Qt Spa Nails

The lady that did my eyebrows made one shorter than the other… Why would you waxed the end tip of my eyebrow? Do not get your eyebrows done here. Save yourself the money and the disappointment.

QT nails is centrally located in Yelm right near the Starbucks. It’s a clean, the staff are friendly, and it’s reasonably priced. I’ve been twice for pedicures. The first time I went the massage chair was totally broken and stuck in an upright position but, the man who did my toes did a good job. The second time I went I got a different chair and a different tech. This time the chair worked fine. The woman who started my pedicure did a good job and the tech who did my toes the previous time painted them again this time. There was one weird thing though hence the 3 stars. On my second visit they were soaking clean towels in the foot basin of one of the pedicure chairs. They brought them out and filled it with water and fabric softener, then they stuffed it full of clean towels. After they soaked a bit my tech stopped doing my toes so she could fold up the towels and place them on a wire rack. They looked like the same towels they put on your legs near the end of the pedicure (warm and wet). I saw them clean the basin first but it’s still weird and kinda gross.

First time there and was treated like family. Good service, price and very friendly. Going back again.

Not bad for a fast pedicure! Nice full set as well and was under an hour! Only complaint is it’s expensive than other places!

I went in to QT nails for a fill. I told the lady that I wanted a stiletto style, and then explained that they were pointy instead of round. She goes «okay» and made a face. Then proceeded to round all of my nails out. When I asked if she could make them more pointy she replied, «Oh yeah, sure.» Then continued to round them out. I figured ‘Fine, I’ll just point them out when I get home.‘
I picked out a dark green color for fall and she put it on, «Are you sure this is the color you want?» and made a face. Apparently my color taste wasn’t to her style. I then defended my color, which in and of itself is ridiculous, and she smirked and continued on.
After being done she sent me to the dryer to dry. I sat under the dryer for almost fifteen minutes. They were still a bit damp, so I sat in my car for about another ten minutes. It has been two hours and I just brought groceries in and they are smudging all over the place. I have no idea what base coat they put on my nails but they are completely ruined. I have never been to a nail salon that smudged two hours later, that’s just insane.
I’m going to have to completely repaint my nails. What a joke. Avoid this place like the plague.

Got gel nails done and the day after the gelt pulled off like normal nail polish and was breaking my real nails underneath with it went back and they redid them and a aid it’s my fault try are coming apart. Spent $ 38 now my nails have all been broke. Because the gel Chops and pulls your nails with it my nails are ruined and all short again.

Been back twice since my first review. Both times got much better manicures. Color lasting at least two weeks on each. Never a long wait and a great choice of colors for the shellac manicures.

My daughter and I went to QT Spa for pedicures, and I also had a fill. Great job — actually the nail tech fixed a messed up job that a previous shop had done.
