First and last time at this restaurant! When ordering the nachos and inquiring about the chili on them we were assured by the waitress that this is a higher class establishment. Um, that would be false. The nachos were barely edible between the chili(which was just hamburger with some sauce on it) and the small round chips which were scorched by the oven. His baked stuffed jumbo shrimp… Not jumbo! Not even close. The stuffing was an interesting shade of yellow and overwhelming with onion. My filet with Gorgonzola was interesting. It’s prepared in wine which I’m generally in favor of but they chose a very sweet wine which really countered the Gorgonzola and made the steak itself too sweet. It took until my meal came out for my glass of wine to show up which the waitress apologized saying the bartender«f@cking disappeared». That was pretty classy. And as some of these other reviews mentioned, we too enjoyed the company of the fruit flies which came from the bar. At a Tune of $ 80… Um we would rather dine anywhere else.

I’d like to start off by saying I worked here for over 5 months. This place is an absouloute disaster and I’m dumbfounded with how they are able to keep there doors open. The food is straight up nasty, I can’t begin to tell anyone reading this how many voided checks get put on the host desk simply due to under cooked meat, to hair being in it, to things as bizarre as staples being in meatballs. Yes u read that right staples. The food is prepared by a bunch of old pedophile looking men if u saw u would understand. Salads are made by bare hand which is beyond disgusting and un sanitary. Yes I witnessed this stuff first hand. Not to mention the bar has fruit flys and nats crawling in and out of drinks and such. Take it from someone who was there. This place is disgusting, and over priced. Go to a ruby Tuesday, there’s one across the street.

I came here for the 1st time and was joined by a group of coworkers. Drinks were good I had something simple. The food however was awful… No really it was! I ordered penne pasta with broccoli and Alfredo sauce… I thought prior to ordering«there’s no way they can ruin this», WRONG! the sauce was weird it was thick and heavy and tasted like corn starch with over cooked«gummy» noodles. I couldn’t bring myself to eat it… I ordered a ceaser instead(of course the waitress rolled her eyes). The salad had no favor it was just like lettuce and dry ass croutons in opinion. Dessert was not good either :( I also played a song on the jukebox which got turned off just as quick as I played it(haters) I’ll never come back The food was scary and I’ll never visit again.

Came here as a first timer for an early dinner with my baby and happened to b here on prime rib night and it was flying out of the kitchen at a delicious 16oz a plate… I chose the baked stuffed shrimp which was delicious and filling my lady had the PR which she loved … I am as stuffed as my shrimp was… We will surely be back on another night as they have nightly dinner specials…

I know all about this place. I have been traveling to the area for 8 years as my company HQ is a mile away. There are few choices in the area when you don’t have a car so I go here out of necessity. I’ve eaten her 20 times. All dinner.

Recently ate at this place. Skyline used to be good, really good. I don’t know what happened. I think partially it’s from the clientele, the food and it’s a catch-all from the airport located right next door. For that reason alone, this place will continue to be in business. The food is okay. It’s hugely overpriced for what it is. A myriad of dishes that look and sound appetizing but just… aren’t. The calamari was over-done but a huge portion was offered. The meatball grinder was at best, something you would eat after you’ve been on a 3 day binger. The salads are huge but again, it’s pretty difficult to mess up a salad. The oddest part of the whole experience was the waitress — young and pretty and relentless at the table. Odd conversations, standing there for minutes on end trying to drum up conversation when all we wanted to do was talk and eat and enjoy dinner by ourselves. It was nice at first and then quickly became weird — and abysmal. For two of us to eat, the bill was $ 40 without drinks. The only time I would ever return is if they changed ownership, or got rid of the weird bar scene they have going on. Lots of older(drunk) folk who do nothing but cause a ruckus and eat the bad food for hours on end. So many other(better) choices. Not this one.

It hurts to write a bad review… But I have decided to post, out of responsability for the non locals that put their faith on bad judgement. After driving for 4 hours and by recomendations of the Holiday Inn Express(by the Hartfort Airport) I decided to give Skyline a try. To make a long story short… fatal mistake! A true impersonation of Italian-American food. The service was good, but the food had no taste, and reminded me of frozen supermarket tv dinners. Skyline needs a new Menu to say the least! It is sad to see a restaurant with such good location, with such inferior food quality. This place can use new owners that have a genuine interest in the restaurant business.

Wasn’t a big fan of the lunch that I had there today. Got the lunch special of the coconut mango cod fish. Came with polenta and soup. The main dish had a lot of water coming from either the fish or the mango on top making everything on the dish soggy. The staff was pleasant though. Seems like a quick place to grab a bite during a layover at Bradley.

My steamed lobster was great. The wine — a half carafe of a pinot grigio was so-so — relatively tasteless. My son’s and husband’s meals were«so-so.» My son did say, however, that it was better than a Ruby Tuesday(our only other alternative as we were dependent on our hotel’s shuttle service for access to a restaurant).
