc. I saw her shortly after take the French toast to a completely different table all the way at the other side of the restaurant. When I finally got my order of French toast, it had no powdered sugar(I had to ask for it after I saw my mil’s doused in it), it wasn’t cooked all the way, and it wasn’t anywhere near being warm. Last, I want to mention we had a coupon $ 10 off 25. It came out to $ 25.11, but would not except it because it was before tax. Okay, no problem. My mother in law adds $ 2 worth of candy so the coupon would work. It still doesn’t. The woman cashing us out, I think her name was Marilyn threw another server under the bus when she over rode the system and did a CPR Code, and made sure the coupon would like it should’ve. Marilyn seemed to be distraught over it, but didn’t mind wasting our time for 5 minutes at check out instead of grabbing a manager. It was just excuses after one another. If you are not the manager, which she isn’t, do not excessively give excuses just grab the manager and let them take care of it. People go out to eat, most of the time because of coupons… If you’re going to make it a skip and hurdle to get the transaction done by using a coupon, don’t put out coupons and I would say that’s corporates fault. I will rather bear the wait times at Cracker Barrel, then to waste my time here anymore. I will always get cooked food there the way it should be, without a problem and it will always be consistent. Good riddance, Bob Evans!

Everything went smooth here. The wait staff worked as a team which was a great surprise. Our drinks were continuously filled, food brought out in a timely, clean, and friendly. I also tried the chocolate and cherry pancake special, delicious. I wish they had it all the time. This Bob Evans is one of their best locations.

This place is truly a place to consider when planning gatherings or not wanting to cook. This Thanksgiving I couldn’t be with family and didn’t want to cook a large dinner for my bf and I. Bob Evans really impressed me on how they accommodated my order and even when I called to change the pick up time, they worked extra hard to give me a hot meal with all of the fixings. What a great team this one has. From greeting me at the door to checking my order to make sure it was complete. A sample turkey dinner and dressing came with baked sweet potato and green beans. A meatloaf dinner could come with Mac n cheese and home fries. Each with rolls or choice of bread. We had pumpkin. Also choice of soup or salad. Each cost $ 12.99. Really tasty, smelled like we cooked it, and no dirty dishes. They had meals for 4, 8, and more plus have lunch and breakfast options. So never wonder what to cook, just go here.

Just what you would expect from a chain like this. Fast, inexpensive, clean. As a bonus they sell circus peanuts(yes the orange sponge Luke candy’s)

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Memorial Day Weekend no less. Figured on a log wait, but we were seated right away. Service was friendly an efficient. Got the usual pancake egg meat combo. Grandaughter, 11 years old, just wanted pancakes and bacon, but later added hash browns. No problem. They came iut quickly and she loved them. Reasonably priced. Everything cooked as ordered. Went back Sunday morning, same weekend. Service was a little off. No refills even offered. Food was still cooked as ordered. Aside from the service problem the second day, grandaughter declared Bob Evans her second favorite restaurant.(First is a local steak house back home in NC) She decided that for her birthday breakfast, we would go to our«local(local being an hours drive away)» and everyone would be required to get HER pancake breakfast, although, she did decide we could get sausage instead of bacon since she knows her Mom and I love Bob Evans Sausage. We probably will end up there on her birthday. *They have a selection of baked goods you can purchase«to go». We got a box if chocolate chip cookies. YUM!

This location helped us plan a catered breakfast for our guests the morning after our wedding. We were looking for an economical, flexible way to thank our out of town guests before they hit the road or airport without it being another major event to plan out. The staff was extremely helpful in putting our order together, and was on-time with hot food and all service items we needed that morning. I would definitely recommend them for similar applications based on our experience.

Just remodeled! Very nice. Was here by accident sort of since IHOP had lost their heat! Anyway, breakfast was good, French toast very nice, plenty of hot coffee too. I ordered the Classic breakfast, which was competitively priced. My friends noticed the creamer for the coffee looked like rice milk, not cream. Didn’t matter to me since I don’t use cream. Also offered me coffee to go, which was great! This is a good place for breakfast.

Keep your eyes open, as it is immediately after you exit Route 81. Same great menu as all Bob Evans. Service was great, but was surprised to learn that this one stops making grits after 2pm. Was told they would have to make a fresh batch, but had a feeling mine were actually left sitting out since 2pm and this was late dinner time. Most of our food was very good, especially the breads(banana nut and blueberry choices on this visit), but these grits were extremely dry and almost rock like. If everything had been as bad as the grits, then would have complained. I was warned ahead of time, so did not. Words of advice to restaurants that serve grits: Grits cures all. Especially to those traveling all day long. So even though they were extremely dry, they did the trick. Bob Evans is always a place to trust while traveling.

I had the Homestead Breakfast. It was ok but I did notice that the namesake sausage they used to be famous for has suffered a change for the worse. I buy their sausage and prepare it at home, plus I have been a patron for many years so when things change I notice. The caliber of sausage they serve in their restaurant is a couple notches below what they sell in the grocery — and what they used to serve to the public. The biscuits were very good as usual and the hash browns were ok also. The service was also good even though they were busy.

I know many local people love Bob Evans but I really can’t see anything good about it. My service there has always been slow. This particular location isn’t very clean either. Mix with that the well known fact that EVERYTHINGISOUTOF A MICROWAVE and you’re gonna have a bad time! If you’re in the mood for breakfast, do yourself a favor and go across 81 and find a table at the local CrackerBarrel. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did!

Stopped for breakfast on a Monday morning. Quiet place. Food quite good but service, while friendly, was somewhat off the mark. Had to go find our waitress who was engaged in a lengthy conversation on other side of restaurant to get my check. Fare a bit pricey compared to some other spots in the area.

Average chain restaurant. Stopped in for breakfast and they did a good job. They are known for their sausage(duh Bob Evans) so anything with sausage in it is a plus.

Never been to a Bob Evans before today. Invited by a friend. I had the Denver omelette with biscuits and grits. Fully met expections. Friend had scrambled eggs prepared exactly as requested, «Medium,» not too runny, not too dry. Clean facilities and friendly and efficient staff. Will keep this on the list for a return visit when in the area.
