Ruby Tuesday

This is a chain restaurant so I try to keep that in mind. Our waitress was good but drinks took a long time. Always seems to be that way here and I don’t think that is an issue with the sever — it’s generally a bar issue. Food was quick and good and the salad bar was good as usual. The oddest thing was the very loud rock music playing for the first part of our meal. Love rock but was odd to be eating to Aerosmith blaring on a Sunday at 1.

This is a mixed review. We have been here several times, sat at the bar each time. The food is pretty good for the price. The bartender doesn’t seem to be very customer oriented. Lots of time between drinks, seems to do things when she gets around to it and conversations with other employees seems to be more important then serving customers. We will try again and see if we get a different bartender.

A wide range of menu items and an excellent salad bar. Reasonably priced and the help is friendly. Great for a casual bite to eat that won’t break the bank.

Worst service ever. 1 bar tender waited 10 min. for a drink, ran out bake potatoes during the height of dinner rush. Never got any bread, they had to be baked as well. When they were done our waitress was unable to get us any because someone took them all for their customer. Even after our meal was completed they still asked if we would like our rolls.
My rib eye was ordered to be cooked med. well. I received it very well. I have had ham steak for breakfast thicker than my $ 20.00 meal. Smallest, thinnest, overlooked I have ever had. Next time I will go over to Scooters.

Great place to go when you need a more upscale look at a chain restaurant. Basic food out of the ruby tuesday in the area this is my favorite. Both times I have eaten here the manager has kindly checked in on our meal.

Best salad bar in state. Waitress was very nice. Popcorn shrimp however was soggy and taste a little like the frozen seafood you get from store. Been here before and I’d usually very good. Would really like to give 3.5 stars.

Hadn;t been to a Ruby Tuesday in a long while so decided to stop at this one. We sat at a table in the bar area and were promptly greeted and served. The Chicken Bella was outstanding, as was the salad bar… very fresh and clean. The food, service and cleanliness were all great!

Awwwww just stopped because it was near airport terminal… staff screwed up a plain cheese burger then the bill was off too

Coming in from the airport, we needed a place to eat STAT and this was it. It was 20 minutes before they closed but they were kind enough to seat us and serve us. I don’t k ow what is with the water (to drink) but it tastes horrible. The broccoli must’ve been boiled in this water because it had the same strong «odd» flavor. Salad bar was limited in selection but I figured that was because it was the end of the night. Ribs were good as were chicken and appetizer. They had run out of iced tea (?!) so had ginger ale. Our server was quick and to the point, I’m assuming due to wanting to close. Due to being seated in the bar area, I got to over hear the obnoxious young female bartender talk about how many jobs she works and flirting with old men. I wouldn’t have cared but she was ridiculously loud. Ugh. Mission for food accomplished but I wouldn’t frequent here otherwise.

After about 5 minutes I love being ignored by the bartender I decided to get a table. Eventually a waitress took my order. The food was good. But then I waited another 5 minutes for the check.

Exceeded my expectations which were not that high. First time at a ruby Tuesdays.
Had the blackened tilapia with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Nice creamy potatoes. Broccoli still had a slight crunch which is good. Fish was a good size with right level of Cajun spices. Service was quick and pleasant (Rachael) and not over the top like some places. Good place for a reasonable sized meal for a reasonable price. I’ll be back.

Wanted just the salad bar, but got it as part of this fish taco combo for just $ 1 more. Seemed stupid not to do it. Tacos were very nice. Fish was fresh and vegetable fillings were tasty. Nice presentation. (Not sure my photo does it justice. Really looked good.) Salad bar was well stocked and fresh even pushing 11:00 pm. Waitress was very nice with water refills and whatever we needed.

