Red Lobster

Standard Red Lobster experiences — we’ve been here a handful of times in the past few months and have not had any issues. Lunch prices have crept up, but still a good deal for the amount and quality of food you’re getting.

Finally Red Lobster got it right! I ordered the crab legs, they are large and delicious on several visits I made to this restaurant. I usually go to Joe’s Crab Shack because of the larger size but that has changed, so now I go to Red Lobster. If you want professionalism, an infectious smile, and courteous service, Carly is the answer. I get OK service there usually but if you want outstanding service and a pleasant dining experience ask for her! I’m not a friend, family member or have any interest in her other then I like to have quality service!

Food was good but we were seated by the kitchen. Really detracts from the dining experience. Got lobster… the grilled one was over-​cooked and tough. The rest of the meal was good.

No reservations, not even call ahead Seating on Valentines day. Boo! Thats badd juju for your loyal customers. But, Michelle was awesome. Beautiful inside and out, even after all the hours she had already worked, she had a flawless performance as our server and even went above and beyond to make sure our feasts were perfect even though we had our opersonal tweaks to the delicatessen. Even recommended a great dessert. Drinks were never empty, and she seem to never break a sweat. Great job!0

Boring, buttery and not fresh tasting. Close down the restaurant and convert this business into a biscuit factory. The biscuits are the reason this place is still open.

I have ordered Seafood Bake 3 times here. Very good value and also tasty. Lobster tails, shrimp, mussels and other seafood on a bed of pasta. What a party in my happy stomach!

Not too bad. We went in on a Thursday for the Endless Shrimp. The first serving of shrimp was delicious, but then the second and third rounds were extremely SALTY. It’s like they really tried to get us to stop eating that shrimp.

When we got to the door, a gentleman held the door for us and we were promptly seated. Our server, Megan, was very polite and very knowledgeable and had a smile.(I always take note of that. She seemed very friendly) Food was pretty good. A bit pricey and my garlic shrimp were a bit too buttery for my taste but my girlfriend LOVED her crab legs. We enjoyed our dining experience and will be back!

We have enjoyed our date nights here. We usually head here after a movie or shopping at the mall. I enjoy the snow crab legs. The drink menu is great. We have always had excellent service here.

What was I thinking? After watching the crab leg commercials for RL, I went for dinner.
Other then beer and my salad, everything else, biscuits, potatoes, corn, crab legs, pasta was sooooo obnoxiously SALTY!
I add salt & pepper to my food, but was so bad. After 4 bites, my lips were so shriveled from the salt.
They offered something else. If everything in front of u is salty how can they fix the problem.
Oh yes, my, side of pasta and theirs in the menu… haha!
This will be one of my most horrible meals!
My bartender server did a great job.

Wonderful evening. The hostess were the BEST! The food was good. Nice atmosphere. The place was clean and the bathrooms were tidy.

Most over rated restaurant in America I wouldn’t take my dog here to eat. Some people in this world have no clue what seafood really is.

We went during the ENDLESS SHRIMP promotion ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! and HAD THE BEST SERVICE EVER! Yes, there were lots of people but the bar staff (where we ate) truly worked as a team and the way the food came out effortlessly is was like they had rehearsed it. Good job Briann and team! Food was tasty too.

Since I was a child I have always loved this restaurant unfortunately my parents decided to take me there for my 26^th birthday dinner along with several of my family members. I found the atmosphere to be great but the portions were extremely small. A $ 30 plate of food ended up being about 8 mouthfuls of seafood. The rest of my meal consisted of buttered noodles. My elderly parents refused to let me raise the issue with the waitress or the manager on duty however their food wasn’t the greatest either they ordered crab legs which you had to perform surgery on in order to get a mouthful of food out of. In my opinion the meal was terrible terrible. Especially considering the amount of money that we paid for it. I will not be going back there for any more family dinners if I can help it.

This was not our best dining experience at red lobster. Server came over quickly and took order. Biscuits and drinks came quickly. But it took a half hour for our meal to arrive. Then we had to ask another server to get ours so we could order desert.
Had the lobster, scallops and shrimp plate. Was ok but not worth the wait. The carrot cake tasted like store bought and just so-​so…
All in all — has this been our first visit — it would be our last.

The atmosphere is great, there are many servers but it still took 20min for the only thing I wanted, a clam chowder. I wish they offered military discounts.

Came here last night for dinner, had a minor ordeal with our seating arrangement but that aside our waitress was great. I had the lobster pizza which was a bit salty, even the waitress said a few people had told her the same thing (not sure why the problem hadn’t been solved yet then? heh), but it was still edible. Mom had one of there 4-​course meals, she said her pork chop was tough, and the brownie and ice cream dessert was a bit on the small side.

Was hoping for an average take out meal…
Arrived back in town from the left coast and wasn’t wanting to cook, so had a gift card for Red Lobster that was expiring. Anyway, gave up eating at this chain well over 10 years ago and will go another 10 before attemting again. Here’s the quick details:
Ordered by phone and the staff person was courteous and seemed attentive. Good start. Ordered a wood grilled meal consisting of scallops, shrimp and a lobster tail over rice pilaf. Sald and their bizkits. Sounded good. Order ready promptly and curbsided by a another courteous staffer. All good there. Got home opened up the bag ‘o food and put it on a plate. Looked good. THEN thought i’d eat it… HORRIBLE! No taste, defintely straight from freezer. Disappointed and lesson learned. Good service and bad food.
It’s just another chain which I typically don’t patron. Sorry Red Lobster, you’re just not for me these days. Was great back in the 90’s when I had a budget.
2 stars for the really good staff.

Food poisoning. need I say more? Violently ill with 3 hours of eating a shrimp skewer, wilted (not intentionally) Caesar salad and grilled trout. Probably the shrimp since I only ate 2 of them because they were sort of slimy.
However, I have to say that RL corporate responded to my complaint promptly and gave me a gift card for another meal. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly.
I like RL. Don’t get me wrong. But I won’t eat there again. They did try to make amends. 2 stars for that.
My seafood craving will be served by Joe’s Crab Shack now.

I LOVE the Red Lobster here in town, the service is always great, the drinks are always good and the food is always fresh. I love the snow crab legs and the Lobster nachos. It’s as close to Myrtle Beach seafood shacks as it gets in Winchester, VA.
