Cheap drinks, nice pool tables. They have Internet memes and various music paraphernalia all over the walls that are interesting to look at. They opened at 4 the day I went which I thought was weird. Overall good laid back experience if you have a few hours to kill. Might have to check it out on a weekend

This is a local bar. If you’re not a local, don’t expect a smile from the cute bar staff. However, by your third visit, they will remember you take good care. Don’t even try to play pool unless you know the house rules — the punk locals that hover around the tables will give you an ear-full for your ignorance. One star because it actually has pool tables and dart boards, and one star for Sam Lager(which you can get literally anywhere in the state).

Cape dive bar at its finest! Visited not once, but twice yesterday. Friendly ginmill offers all the dive amenities: pool, darts, keno… And oh ya, live tunes! Saturday’s dance floor was vivacious. We didn’t catch the name of the band, but they tore the roof off the joint! My brother Tuggy, Uncle B-Ho and I stopped in to settle a mini-golf bet. One of the lovely barmaids offered to pour us «sex on the pool table» shots, but we instead settled for Saturday’s drink special: cucumber martinis. Docking 731 one star for listing the martinis @ $ 8 on the board then charging us $ 9. When we brought this to their attention, the record scratched and music stopped. The barkeep told us the drinks are really $ 9 despite being listed on the specials board for $ 8. Luckily Tuggy ended the awkward exchange by proposing a free beer when we return later; to which the mixologists agreed with some reluctancy. Hey, fair is fair. We didn’t collect our free beer when we returned, but hammered back 24 Naukabouts @ $ 4/pint. A tasty American Pale Ale brewed down the road in Osterville, Naukabout is a terrific bargain at $ 4 a pour. We didn’t try the food, however, some generous patrons offered us their leftover housemade chips. What a savory late night treat! Today, I wreak of garlic and my dogs Neely and Murph won’t go near me. Doesn’t matter though, the aftertaste is delicious. I’m not going to brush my teeth all day! Minus(–1) star for weird Irish dude who tried to shake my hand in bathroom; this after peeing and not washing. Plus(+1) star for Curly, Mid-cape cricketmaster for bringing his own darts and phone pics to prove his darts playing proficiency. Will we be back? Heck yes we will. If Curly helps C-Money and B-Ho hone their skills they just may have a shot at knocking off reigning 731 darts champs Crumpy and Goof. Little known tidbit– there are boats behind Tavern 731 that you can climb and play in. We boarded a triple fly bridge fishing vessel and flew the Jolly Roger. Arrrrrgh!!!