About every 6 – 8 months we try it again, either because we forget how not good it is, or because maybe we are hoping it’s improved. This might be the last time. Overall the food is consistently just mediocre. This time around we had the salad bar and a couple of burgers. The salad bar appeared to be «less than» what we have seen in the past — 4 bowls of lettuce, appeared to be one of iceberg, one of an «iceberg mix» (read — mostly iceberg), spinach, and another «medley». I stuck with the lettuce that actually appeared to be green, with a little spinach. The vegetable section was ok for the most part with the exception of the dried up slivers of carrot that came straight from a pre-​prepped bag. No radishes, no broccoli except was was swimming in creamy dressing and bacon. The house dressing was full of other peoples vegetables and croutons — really unappealing. It’s not a bad deal for the $ 2.99 add-​on with the burger, but if I paid the menu price of $ 8.99 I’d feel ripped off. The server asked if we’d like the cheddar biscuits with our salad — after saying yes they arrived just before our burgers were delivered. The biscuits were more like a very small cookie — on the sweet side with somewhat of a garlic flavor. These certainly have changed since the last time we were there — these were about the size of an oreo cookie.
Burgers were ordered medium — both came well done without a shred of moisture. Hubby «upgraded» to the triple prime burger — frankly it looked and tasted like my more pedestrian burger. I opted for the pretzel roll option — it was dense, dense, dense — not a good option for a sandwich. I’m not sure if I got one that was stale or if they are all that way. Would not recommend. Fries delivered with maybe two teaspoons of ketchup in a little cup, they brought more quickly when asked.
There are so many better options around we’ll be skipping this in the future.

toward the end of the night if you sit near the end of the bar it smells like a flaming new jersey trash pile.

Let’s just make this quick and easy so I don’t have to relive this experience again… Already sent an email to the corporate office awaiting a response.
This is another reason why I do not frequent franchise restaurants.

Ice cold grilled chicken salad 45 minutes after I ordered from the luncheon menu .poor customer service and no apologies, no thank you for coming and definitely no recognition from staff or management there was an issue.
If I could put ½ a star I would.

I love the salad bar! The pretzel bun burger was really great! Always fast and courteous service. They have a great menu, full of choices. I have been here numerous times and would go back! I love the freshness.

I came here with a party of 18 last weekend. We were staying across the way at the Fairfield Inn and in town for an annual Subaru event held at Stafford Speedway about 30 mins away. Our party had a good time and generally enjoyed the food and service. I had the Fish Tacos and they were pretty damn good! Highly recommended.

Really awful. Most items on salad bar empty. Dressings had «crusts» on the top. Bartender was complaining she had no clean glasses. Nobody asked if I’d like to be seated. I waited for a server so long I decided to get some salad bar to kill the time. She eventually showed up and asked what I wanted to drink. She got my drink order wrong. Brought me a dirty, empty bottle of Frank’s redhot sauce. Never offered to refill my drink. Really, the worst Ruby Tuesday I’ve been to.

Let’s give this place a chance to revitalize and reinvent and recharge its image in Unilocal and the local community. I went here specifically because the reviews were so harsh. It’s a chain with national advertising. It’s gotta meet certain minimum standards. Why such harsh reviews about service? How bad can service be to warrant such negative reviews?
So, I walk over from my hotel to fact check the negative reviews. It’s hard to mess up a burger and fries and beer. And they didn’t. The buffalo chicken burger was well prepared and very passable. The onion rings had flavor and crunch, The beer was cold and good. The service was fine. No problem here. It’s a Ruby Tuesday’s by the airport. What’s the complaint? Go and enjoy your dinner and beer and TV at the bar. After all, from nearby hotels, you can walk.

I mean, really, this is a Ruby Tuesday. It is basic chain restaurant that is clean and mildly consistent. They have a new menu and décor which was pretty reasonable. The new cheddar biscuits are terrible little hockey pucks and you get exactly the number for the table. I expected something good but they were dry and hard.
I had the crab cake, cauliflower mash, and broccoli. Basic and fine. Everyone else we were with seemed to enjoy their meal and clear their plates. I didn’t go with the salad bar because they are always kind of gnarly. It looked fine though. Our waitress was friendly even though our party doubled in size halfway through the meal, the bathrooms and restaurant were clean. It was a little expensive at $ 100 for six people (and only 5 of us had entrees). Probably wouldn’t go back unless someone else made me but it was fine.
