KCs American Kitchen

Ate here a few times and enjoyed the good food and good service. Had various types of tacos for lunch, and one breakfast. All of the food was good, service was friendly and fast enough, and no major complaints over several meals. Sat on the patio, and enjoyed the views and open air, without being too cold or getting wet in the rain.

Delicious crab eggs benedict with strawberry bellini to drink. My kid had the Denver potato cakes, with raspberry coffee cake… so yummy! Décor inside is awesome, so much to look at! Great service too. Highly recommend.

You must eat here for their Potatoe Pancakes if for nothing else… I had Chicken Fried steak. I wish i would have been told while i was ordering that i had an option of having the Potatoe Pancakes instead of my potatoes. But we just ended up ordering them on the side.BTW. the Chic Fried Steak is really good too. My boyfriend Pete had Potatoe Pancakes Ham and cheesey. yummy with sour cream and chives. With eggs too. We ordered a side order of the Sante fe god they were so good. we were full all day even after a 2 hr swim even. Thankyou Austin you werent our server but we really liked you and appreciated your knowledge on the menu. This restaurant is quaint and comfy has some really old antique signs all over the walls, very entertaining. We will definately come again… oh yeah theres a nice little outside patio area too.

Simply delicious food & a fantastic outdoor dining experience!!! The three sandwiches we tried here were very tasty. My daughter had a good ceasars salad. My (very hard to please) mother-​in-​law raved about the soup. The outdoor ambiance, fire pit & tv’s were top notch.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but lately the last few times we’ve come here have left a sour taste in my mouth. There is one waiter here who has been rude every time we’ve had him. The food is great but with the subpar service and the smaller portions and overpriced food has caused me to second guess coming here as often as we used to.

Classic, classy diner right on the town green. KCs has high quality food, with generous portions, wide selection and reasonable prices. If you are hungry and want a good and filling meal, head to KCs. The new patio space is awesome and is great almost any time of the year to eat, have a cold one and catch a game.

We’ve been to KCs twice now, both times for breakfast and it’s been a good experience. Good service, good coffee, and good food. I recommend the pulled pork Benedict and the raspberry coffee cake. Inside seating is kitschy and cute and the outdoor patio is gorgeous.

American kitchen lives up to it’s name. Buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of fries «Henry-​style» griddled into a pancake. A Bialkin original.

I’ve been eating at owners Kathy & Dave’s restaurants since I grew teeth! They really have a knack for creating a fun atmosphere and preparing delicious comfort food. It’s worth eating there just for the hilarious vintage signs hung all over the indoor space!
Portions are HUGE, so bring your appetite! If I go for lunch, I figure I’ll get enough foor for the rest of the day.
Breakfast is a different story, because I get the potato cakes. There is no resisting the potato cakes, they are AMAZING. Get the Denver style if you like a little spice.
Unlike some other reviewers, I’ve never had a problem with staff and I’ve been now at least 6 times.

Great food, service and drinks. The outdoor patio was lovely. But the owner topped it off, she was so welcoming and easy to talk with, we will be going back very soon. We got there at 11:00am and left after 4:30pm…

Everytime my fiancé and I come here we have a wonderful experience. Doesn’t matter what time of the day we go — breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The servers are always friendly and the food is delicious.
Their new patio is really nice too. There are heaters and TVs which give it a great atmosphere. The heater by our booth once was broken unfortunately, but I wouldn’t use that against them. There’s only so much they can do about it. Other than that, everything has always been spot on.

Food is very good, but the waiter and waitress were beyond rude. Asking if something is actual chicken breast or lunch meat because I’m pregnant and cannot eat lunch meat, then getting a rude, snotty response is less than appealing. When asked if I need anything else and asking for a side of ranch and not being awknowledged and then when I ask again I’m told «I heard you, anything else» wow! Please, could you be any more rude? The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the food is REALLY good.
Go there to eat delicious food, but plan to be belittled at every turn.

Pretty good diner. Good Burgers and fries. The few times I have been here there has always seem to be an issue with getting my order right. Usually I don’t order too many extravagant things basically just asked for things like no mustard on my burger or no cheese on my garlic fries, however these tend to be difficult things for the staff here to get.

