I enjoy an All Star breakfast at our Pleasant Valley Waffle House. We’ve made friends there amongst the staff and appreciate the HELLO when we open the door and walk in. Decent food at a decent price.

I needed a restroom open at 6 am and this was the first open place I saw. Once the urgent business was done, I sat down for a quick meal. Waffle house so let’s try the waffle, right? Well, we are so far away from Belgium here. Their waffle has more to do with the Eggo type than the Brussels’ ones! They obviously haven’t adapted to modern times, no fresh fruit to order to put it on the waffle and no maple syrup either. I settle for some butter as I can stand the sugar concoction they serve as syrup. An outdated chain. The only plus is that, they have restrooms and the personel is friendly.

Just love my All-Star Special: eggs over medium, extra crispy bacon, scattered-smothered-covered hash browns, and extremely well-done(almost burnt) waffle. This is my consistent order at ALL Waffle Houses and they are great about making it the way I like it. This location was no different. Each location’s staff is different and their service is what sets them apart. The service at this location was good and so was the experience. Looking out for the exceptional one in the future…

As a fan of hash browns, sunny-side up eggs and no-frills bottomless coffee, this is a favorite stop of mine when I’m in Winchester. The area may continue to develop, but Waffle House holds on with its retro charm.

Greasy, tasty, cheap as hell. I live in California, so when there’s a Waffle House, I HAVE to eat there. I never do more than once, though, ’cause it’s greasy as all getout. That said, though, the hash browns are absolutely phenomenal, and the country gravy with sausage is amazingly artery-cloggingly good. The people there were SUPER duper nice. Great for a greasy stop-in. I got dinner for two and it was like $ 12. Incredible.

Hey, it’s a Waffle House, so don’t expect haute cuisine. Waffles are tasty, and the chop steak is very good if ordered well done. Service is fast and after a few visits they know you and what/how you like your food. Omlettes are probably the down side — tend to be runny. Bacon also tends to be crispier than I like, but wife likes it. Very good sausage.

Open. On. Christmas. Day. Seriously, need I say more? Ok, this is Waffle House. It’s not the Inn at Little Washington. If it was I’d be so horribly underdressed… and yet, not the slightest bit self-conscious. That’s how I roll. The place is clean. Super clean. I watched them mop the floor while I was there. It wasn’t one of those mop-jobs where someone pushes water around on the tile floor and that’s that. No, I watched the scrubbing of what looked like an already clean floor to me. Food? Yes, I had food. Coffee? Oh yes, I had coffee. Greasy? Actually no. Let’s see you cook your own hash browns using less oil. It was all good. People there were as friendly as could be. Yay! I’m a fan.
