By far the most awful Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Don’t waste your money on this garbage. Fried rice taste old, dumplings are like eating dough and their chicken and broccoli taste like absolutely nothing. I gave this place too many chances because I live in the neighborhood but it just got worse and WORSE.

Beyond awful. I would give it negative stars if I could. The dumplings were thick-skinned, doughy and flavorless. Szechuan wontons were also doughy, greasy and served with a sweet, bland sauce. The two mains we ordered were both requested extra spicy and came covered in thick, sweet glop, without a hint of spice/chilis. Of all the terrible take-out Chinese places in Sunnyside(and there are many), this one is the worst.

I order from here occasionally when I’m feeling too lazy to cook but not too lazy to check GrubHub. The last time I ordered, I chose the seafood lo mein. It was cooked well and had a lot of variety when it came to the seafood blended in(scallops, shrimp, fish, etc). It certainly hit the spot. The menu has a lot of options, both Chinese and Japanese, which is really great for indecisive people like me who can barely ever decide on just one type of cuisine. The food isn’t especially creative or unique, but it’s of good quality and consistent. The delivery is always fast.

Still searching for a good, local Chinese food place. I tried this place once but my stomach’s reaction prevents me from returning. Not sure if it was the oil or just a bad batch of seafood but I got sick immediately after I finished eating. I’d love to give them another chance to be fair here, but I am a bit scared.

I love this place. They are a block and a half further from my nearest Chinese place and I always go to them because they are accommodating and courteous(which goes a very long way in my book) as well as yummy. Highly recommend supporting a business that values customer service and are always sweet.

This place has new owners and has changed dramatically for the better. The previous owners would have their kids running around like it was a day care center and everything was cluttered. But now everything is organized and run as best as news owners can. A little confusion but within a couple of weeks the processes will become better. The food is actually much better too! I had the General Tao’s Chicken one night then a week later I had the Kung Pow Chicken. Its spicy so make sure you tell them mild! I would visit this place again and suggest it to everyone. The prices are reasonable fair.

This place looked really nice, but the server was extremely rude for no reason. The food was decent. I had the Avocado Salad, it was very good but the portion was very small. Everyone else Had huge plates, I munched off one of my friend, it was like an omlette with meat and gravy on top! you would think it looks gross but it tasted great. The only thing I didnt like about this place was the service, everything else was good.

Great neighborhood Chinese food. All of their vegetables taste/look fresh, their dishes are tasty and best of all their prices are competitive for the quality they deliver. Their sushi can be hit or miss but the Chinese side of their menu always hits. A+++++

Decent Chinese takeout, truly awful sushi and Japanese food. The egg roll was tasty and had a nice crisp wrapper. The soup noodles with wonton were fine but the sweet and sour pork was missing the sauce. How do you forget the sauce? The rice, however, was good fine. Just don’t order anything with fish, especially from their Japanese menu. I don’t have high standards for Chinese takeout but I’m never ordering from here again. Very disappointing.

Still in search of good chinese. Other than the dumplings, the food at this place was better than Mr. Wonton, but still not great. The food was less greasy. The moo shoo was in less sauce, but still too much. The dumplings here have dough so thick and chewy that even my husband wouldn’t eat them(and he’ll eat almost anything).

More than a step above your neighborhood Chinese hole-in-the-wall, Rainbow has a pretty extensive Chinese-American menu at decent prices. The dishes are never too over-sauced, greasy, or bland. They put other neighborhood Chinese to shame. In addition, the restaurant also features a decent Japanese menu with sushi, teriyaki, and tempura. They won’t wow you, but they are above the pre-made store-bought varieties. Although the restaurant has little in the way of atmosphere, it’s also more than a couple chairs in a dim interior as well. As such, Rainbow has been one of the best additions to the little Sunnyside and Woodside food world.

Located right outside the 52nd/Roosevelt stop on the 7, I didn’t believe this little hole in the wall could possibly make good egg foo yong, sesame chicken, and unbelievably, extremely fresh, well made sushi! And it’s cheap. Yay Queens!
