Do not go to this store! This man is a dishonest swindler. I wish I had trusted my gut and done business elsewhere.

THIS STORE IS THE BEST! No other jewelry store in Windsor could beet something special this store has almost everything you need!!! THIS STORE IS VERY HIGH IN AND PROFESSIONAL. This place is 1# in Windsor and Richard has many years of experience fixing watches and doing other jewelry diamond work. This place is honestly the best jewelry store in WINDSOR CALIFORNIA I have been to many others and the owners Molly and Richard are the more nicest *down to earth people around* Molly and Richard both put there heart and soul into this store and it shows. You can’t beet the watch battery price only $ 6.50 most jewelry stores charge you $ 10 or even $ 20 dollars depending how greedy they are.

So not my taste in jewelry (to each his own) BUT by far the best, fastest and reasonably priced watch repair around. I brought in my watch that had a dead battery and a piece that had broken off from the face and was floating around. I was expecting to leave it for a few days, but the man behind the counter fixed it on the spot for cheap. I will always take watches there from now on. Very friendly people.

For starters, Jennifer H. is a moron please disregard her review as she clearly has no taste or money. She stated that Images has amazing jewelry. What world do you live in???
Something special has the most knowledgeable gemologist owner I have ever met. He will fix any jewelry you bring him for a great price or change a watch battery for less than 20 percent of anywhere else. They have the best and most diverse collection of collectibles and jewelry in Sonoma County.

very friendly staff, knowledgable, and they have a great variety of jewelry and gifts in every price range. There’s always something different.
The owner is really helpful and a lot of the time he does simple repairs on jewelry and watches while you browse the store. Best price around on watch battery replacement.
I’m surprised at the review Jennifer H gave as it seems VERY inaccurate to every experience I’ve ever had at this store. I have never had the owner mislead me or heard that he was dishonest or a «snake» and all my friends shop there. Oh well, can’t make every one happy.

I went to this store looking for the previous tenant, Images. Images sells amazing jewelry, but most importantly, they sell sleeper hoops. This is a particular style earring that is seamless, for comfort while sleeping. They are popular with children who’ve just gotten their ears pierced.
I walked into this new store explaining the above to the owner, commenting that I’d been buying these earrings from Images (the store previously located at this address) for years. He said he’d never heard of such an earring. Naturally, he had several suggestions from his own collection of cheaply made jewelry, all of which were over priced, elaborately designed & nothing like what I’d described. Still, desperate, I bought something that I thought might be satisfactory for my daughter. He assured me that they were sterling (necessary because my daughter has sensitive skin) & I left $ 38 later.
So, down the street I walk, and what’s just a block away? IMAGES! So I go into my favorite store (new location), dumbfounded, and explained to them what had just happened down the block. The owner proceeds to tell me that this has been happening ever since they moved… The owner of Something Special knows damn well where the other tenant has moved to, but refuses to send people down the street, even when he clearly does not have what they are looking for. Some locals chimed into the conversation & it seems that the owner of Something Special already has a reputation for being «a snake» (not my words, but others’).
So I head back to Something Special & confront this guy, saying «I was looking for something very specific that you did not have. Why would you not simply tell me where Images was?» To this, he snidely smiled, as if he was getting pleasure out of being rude & said, «You didn’t ask.»
Of course, he doesn’t take returns. And of course, the $ 38 earrings turned black and infected my daughters ears the first day she wore them.
Overpacked store with a lot of cheap crap, an owner who lies about the quality of his product, and is already known in the neighborhood as a snake. This is a small town. Dishonest businesses don’t last long here.

This is my favorite jewelry store in Windsor. I have never gone in there and not found what I was looking for. I can go in and find a beautiful $ 100 bracelet for my mom or a $ 25 necklace for a friend. Plus they carry some really cute nick nack items like high heel jewelry holders and decorative fans. Friendly and helpful service as well!
