No one can beat Friendly’s Ice Cream. The service is always fast. Good food, great ice cream. We always stop here before and after flights. It’s right next to the airport.

All I want to say on this review that the waitress was so nice and very funny. He was kind enough to come up and ask if honey BBQ chicken on my salad was okay-which it was. The only thing I didn’t like and I won’t give less than 5 stars; is the manager of the place. Very very low spoken, also he smoked before we walked in and he didn’t welcome us to Friendly’s or anything. My boyfriend opened the door for him and the guy just walked right in into the kitchen. I just didn’t like that he didn’t go wash his hands in the bathroom or something. Or even say«Welcome to Friendly’s, How are you today(person name) will seat you today» like any other Friendly’s this manager didn’t do anything like that. Service was good, waitress was awesome I told him at the front that his tip was on the table. I didn’t want the manager to think it was his-he seemed like the type to do that.

Recently remodeled with a new menu and looking fresh and like new. Staff is eager to please and enthusiastic. Two thumbs up for a New England classic. Don’t miss their famous ice cream. Great«family restaurant’ with burgers, salads and of course great onion rings.

Reduced their ice cream flavors –and frankly I can get decent vanilla, chocolate and strawberry anywhere. Their buttercrunch was unique which made it worth the trip. I guess it’s not worth a trip anymore

Went here twice while staying in town. The service here is pretty terrible and the staff is not very friendly. Would have given just one star but the ice cream is pretty decent.

Avoid this franchise. Twice now hamburgers were dried out and way overcooked. Must have been sitting on the grill for awhile. Better burgers on the turnpike friendlys and at exit 48 enfield. Won’t be returning to this one despite a recent remodel.

The only think I like at this friendlies, is the ice cream. The establishment is very run down. The food was ok but expensive. I order my ice cream through the take out window, it usually wasn’t to long of a wait.

If you like the smell of wet cat you will love this place. That’s what it smelt like as soon as we walked in. Didn’t eat there. Blah

Stopped in on my way to the airport. Got seated right away, friendly greeting and waitress was friendly as well even though she was busy. Served right away and it was good. No complaints

I’ve been going to these restaurants my whole life. There’s a reason I keep coming back –the service is friendly and the food is always good. This was our first trip to this particular location. I have to say that Friendly’s is not known for quick service, but I have to say I was happily surprised st how fast our food came out. The inside is a good size with booths and tables. Our host was friendly and attentive as was our waitress Lindsay. She took our drink order right away and we had them within minutes. I ordered the honey BBQ Supermelt, my husband got the Asian Chicken salad and the clam chowder. My daughter got the chili and the franks withal and cheese from the kids menu. My son got the sliders off the kids menu. The soup and chili apps came out pretty quickly. My daughter devoured the chili and said it had a little bit if a kick. My husband also enjoyed his chowder and my son snuck a few bites and said it was delicious. My sandwich was dripping with very tasty honey BBQ sauce and had an amazing crunch with just the right amount of bacon. I was barely able to finish my sandwich and didn’t have the room for the fries if I was going to get ice cream. The kids meals are not fancy, so be warned. The Mac and cheese looks pretty similar to the boxed stuff you would make at home. My kids love it, so their plates were quickly cleaned. My husband said he enjoyed his salad. The ice cream at Friendly’s is always the best part of the meal, and this location did not disappoint. I got the peanut butter cup ice cream sundae which was to die for. My daughter got the FriendZ with the peanut butter cup toppings and really enjoyed it. The guys got vanilla ice cream and are every bite. My family had a great experience at this Friendly’s. The prices are reasonable the food is just what we were looking for. I would come back without hesitation and would recommend it.

Sorry Friendly’s, my review is based on witnessing a waitress use the restroom and not wash her hands. Yuk!

This Friendly’s isn’t bad. It deserves more than 1 or 2 stars. I’ve been here about 5 times in the last 2 years, sometimes for breakfast(why did they switch to that crappy Green Mountain coffee)?? bitter and awful. 2 times for dinner. I get something off the old fashioned menu(the fish-a-ma-jig), it takes me back to when I was a kid, and a strawberry fribble. My boyfriend gets a melt sandwich. The fries are always decent. The service is hit or miss. We just tell them where we want to sit(as they try to put you in the stupidest place without even thinking). But, once you’re seated where you want to sit… and you have an established server… the food here is decent. And the ice cream of course is awesome. Do not go to the Vernon one. I live nearby it. Service there is nonexistent and the food was very bad in Vernon.

I was just in the area visiting and thought I would come here since you really can’t go wrong at Friendly’s right? Wrong! I ordered the way too expensive tuna melt sandwich. When it arrived, there was literally(yes, I mean literally) less than one scoop of tuna. There were about 10 fries(again, literally). I sent back the tuna for a real amount. This was 9.99. The three scoops of icecream aren’t like they used to be either. Very small serving of this for way too much money too. The coup de gras was the bathroom. It is old and smelly. That’s just the worst, isn’t it? I had to breathe with small breaths so I didn’t take too much of it in… Avoid.

I’ve stopped going here. Each visit was a bad adventure in service. Long waits, wrong food, you name it.

If you can manage, try to get a middle aged waitress, THEYROCK! Any time I go to this friendly’s the older waitresses are the best thing since sliced bread, especially when it comes to competent service and fiing kitchen mistakes. I live around the airport, so if its delicious you want, you’ll find it here. depending on the day, you’ll even get an awesome waitress too. Try to go later in the evening to avoid annoying children. :) that is all.

Yes, I am reviewing a Friendly’s. Quite possibly the worst Friendly’s in existence. You can expect to walk in and wait at least 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge you are there, although multiple servers walk by and look directly at you, but continue to ignore you. Once seated, you can expect to wait another 15 minutes for your server to come to the table. It seems like there are about 8 servers working at one time, but maybe only 1 — 2 servers are actually doing their jobs. The food was ok. Typical Friendly’s food. Terrible service… but then again, it’s Friendly’s.