Boyfriend and I decided to take a drive and ended up in Windsor. Downtown is so beautiful and peaceful, I mean granted it was Sunday afternoon but there was like almost no one around! It was calming.
It was such a lovely day that we decided to eat outside. My boyfriend ordered the strawberry milkshake (or the smoothie) I think, but nonetheless it was delicious. Same with the buffalo chicken sandwich, oh and the French fries are pretty good too. I forgot what her name was but our hostess was very sweet as well. She made the meal and entire time we were there very enjoyable. I just liked everything about this place haha.

I love visiting KC’s whenever I’m in Windsor! They consistently have great food and service. I appreciate that when I’m out of town.
I ordered the mushroom teriyaki burger for $ 13.50. This burger was worth every penny!
It was a large and fresh ¹⁄₃ pound burger served with a ton of mushrooms, jack or swiss cheese and teriyaki sauce. It came with a side of fries.
The burger is so large that I split it. I can never eat it all at once.
The service is always great. The young man with a beard (I can’t recall his name) was attentive and helpful. Sine I come to KC’s every time I’m in town I know their menu pretty well.
The atmosphere is fun with walls full of all kinds of signs. There is a lot of outdoor seating, but the flies are a bit much.

Ordered the Turkey Pesto Wrap without mayo or tomato and got fruit on the side. The wrap was everything I expected and had a nice flavor. The fruit was not fresh but it was still decent. Would definitely come back. The ambience in the outside seating area is nice.
I have came back a few times and ordered the I love Lucy pesto sandwich which was good as well, but the best thing I’ve ordered here is the Big Fish and Chips! The fish was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor, beautifully done!

The food was okay and the service was great!
I really appreciated the hostess at the front taking people’s names down so it would be sure that people got in the order they came when space was available. I hate standing awkwardly at the door or walking inside only to be told to go back out and stand somewhere.
I ordered some country potatoes, and my bad– I thought it was the same as a potato pancake. If I was back in town, I would try the potato pancake.
The waiter brought me scrambled eggs when I ordered poached, but he had it replaced. It was thoughtful for him to bring back my plate minus the eggs so I could eat along with my friends while waiting for the eggs.
It took a while for the English muffins and coffee cake to come, but when we reminded them, they brought it over.
We went during the Hot Air Balloon festival so the diner was full of people walking from the park.
I liked the décor and the I Love Lucy episodes playing which was nostalgic for me.

Always love coming to KC’s (Now called KC’s American Kitchen) whenever I am visiting my family in Santa Rosa. This place really is as good as it gets. They have outdoor seating with a view of the town green, they have AWESOME servers, everybody is so friendly and professional and the owners can aways be found sitting at a table visiting with their customers, cooking or serving the tables themselves.
Everything is fresh and homemade, I declared at the table during this last visit that each facet of a meal here is awesome– for example: if you get a brunch dish, the raspberry streusel coffee cake offered as a bread accompaniment (toast, english muffin etc) is the best coffee cake you will ever taste, if you order a salad the salad dressings are all homemade and fantastic, if you order a sandwich the bread is awesome, the coleslaw is great– EVERYTHING is great. On our most recent trip my mom ordered the «saucy waitress» sandwich (it may have been sexy waitress… or the something waitress) it was a grilled sandwich with cheese and sliced chicken breast and avocado, probably leaving a few things out, but she said it was the best sandwich she had ever had. My brother ordered fish tacos and he said they were up there with the best fish tacos he had ever had.
You can’t go wrong at KCs, I wish there was a restaurant like this where I live, I would be there everyday without a doubt.

Came here after reading other Unilocal reviews. Place is fairly easy to find with plenty of parking.
Got seated right away and given the menu. The menu is huge and has all you could possibly want. I ordered a chocolate shake which was awesome and very thick.
For an appetizers I got the spinach artichoke dip. I am glad I did… its the best I have had. I also got the fish and chips and it was huge… I took most of it home.
Service was great and the waiter was really friendly and really good looking. Great arms.
All in all I would recommend. Fair prices too.
