Paparazzi Trattoria

The place definitely has potential and the food is pretty good. Went there for dinner about a month ago and that was good. Went another time for brunch and it was just weird. It felt like I was in a club and our waitress wasn’t the best. They were under staffed so I don’t want to blame her.

The food was a bit bland. Super slow service from the waiters. I really had high hopes for this place but the slow service (unless it was for a hookah) and uncomfortably loud music, I think for private parties this place might work but not for small groups for dinner.

The food is worth 5 stars, very good. The service, however…
Walking in I was about to cancel the plan — the volume of the music inside was ridiculous (yes, apparently I’ve become «old»), but I was going out for Father’s Day with my 3 year old and even SHE said it was too loud.
Thankfully we got to sit outside (which is partly why we came here at all) The main area was taken over for a private event, which was fine.
The server was very nice, but didn’t seem to understand the question of what the risotto or ravioli of the day was (which the menu says to ask your server), then only brought 2 sets of utensils for a party of 3. The food, while VERY good — took way to long to find its way to our table, very forgivable had the server checked in. Once it came, I was nearly half finished before I had to ask for my drink which never came.
Lastly, I understand adding a gratuity to a large party, but adding 18% to a party of 3? Come on. I didn’t receive 15% quality of service.

I went to Paparazzi Trattoria for a party. The mojitos were great and the skirt steak was out of this world. The service was excellent. I will be back again soon.

We chose Paparazzi Trattoria for our school end term/​retirement party since it is quite close and convenient. It did not disappoint. The outdoor area was lovely. It was a beautiful night and we enjoyed delicious mojitos and sangria during their half-​price happy hour. Our food was buffet style, beginning with fried calamari, bruschetta, and empanadas. All were delicious. The entrees were also outstanding. The skirt steak was tender, as was the chicken, salmon, and pork. We had a nice selection of veggies, as well as rice and beans and salad. The service was great and Pedro, the manager, was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend giving this gem a try. I will definitely be back soon.

This restaurant is amazing!!! The food is delicious, the music is fantastic, and the atmosphere is superior! You are welcomed as soon as you come in, and the patio is very nice for warm weather. Great place to enjoy friends and family! Great service everytime you come in! Do not listen to the bad reviews, I’ve been here many times and NEVER had bad service!

Paparazzi is close to home ! Super relaxing here, food is great, drinks too. You can host a party here or just come on a weekday for some wine and bread and empanadas. You have Italian and Dominican food here, super yummy .
Owner is so down to earth ! Always asking how everyone is doing. Service is great. :0) came 3 times in a week. You can watch your sports here too ! Come and check this place out !

Italian??? Since when is Mofongo italian? We had a merry go round of waiters, about four in total, none of which ever asked what we wanted to drink or if we wanted a refill. We sat for an hour and 40 minutes before we received our dinner. Waited 20 min for a flat seltzer water refill. Gratuity was automatically included in the bill, which would explain the shitty service. Food was just edible but eehh, nothing special. Due to the crappy service and mediocre food, this place is not recommended. PASS.

When your mother doesn’t get a meal on Mother’s Day, it’s time to write your first Unilocal review. Save your time and go to a place that will bring you a meal and then your check. After we didn’t all get meals, it took them almost an hour to bring the check. AND we got 2 whole pitchers of mimosas in our 2 hours of unlimited mimosas for 7 people.

We were welcomed by all. Happy hour is great. Food is delicious. Service is excellent. Salads were fresh. Empanadas were flavorful. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and me were so happy to pick this place to celebrate our wedding reception. Thanks to Mr. Pedro Reyes for your patient and thanks your staff for the excellent service. The food was amazing and delicious, drinks, service, people, music. all the enviroment… Mr. Reyes help me to organize everything and give us all the facilities to set up woth our decorations… we really had a great night… and all my guests were so happy. still talking about the food.. i will recommend it. thanks again. for the great night.

The restaurant is very nice the wait staff is amazing and friendly. The manager Pedro went Beyond great to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. White sangria is a must and their picadas and their chicken and pasta is a must. Can’t wait for the backyard to open, brunch and live music sounds good to me

Thank You for the outstanding birthday event you set up for us last week. Our guests were beyond impressed with the party room ambiance, the service, and above all the awesome menu you created for us. The Skirt Steak (Churassco) and Grilled Salmon were among the favorites. Everything was under control and flowing perfectly. The staff was courteous and professional. You made our evening nicer than expected! We are looking forward to returning to Paparazzi Trattoria for dinner, and hopefully having some future events there again.

My boyfriend and I were waiting across the street for out car to be fixed so we figured since the wait was 2 hours we’d grab a bite to eat. We went here, since it was across the street, and it was completely deserted, yet there was Spanish music blasting. So we waited 5 minutes because the hostess was on her phone at the bar and she finally saw us and said we could sit anywhere. I ordered the black fettuccine with crab meat and shrimp, and it was so salty and tasted like the ocean. However my boyfriends skirt steak was pretty good. The service was just terrible and I’m definitely not planning on going back. They really need to fix a few things, because quality is everything. Also the waitress included her gratuity which was 9 dollars. Idk… Hope for the best. Maybe there is a reason no one was in there.

Brought my car into the shop across the street. The place was recommended by the service rep. Didn’t want to go far, I Unilocaled it. 3 stars. Decided to give it a try. Place was empty around 2pm. Sat at the bar, hostess/​waitress gave me a glass of water without me asking. Pretty good start I thought. Ordered the burger, with fries. I like my burger medium. The first couple of bites of the burger. No huge wow factor, nor any omg this sucks feeling. Got to the middle of the burger. Guess what? Totally raw, all it needed was the cow bell to be hung on it to signify it came straight out of the pasture. I told the waitress/​hostess. All I got was a «oh». Ok customer service skills lacking. Then gave me the check, no apology, no discount, no thank you. Last time I go there to eat.

I started coming here over the summer and was pleasantly surprised. I’m a real foody! So trust me when I say u won’t be disappointed. The food is pretty damn good and the lunch menu is awesome. Ends at 4pm, About $ 10 a plate and nice portions. The dinner menu is a bit pricey but the food tastes worth the price. I always leave happy. It’s kinda Spanish, Caribbean, Italian all mixed but there hasn’t been a dish I disliked so far. The staff is sweet also. I think it’s a hidden gem that doesn’t get enough recognition. Give it a try :)

2^nd Chances — this is Lisa’s husband, Jeff. After a disappointing review a few days ago for a disappointing delivered meal, I received a call from Pedro, who may be the owner, but clearly manages Paparazzi — he asked for a 2^nd chance to make that 1^st impression.
I just returned from having been served a truly spectacular meal — their special tonight:
Rib Eye Steak — smothered in a light cream whole pepper and brandy sauce — this was a perfect steak — very tender beef about an inch and a half thick — perfectly prepared (my preference is medium-​rare — the chef nailed it!), and the sauce was at the highest level of cuisine!
This meal was worthy of the finest restaurants in NYC that serve excellent beef — this restaurant should be full with a line at the door! — it is by the way a very large interesting space and would be fun for a large party! Bar space is large, seating very spacious and comfortable — there is an immense outdoor seating area for the summer.
The menu is diverse and perhaps the identity of Paparazi is still revealing itself — Caribbean, Italian, Pub? Well let’s call it an excellent Steak House tonight!

A long wait but pleasant outdoor space and friendly staff. My daughter had chicken fingers and fries (not on menu but available for kids). I had the chicken mofongo. It was flavorful and filling. We had the coconut flan for dessert, creamy and sweet! I like that this place is near her school. It’s an easy place to relax for an hour and a half.
