Love Joey’s so much. Definitely our favorite place. Consistently great. This is the slam dunk place to bring relatives and friends where they will find something they like on the menu. I’m a fan of the Lighter Fare section of the menu. I can attest to the deliciousness of the following Lighter Fare selections: Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna, Crispy Fried Local Oysters(this is a must try!), Crispy Fish Tacos, and Classic Calamari. My wife and I often get the«salad for two» option, where for $ 2 extra they double the salad. The Arugula Salad is very good. The daily specials always sound great, but I wish they would write them down because they are often somewhat detailed in their descriptions and I wish I could see them(and the price!) to consider them in detail. The service is fantastic and always friendly. Great bartenders as well – I can verify that they make a great Manhattan, rocks on the side. As others have said, prices here are definitely fair, even above average in value. For instance, the Fried Oysters serving size is generous IMHO. Joey’s can be a little hard to find on your first visit as it is set back and down somewhat from Chandler St, across a parking lot. If you’re heading west(past Foley Stadium) look for a white fence near the street on your left, but if you miss that entrance you can turn at the next left and still get to the Joey’s parking lot. Be sure to make a reservation – very popular place for obvious reasons!

Fabulous food and service. A little pricey, but I am willing to pay extra for good service! We went on a Friday night and didn’t make a reservation but they sat us right away. We had a wonderfully nice waitress who was very attentive and informative about the menu. I would go back here for sure!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Worcester. Tonight it was a short rib meatloaf for me, and steak tips for the wife. Perfect cook on everything. I could go on and on, but instead, I’ll just say, if you haven’t eaten here, there’s something wrong with you.

I have had just about everything on the menu here and have always been blown away. This is one of my favorite restaurants and its where I bring my NYC friends to wow them. They also have the best lunch deals in the city!

Joey’s is a staple on my dining rotation. I always get the swordfish and I am always happy. The service is great at the bar, I typically sit there. I have nothing but good things to say.

We went there for a quick bite on a Thursday evening. I had heard good things. There were people smoking practically in the doorway, both on our way in and out, we should have left then. We were seated in front of the loudest people ever, and asked to be moved. I ordered a flatbread, my husband some soup and a burger. It took 30 minutes for our food to come out, and there were POTATOCHIPS on my flatbread. Were they insane? My husband liked his burger. The waitresses were overly friendly with the patrons that were«regulars», often sitting in the booth with them. It was way too loud and the food and service weren’t good enough to overcome the noise. The smokers were there on the way out, a violation of law. The chips on my flatbread should have been illegal as well.

This place has everything, Cozy atmosphere, amazing sangria, and fantastic food. Salmon dish melts in your mouth, and Mesculin Salad with Maple vinaigrette is worth the visit in itself. Plus the waitstaff is the best in the city! Joeys is not open on Sunday’s, which is a bummer, but you can also visit for lunch!

Nice surprise in a «so so» area of Worcester. Food and service were outstanding. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and very generous portions. Will return when in the area.

Been here about a dozen times, and feel it is appropriate to finally write a review. I must say this is the go-to place for Friday nights for both my fiancé and I. Never disappointed with the service or the food quality. Prices are reasonable, and they always have outstanding specials. You may have to wait a bit if you go during busy hours since the place always has a crowd(this is a testament to the quality of the place). Will continue coming here.

Only down side is the prices are too high. The speed of the service was very good. Refills were prompt. Everyone was super attentive and nice. Bread was ok but fresh. Oil was bland. The shrimp and orzo salad was super flavorful. 7 medium shrimp grilled to perfection. Orzo was tasty. Asparagus was nicely grilled. The rib meatloaf was unique. Portion size was huge. No complaints. The s’mores ice cream desert was out of this world. Enough for 2+.

After reading all of the Unilocal reviews on this location, they had a lot to measure up to. We tried several times to go, mostly when they were closed, but we finally succeeded in eating dinner there tonight. The service was fast, attentive, the kitchen was fast, and the food and presentation were both excellent. We also had a dessert which was humongous. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this place. We got the lobster Rangoon and 2 burgers, which were huge and delicious. Coconutini is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. Great service. My only complaint is that it was closed on Sunday when we tried to come back for one more visit before leaving town!

Being an out of stater we trusted the reviews and went. Thank you all! Great drinks, unbelievable fresh food, and service above and beyond! The cocktails are all fresh juices. The steak was perfect punk; and the cod special was incredible.

My friends and I were looking at choices for restaurant week and we decided on Joeys. I’m glad we made a reservation because the line to be seated was out the door. So plan a head to go here. But it’s worth it. My wife had a salad and it was good. I had a sole filet special and it was amazing. The icing on the cake was Joey himself brought the food out and made us all smile to boot. Great place.

The staff is so friendly! We had to wait a bit for seating but the hostess was so sweet. Our waitress was great as well. We just got standard burgers and fries but they were delicious with the wormtown beer on tap :) would definitely come again.

What a gem. Whenever I visit home, Joey’s is my first stop. I have had teary eyed reunions in their foyer and heartfelt goodbyes over lobster rangoons. Joeys is the kind of place you go when you want down home, friendly service with American comfort food. If you’re lucky, Joey himself will deliver your food. The staff is fab, and the drinks are deluscious. 10⁄10 would eat there now.

My mom and her boyfriend come here a lot and they really like it, but I think we may have come on an off night. Service was great– attentive, not overbearing, and friendly. The food was just not very good. 3 people at our table got the prime rib special, and it was so tough that they had a hard time cutting it. None of them finished it. I got the seafood pasta. The seafood was fresh and was cooked well, but the dish had absolutely NO flavor. I put salt on it(I never use salt in restaurants) and it didn’t help at all. I ate less than half of it. The only saving grace for me was that they had Wormtown be hoppy on tap. Love that beer. Everyone was also happy with their martinis. I’d give it another try based on my mom saying that it was definitely an off night, but was not impressed on this visit.
