Shift change? Got here at 7:15 and they had a shift change so it took 10 minutes to see an attendant to start to fill the tank.

Worst experience at a service station ever. I would give this place a zero stars if it was an option. I arrived at the service station around 725 in the morning. There were no attendance to be found. A few minutes later I saw one who told me that it was shift change and somebody would be with me in five minutes.10 minutes later somebody shows up, and takes my credit card, and asks me to get out and put in the pin information myself. I’m still trying to understand what the point is of a full service station if you make the customer to do half of the work. I didn’t have enough gas to get to another gas station, but in the future I will make sure that I never have to stop at this one again. I almost forgot to mention, since it was shift change I was not able to pump my own gas. I went to a couple of different’s filling stations and since an attendant had not clocked in all of the pumps were turned off.

Stopped here to get some gas on the way up to NYC. Employees seemed as though they were not interested in the art of pumping gas in NJ. Not sure why so many citizens of the garden state continue to gain the gas pumping certification that have no interest in actually peforming the art of doing so. Yeah so I’m being a little sarcastic. There is nowhere else to go in this rest stop besides gas. They have closed down all the eateries and such. Only gas here. On the NJ turnpike they are also supposed to wash your windows. I actually don’t care about this, since most of the time they actually do it my car is clean and they just poor dirty water all over it. This time however with all the snow I actually wanted them to do it. Yeah not happening. Oh well. What I’ve come to expect from most gas stations in Jersey. Of course you’re going to come here if you need gas. Skip it if you can.

Place smells like a typical jersey rest area. Only reason why I am giving 4 stars is because of the cheap gas

I hit this gas station when I am headed to NY, running low on gas and forgot to fill up before I get on the turnpike. This is one of the slowest gas stations that I have ever been to in my life. People are so desperate to make their wait time speed up that they actually go to the wrong gas pumps and have the hoses stretch across their cars. Other than that the gas is a bit cheaper than it is off the highway and the attendants actually wash your windows, because they are probably paid so low that they are desperate for tips.

Employees are a bunch of lazy drug addicts. I actually heard them making a drug deal, they attempted to cheat me out of money by overpumping, and when I asked for my change I got cursed at. I should also mention there was a line of 20+ cars behind me.

Can we say«HELL no?!» Don’t waste your time here. Whoever gave this place a 5 star review must be a drug addict or a supporter of waiting in long gas lines. They must also hate food since this is part of a rest area that has no food places in it or even real bathrooms(I saw some port-a-poties across the lot past the pumps). The line for this station, a week after gas rationing ended in New Jersey & may have never even started in the county where this station is located, was ridiculous. We waited over 30 minutes in a line that never moved while the lines around us WERE attended to. People left this station due to the lack of movement. Furthermore, they had 2 pumps open in our line but you couldn’t get to the one in front of us because of some traffic cones being positioned next to another set of pumps that were NOT operational in such a manner that no one could get to the front pump if someone was at the closer one. I was tempted to get out & move the traffic cones closer to the closed pumps to make my life & everyone else’s easier. When we got to the pump, I was ready to get out of the car myself & pump my own gas, they were so slow. The guy next to us get out & open his gas tank himself. We also observed the employee who was supposed to be pumping our gas off in the center glass area chatting with the other attendant handling pumps instead of checking for the pump to stop. We waited a good 5 minutes with our gas being finished while he was chit-chatting. I had to bang & yell to get attention to our pump. THEN, this jerkwad tried to cheat us by pumping our gas past the next dollar amount(33 cents over before my husband spoke up). After not getting our change & my husband having to ask for it, the attendant cursed at him & then while getting it(he said«You have to be patient. Fuck!») was overheard attempting to make a drug deal with his co-worker. After we get only bills & being cheated out of our full change, my husband had been fed up & drove off. THEN, it’s next to impossible to get back on the turnpike from here since you have to con-volute around to the back of this place to exit. Unless you want to go to jail for killing one of these slow, unprofessional & jerk employees, avoid like the plague(though I might reward you if you kill cashier 35).
