I went through the drive thru and was met immediately with a rude attitude that just simply said, «welcome to burger king.» They repeated the same thing again this time with more impatience as I didn’t get a chance to say much of anything because I was just amazed at the rudeness I had just received. They didn’t ask to take my order, nothing. I asked what the surge drink was because I am from Middletown and came out here for a Servesafe class. We had a lunch break so I figured bk would be a great choice. It was the worst attitude I have ever received through a drive thru speaker. I can understand if I being a customer was snippy myself but I didnt get a chance to talk and I just ordered a drink nothing more. Me being a manager myself at Wendys, this baffled me. Now I went to the window, the register operator put out their hand to me as indicating for my money, did not say one word to me the whole time. Didn’t tell me what I owed, nothing not one word. I handed her my money and she handed me the drink, with no receipt, and I drove to the front into a parking space. I got the store phone number and called. Spoke to a female manager and she seemed to be very uninterested about my complaint. I would not have called to begin with if I had just got my receipt I would have just done a survey review, but because I didn’t get one I will put my experience on here. Very disappointed, as I love the Burger King in my town.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch after arriving at Bradley International Airport before heading north on I-91. Ordered my usual Double Whopper with Cheese(low carb) sans bun — with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion — and asked for the cheese to be melted. Plus a bottle of water. Burger was made to order and served in a small plastic tray with knife and fork. Burger was tasty and hit the spot!

I don’t go into a BK expecting fine cuisine, but I do have some basic expectations. Well, yesterday those basic expectations were not met . I have one hour for lunch, and needed to pick up a parcel at UPS in Windsor Locks, so that didnt leave a lot of time for lunch options. I figured BK was a solid choice to get in & get out fast and have an OK lunch. Counter service was incredibly slow. I got my cup for the self-serv beverages, went to fill ‘er up, and guess what? The freaking ice machine was broken. No ice. Finally my burger and rings came out. I went to the ketchup dispenser, and guess what? The freaking ketchup dispenser was broken(see photo). Wouldn’t you think that ice and ketchup should be pretty important to a place like BK? Doesn’t this place have any shred of pride?

hey, it’s a BK. that’s all you really can say. except — the décor here is airport themed(it is right by Bradley International Airport). a big plane on one wall, etc. the drinks are dispensed in «the beverage claim area». kinda cute and 80s kitschy . my milkshake was just fine, as expected.
