Having been a fan of Panda Express at restaurant in Bethesda, MD, I am thrilled to have a Panda Express location near my apt & near my family’s house in Winter Garden, FL. The restaurant at Winter Garden — Daniels Rd. location is where I enjoy going to get my fave dish of Mushroom Chicken & plain rice. What has me concerned about the Mushroom Chicken meals I order & pick up at this location is the quantity of the servings(usually I order 2X servings,) & the quality of the chicken. It may help if after looking at meals I have just ordered, any dissatisfaction to talk to the manager about it. My concerns about this meal at this location only: Quality of sliced chicken in this meal usually 75% is chicken«bits of fat, bits of chicken parts that are usually discarded in chicken dishes,» few pieces of zucchini as part of dish(counts about 3 pieces of zucchini in last order of 2X dish, there should be more zucchini, I’d satisfied with 6+ pieces. This is 3rd time I feel I am being charged $ 2X Chinese dish & received less quantity & less quality = ½ of regular meal. My next visit to this restaurant location, I order my fave 2X Mushroom Chicken dishes, I will check to see if my take out order looks more like photo of ad for this dish. If my meal order is the same as last order then I will talk to restaurant manager & discuss the meal problem with them.

I was not a fan of Panda Express until my gf convinced me to try this location; I am very glad she did. Prior to this Winter Garden location, my only experience with Panda Express had been in the Miami area and they were not positive. This is definitely not a Michelin-starred restaurant but you don’t come to Panda Express for a cauliflower foam or deconstructed egg roll. They offer the traditional dishes you’d expect, but they always seem to be hot and fresh. My favorites would have to be the Beijing Beef along with the Orange Chicken. If you’re hungry, tired and not in the mood to cook lunch/dinner then this may be the spot for you.

This is panda express, but I must say this location is better than any other I have been to. The Orange Chicken is one of those foods you have a craving for and this location makes it right and nice and crunchy. They also don’t skimp on the sauce which I like. The food always seems to be fresher which is great because thats one of the unknowns of eating somewhere that the food is already made. They have a big wall of veggies and take pride in cutting them fresh every day, so you feel a little better about eating your beef broccoli. Cant say anything bad about the service here either, both friendly experiences in store and the drive thru. Plenty of parking here next to the new Village Inn.

Nut and seafood allergy alert The shrimp and walnuts dish are right next to the fried rice. When they dish out the shrimp and walnuts on a plate they are holding plate over fried rice. On more than one occasion I have seen shrimp and or nuts fall into fried rice. They then use spoon used for shrimp dish to remove it from rice. My friend has a serious allergy to nuts and shell fish. In my picture of rice, look at edge of serving bowl at about 2 o’clock position. You will see a walnut. This can kill someone with a serious nut allergy. I spoke to manager and they denied it ever happens so on my recent visit I had phone camera out just in case and there it was sitting there. Beware they don’t take cross contamination seriously and people can get hurt or die.

The food isn’t too bad for drive thru Chinese, but the service is horrible!!! We went one night and they hardly had any entrees available and we could only choose from 4 different types of chicken. On top of that they were training a new employee who screwed up our entire order and when it was ready the trainee literally watched our food sit on the side of the drive thru window and seemed like she was in a trance because she just stared us and it down! I had to literally open the car door, reach inside of the drive thru window and grab our food because she just stood there wondering what to do with it! At one point the manager started scolding the trainee in front of us and other guests who were inside — that’s not something you do in front of customers. Needless to say, we will not be going back here. You have to question a place’s standards when they hire morons like that. I’m all for equality and equal opportunity but if you cant speak English and move like a snail, you should not have a job where you communicate with and serve the public. Sorry.

Probably one of the better Panda Express restaurants I’ve ever visited. The staff is kind and the food is always up to standard.

I crave the Chino-American food at Panda occasionally. They have a good selection of different proteins, fresh(?) vegetables and different flavors(sauces/spices). Food is ok, satisfies the hunger and curves the craving. BUT…The dinning room here is full of flies, and they have to do something about it! Gross.

It was ok, I’ve eaten at others and they’ve been much better. Food was cold, noodles were old and cold

I like their veggies. I never understand the entrée /side situation since I never order meat, so I just tell them to ring me up however is cheapest.. . seems to work. Wish they served brown rice.

I visited this particular Panda Express at 8:00PM on a Friday night. We had expectations that if we walked in and saw the food sitting there, and the place wasn’t busy, that we would walk out as the food sits too long and the orange chicken isn’t crispy anymore. To our(good) surprise, it was packed in there, and the food was coming out fresh. This is our second visit here, another time we came and it was slow, but the food was still fresh. Based on this, I can say that this location is the freshest Panda I’ve been to in the Orlando area. Again, it benefits from a fantastic location in the Winter Garden Village(very similar to Waterford Lakes).

It’s about what you’d expect —(Americanized) Chines Fast Food, although a little better than the others in this category. I sampled the spicy shrimp, which was very tasty. I went with the Chow Mein with String Bean Chicken and Orange Chicken. The string beans actually tasted fresh. A big plus for me is the China Mist tea — very good. All in all, a good lunch at a reasonable price.
