No, just no, turn around and walk out. Service is slow and snotty, food horrible! We watched our waitress put her hair up in a bun and tuck her shirt in, way in. My husband and I are nauseated and only hope we will eventually throw up this disgusting food!

We have ordered from Yinkeng for years. The food is good, the prices are reasonable and 20 minutes is the most time we have waited between order and pick up. I recommend eating at the restaurant if you want a nice experience for dinner because the service and the food is good.

We have used this place for many years. Tonight was their very worst. Mushu vegetable is beansprouts with a couple of strings some kind of a mushroom? Really? Rice was not sticky, egg foo yong was boring, prawns just ok. Not sure I will return. Royal China is a hike, but the food is fabulous.

Haven’t been here for awhile. It used to be our take-out staple for Chinese, but we made the mistake of trying lunch today. Oops. The only reason I gave it more than one star is that it was cheap and generous. Unfortunately, the sauces on both my garlic pork and her Mongolian beef were much too heavy and greasy. The chow mein was so cloying, it was almost inedible. The lunch also included a strange fried won ton with some sort of odd filling. Finally, the place was not clean. I doubt we’ll eat here again, and I know we won’t return for lunch. Chinese in this neck of the woods is pretty awful.

Ever since I moved from Marin to Sonoma, I’ve had a hard time looking for cheap Chinese, but I think I found it, thanks to my cobot! Its a lil place that can be easy to miss since its in the Windsor shopping center near Raley’s. I came for the lunch special and this place was packed for the lunch hour. We were seated and handed menu and out order was take in less than 5 mintues. A couple minutes later I got the TASTIEST chicken chow fun placed in front of me, seriously haven’t had chow fun this good in a while. It was hot and had the best flavor to it. It came with a side of fried rice and a crab puff. My cobot got a spring roll for his side(which I may get next time). I munched my way through my noodles and still had leftovers(yes)! Our meal was cheap and we were done with in our lunch hour all for 19 buckies, woot! I’ll be back for you noodles!!!

Big disappointment! We spent 36.10 on chow mein, orange chicken and some egg rolls and none of it was as good as what we get in rohnert park at Hunan kitchen for half the price

Consistently good food and not disappointed tonight. Everything tasted fresh and nice and hot. In my opinion, the best restaurant food and service in Windsor.

Always consistently good food. Staff is always pleasant and courteous. Take out orders are quick. Love their crab rangoons and their sweet and sour prawns.

One of my favorite dishes to order at any Chinese food place is szechuan beef. Here it is no so good but it is passable. Everything else is stellar! Cherry pork here is great! A must try dish if you have not had it before. Lunch specials are a great value.

Good food, slow service, nice folks though just slow. Small, unremodeled, kinda divey. All in all great for a casual dinner. Better yet, get take out. People getting take out are served faster I think

I love how they seem to have regulars that they know by name, that is always a good sign. They are more than happy to make you something that is not on the menu if you ask. A customer ahead of me wanted beef and bok choy only and they made it no problem at all. I ordered vegetable stir fry rice and I do not care for baby corn or the mushrooms they use ;so I asked for white mushrooms and broccoli to be substituted and it was a dollar extra. My order was great and although nearly $ 9.00 just for rice, it was enough for the next day or too share with a friend. I already had bbq pork at home to go with it. I rated 4 stars as I really need to try some more dishes before I can give, them a 5.

Sad to say the food quality has gone down over the years. :-/Still preferable over many other Chinese options in Sonoma County(of which there are few in my opinion).

I spent a good portion of my childhood in San Francisco, and traveled to Hong Kong on a yearly basis, so I may have unrealistic expectations of Chinese food in Windsor. The one and only time we ordered from Yinkeng, we were gravely disappointed. I find them to be over priced for the quality and quantity of food they offer. The only taste we really noticed was salt or MSG, and the food was so blah, that we didn’t even save our left overs. My husband will eat anything, and even he didn’t want them! Next we’ll have to try Chinois, though I don’t think it will fulfill the typical«Chinese food takeout» cravings we have every so often.

I mean… can you really go wrong with a lunch special for $ 8?! Including soup, a wonton, chow mein, rice, and tea! This place has been in Windsor since I can remember and no matter what it is always busy! The food is really good, your classic Chinese takeout that you crave randomly on a rainy night. The mongolian beef is amazing and the broccoli beef is delicious too! Service is good, family owned for years.

Had not been here a long time: My last(lunch special) experience was gloppy hot and sour soup followed by a greasy heap of deep fried gristle. Today I ordered beef chow fun on the lunch special. This time, the soup was not gelatinous, but it still had an inappropriate soy sauce-like darkness and odd sweetness. The chow fun was decent, but over half the plate was engulfed by two huge scoops of steamed rice, making the chow fun a skimpy overpriced portion at best. Just an all-around lousy, feeling vaguely ripped off experience, like every time I’ve been here…

As this is a nondescript Chinese place in a strip mall, I wasn’t expecting anything too spectacular. And I got what I expected! =) I’ve had better… I’ve had worse. The lunch specials were priced okay(My Szechuan Prawns lunch special was $ 8.95 I believe). And portion size was acceptable. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here… but when I have a strong craving it could be worth a stop. At least until I try a few more of their dishes, or more chinese places open up in the area.
