This Cracker Barrel is pretty good however over the years I’ve noticed two things. I do not like having to ask for the complementary biscuits and jelly. At most Cracker Barrels the waitress immediately greets you with a plate of complementary biscuits and jelly while you wait for your food. At this location, you have to ask. After asking, they typically wait to bring the biscuits with your meal. The second thing is the wait staff seem to be in a hurry to give you your bill, after which you never see them again. My wife is a slow eater, so I typically finish early and drink tea while I wait on her to finish. Unless I ask another waitress to help me, I’ll be sitting for 20 minutes without a drink. That being said, the food is very consistent with other Cracker Barrels.

If you go slightly off peak times, there is generally ample parking and no wait compared to other Cracker Barrels that seem to be perpetually busy. Servers are friendly and while not always efficient, seem to have each other’s back when they need it. One server we’ve encountered a couple of times who demonstrates this is Esmeralda who was great when she was our server, but recently came to take care of our refills when our server was busy having noticed our glasses were empty. Haven’t had a bad meal or service yet, only average to great on both.

This Cracker Barrel is consistent with all of the others in the nation, with the detractor that the services is lacking here. The food is fantastic when you actually get it, but our small party of three wasn’t able to get drinks or food in a timely fashion yesterday, and when we did get food, some of the items we’d asked for were missing. Our drinks weren’t refilled unless we specifically asked for them. Our server was curt and did a lot of glaring(I believe her name was Diane, although she certainly didn’t tell us and we saw so little of her that it’s difficult to be sure). Apart from the poor service, this is an excellent stop-in for predictably yummy carbs and meats. My personal favorite is the Country Fried Shrimp — yum yum! Despite the service, we’ll continue to return, because — it’s Cracker Barrel. Though, we may drive the extra few miles to the one in Front Royal, because that one is on point with their service.

Our server was Excellent!!! After coming back from a camping trip, we were tired and starving. Our waitress inquired about where we were coming from and our food was out immediately. Which we were so grateful for! And everything was well done. This was the first Cracker Barrel I felt welcome. We were also seated rather quickly on a busy Sunday. Everything was great from the hostess to the cashier to the rocking chairs :)

Had the Chicken N’ Dumplins and they were very good. Very nice place to eat. Even if you have to wait, you can just shop the neat little store that you can find in every Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

We love stopping at Cracker Barrel on road trips. No complaints here. I need to post these 3-star reviews to show the places that are A-OK to eat so that the restaurants that get 4 and 5 star ratings from me stand out as something different or extraordinary. My family loves Cracker Barrel and always wants to stop there. I guarantee we’ll be back.

Loe Cracker Barrel but tonight’s visit was different. The waitress was sick. She was sniffing and coughing at our table. She accidentally dropped a tray of drinks on my 7 year old daughter. I understand accidents happen but what got me was the manager. He comped the kids meal and dessert from the check which was nice but I did my year him say I’m sorry at all. He was a bit rude. Also the mug my daughters root beer came in had a Huge crack all the way down it.

We ate here on a busy Friday night. Even though we ordered the grilled catfish, we got our food fast. The best part of the meal was our waitress. Ashley D. was a gem. Cracker Barrel gives you great food for a cheap price.”

As always, Cracker Barrel never let’s me down. Took my new bride there for breakfast and she loved it also. Biscuits still on point.

I recently discovered Cracker Barrel and am now a huge fan! I love their country fried chicken, with sweet potatoes and mac and cheese. I am also in love with their apple pie dessert. It’s awesome. In front of the restaurant, there’s a store with lots of random country stuff. After eating a big meal, it’s fun to walk around. I will definitely be back! :) Food 5/5/ Service 4⁄5 Atmosphere 4⁄5 Price 5⁄5

We arrived as a party of four and were seated quickly. However, within minutes, we needed to add two more to our dinner party. Our waitress was super nice and relocated us to a new table and set us up at a new table even though it was more work for her. When we all asked for separate checks, she was very accommodating and didn’t break a sweat. They are so great with customer service here! The food was also very good. You can’t go wrong with buttermilk fried chicken. Yummie!!! To top it off, we got a blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It was only $ 2.99! We couldn’t pass it up! Love Cracker Barrel!

Cool, Americana country-style store– huge with lots of merchandise. Very crowded and loud. Minimal service. Food prices are good, and if you’re lucky, you get what you pay for. We thought the quality was pretty poor.

Love me some country food! Mmmmmm biscuits and corn bread. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Love the mac n’ cheese. The shop is filled with eclectic stuff and smells like grandma’s house. I will always love this place.

Recent visit to Cracker Barrel: «Spicy» grilled catfish, with sides of steak fries, cole slaw, and broccoli casserole. The spicy is not particularly hot, but seasoned would be more accurate. It’s grilled on a flat grill. The cole slaw is fresh and crunchy. The broccoli casserole has cheddar cheese and bread crumbs. Excellent meal for under $ 10. SEEPHOTO. I didn’t used to be a fan of Cracker Barrel because of the predominance of heavy fried«Southern» dishes, but you can pick and choose and get quite a number of menu items to suit your taste buds. The flat-iron grilled haddock is also good, as is the lemon trout. On this visit, there was a slight«oops» in that the meal served to wife still had some dried egg yoke on the plate from breakfast – not just a speck, but perhaps at least an inch or more in diameter – and I politely pointed it out to the waitress who was really embarrassed – clearly at least three sets of eyes missed this – the dishwasher, the cook, and the server – she replaced the meal in minutes, brought back the check and said that wife’s meal would be «comped” – which we didn’t even ask for. I totally appreciate their pro-active approach and politeness to a legitimate sanitation concern.

Corporate consistancy and cleanliness is sometimes a plus. There are those times when you are traveling when you just want some consistantly good food and outside the urban areas Unilocal is not always there to lead you to the right location. In those cases places like Cracker Barrel come into play. Cloyingly consistant accross the chain, this place offers solid country food(not mind blowing, but consistantly good). Love their fried okra and the baked apples that you can get, and the bread is also of consistant quality. I would rather explore the local businesses but when you are on the road sometimes you just want a good meal before you crash into bed.

Ate here twice on one road trip. Needless to say it was fucking awesome. Fried chicken with white gravy is to die for. It’s also cheap as hell here.

A family tradition to get Thanksgiving Meal here the day before Thanksgiving. Not sure why they are open on Thanksgiving Day, not happy about that. Cracker Barrel is like going home to Moma’s. Wish there was one closer to us but it’s a nice treat when we get to stop in and shop and eat some good food. Thanks for always being the same no matter which one we go to.

Fast service, but very bland food. Salsa is dull and tasteless, and ham was very salty. Roast beef sandwich was dry and bread was stale. Very busy at breakfast time on weekends.
