While corporate has gone under, this franchise of Daily Grind is a bright spot for busy on-the-go people who need their mega(24-ounce) latte made fast and made right. This is my daily stop for every day I work in town. Very friendly owners, always remember my order, and I always walk out with a great coffee to go. Not a typical lounge-y coffeehouse like the downtown original DG, but that isn’t what I am in search of here.

This place is easy to forget about because it’s hidden over behind golden corral and a hotel(near costco). But it’s worth visiting, for sure. They always have pastries and baked goods in the display case, pretty much any type of coffee drink you could want, and service is always fast and friendly. They carry Harney & Sons organic teas(the Egyptian Chamomile and Peppermint varieties are super yummy!) and VEGANCOOKIES from Alternative Baking Company. There is also one vegan item on their food menu… a veggie wrap! It’s pretty huge and comes with a side of potato chips and a pickle. The wrap itself is hummus, lettuce, cucumber, sprouts, bell pepper, and I think tomato(we were so hungry, it’s all a blur!) in a spinach tortilla. It was delicious. There were plenty of places to sit, though they were all wooden tables and chairs. There used to be a comfy couch and some upholstered chairs in there back in the day, but I’m assuming people spilled coffee all over them or something. Regardless, it’s still a cute and comfy place to chill and have a bite to eat or a drink and they have lots of magazines and newspapers for you to read while you’re there.
